Are you using the brawling gloves or something in combination with them? Or do you get some sort of bonus XP for skilling in PvP worlds that I'm unaware of? Also, how do the armor sets work? Couldn't you get more melee XP than 100k if you wore like a clay torso and legs at the monkey zombies? Would this double your chinning XP if you wore range clay? Mage XP if you were barraging rock lobs?

Just pick whichever style you need XP in... your attack style gives you +3 att, str, def, or +1 to all (controlled) Yes choosing attack or str would give you (barely) more XP per hour but with the KQ you really won't see any difference

All familiars do summoning-based damage (as opposed to melee/range/mage/dragonfire) - they hit surprisingly poorly on even the lower level monsters... black demons won't yield very good results At the monkey zombies, the titans add about 10-15k XP per hour... unless you have a steel titan, don't expect the titan to carry itself well in battle for you, they're not really designed for combat - just their special abilities and bonus XP

Can you use the PvP Equipment in non-PvP worlds? In other words, can I cast miasmic spells in non-pvp worlds?

They're very easy to solo still - I'll make a guide on them soon probably.

I don't understand why people think changing their setup will help them if they can make it to Jad with their current setup :s

Yes, as long as you use prayer potions though instead of the altar... if you're using piety w/ the altar, it's less efficient than 10% and 5% Expensive tho

I've just been killing bork every night and spending penguin hunting XP on summoning every week... it adds up to around 80k summoning XP/week which is good for the little amount of effort required

You guys disappoint me... Daggers, scimitars, and whips ALL HAVE THE SAME ATTACK SPEED Go to the duel arena and fight someone and you'll see that you get equal amounts of hits on each other :wall:

We don't need an unbiased comparison when comparing statistics in RS - you can't be biased in mathematics lol Bottom line: Scimitar is the best all-around metallic weapon Also, scimitars are the same speed as daggers. Test it out yourself by fighting someone with a dagger and your damage will appear simultaneously. Because 4+ str bonus is better than 40-60+ defense bonus, duh. Yeah, everyone knows that! And obviously at the places where you don't need defence, that +4 strength really owns the +7 prayer you can get from other plates that don't take 10 hours to get. Along with changing their attack styles and making the drops rarer, Jagex introduced another hidden update to the Tormented Demons today... their spawns have been changed, or at least their wandering zones. Most people kill the demons close to the entrance of their lair but now if you use that spot, it isn't long before up to 3 demons attack you until you log out. Before this update, I think that was the only spot where you were safely limited to only one demon as long as you stayed within your small safe zone. Now it seems that no place is safe to kill them without being attacked by more. Does this mean that you'll need a team to kill these efficiently now?

well, get that 20 times and he's dead. That's not how it works. Yeah, it hits a percentage of the current hp. However, it would still hit 100's until he's at 499 health, I believe. No, he only has four hp bars of 500hp

I had a topic on this a while ago... I don't really consider many RS achievements as "everests" since there's so little skill involved - mostly just luck or LOTS of free time. Like... the novelty of various Jad accomplishments has been dead for a long, long time now - like someone said before, anyone who knows how the minigame works can do it w/ basically any possible challenge you come up w/ like 1 prayer and 1 defense... it's just very expensive, time-consuming, and partially luck-based Villandra's achievements are still pretty impressive since while they're super tedious, they're still pretty original ideas along with clever methods towards achieving the goals - it's always fun to learn about some clever trick someone did to pull off a seemingly-impossible task. I guess the only everest I could think of would be solo'ing the corporal beast, though I've never actually tried to kill him (alone nor with a team). Seems mostly luck-based till they release new items As Jagex keeps releasing more and more updates/items, old "everests" slowly become more achievable by more and more people w/ less and less effort needed (like Fight Caves)
