It's very relevant, it's effectively an exaggerated example of what griefers and cheaters do in games. If you can't justify it in real life don't try to justify it in a game. You're comparing apples to oranges here. RL and RS may be similar in some instances, but regardless of how similar they may seem, they are not equal and therefore it is irrelevant to form arguments based on such comparisons.

Well keep in mind that lvl 6 cherry crew is only like 300 more than lvl 6 slate crew. Deck upgrade is also +300, x2, for all ships, and cant be lost

Uhh no. Skillcapes ruined the game. This would only add fuel to the fire that they created, just like the max/comp capes did. The reason why such a system works in Call of Duty is because it's a fun game to play; prestige is a bonus side-effect of the gameplay. In Runescape, it's the other way around. It's a boring game and people grind for levels, hoping that their achievements will somehow justify the lack of fun they had working towards them.

Right. Jagex doesn't seem to understand that introducing things like "high level content" will only entice more people to bot if training to access the high level content is incredibly boring and tedious (not to mention the fact that high level content no longer exists since everybody's a high level now). They need to add more AFK training methods, more social training methods, and most importantly, more FUN training methods. Like I said, though. I think RS is past the point of no return now. The majority of the community prefers boring tedious training methods over fun, social training methods if the fun method doesn't offer the best XP/hr :roll:

It could be argued that the loafers worked harder since they clearly don't enjoy CW enough to participate in it, whereas the "genuine" players probably had a lot of fun and therefore wouldn't consider it "work." /devil's advocate

This is why it's difficult to debate these kinds of things with you guys, and why I don't put as much effort into my responses as I did in the past. I know where you guys are coming from, but you guys have no idea where I'm coming from. Every time we get into these arguments, I have to basically teach you about my lifestyle before defending it. Older women are more likely to settle than younger women because of societal pressures. They might be more jaded, but I sincerely doubt they're more dramatic. Women might hit maturity faster at a younger age than men, but simply put a girl in her 20's is still just a kid barely off her mother's skirts and doesn't know what the [bleep] she's doing in life. Older men might have an easier time with dependent women because of the whole daddy issues scenario but is that really something you'd want to deal with long-term? That sounds like a recipe for disaster. Those are good questions to be thinking about if you're someone like obfuscator or RpgGamer. But not me :P Could've swore your online dating experiments were for multiple short term relationships. That's not the case? o_O No, if I could have the same 4 women in my life for the rest of life, that'd make things a lot easier for me. Less time/effort spent replacing them if/when they leave and less risk for STDs and all that :P
