  1. This is what happens when Jagex forgets that the players, whose majority consists of 10-year-olds, are smarter than they are :wall:
  2. Gotta do it all over again
  3. I apologize for helping the community - I'll be sure not to bother you and your impeccable wit in the future
  4. The turkeys have disappeared - the cook's brother will refuse to talk to you right now, though the 10 turkeys in disguise are still wandering around. If you find all 10 before they disappear, you can still get the emote. The 10 locations should be the same in every world, unlike the penguins. Also unlike the penguins, they have a very small wandering proximity, give specific hints towards the next one, and appear as a yellow dot on the minimap. Start off by finding any turkey then just search for the next one you're told to look for. 1. Monestary - West of the southern entrance to the monestary 2. Lumbridge Swamp - Somewhere in the middle; near entrance to Lost City 3. Chasm Mine - The mining area north of Al Kharid w/ the scorpions 4. Mudskipper Point - South of Port Sarim; south past the Blurite Mine 5. Falador - Eastern area past the party room and bank; South of the fountain 6. Varrock - Southwest corner of the city; south of west bank 7. Edgeville - South of bank; area with Yews and Edgeville Dungeon entrance 8. Al Kharid - Wandering around outside of the palace 9. Lumbridge - Around the sheep and furnace area 10. Draynor Manor - Behind the manor (outside of house yet still inside gates) where cemetery is - north of the mansion So hurry up and go find all of those turkeys if you haven't gotten the emote - it's the only way left to do it right now or you'll have to wait a year :P (Note that when the event is completely over, you can still get cornucopia drops from some birds apparently - however, you will not receive the emote)
  5. No point in getting the cornucopia really - only cornucopias from turkeys during the event yield the emote as well :( (I'm in the same boat as you haha)
  6. I've read Dale Carnegie's two main books many times and Covey's too - they're good books, I'd recommend them to everyone since they make tons of things in life easier. Never read the Howard Greene one - isn't that the "power" book or something? I didn't want to read that one cuz it seemed disingenuous/manipulative. Can't really call DC manipulative or disingenuous since one of his principles is to take a genuine interest in people.
  7. good idea i might send gertjaars one  You mean that guy who used the Thieving bug to get millions of thieving xp but won't get banned because he's ranked #1? *instantly hooked* OMG WHAT THIEVING BUG?? TELL ME!!!!1111
  8. Do the best trees and fruit trees for farming while picking the best herbs you can I had to go from 61-65 herblore yesterday... GE wasn't selling *any* herbs. I just asked all of my friends if they had any herbs - had to spend this week's 15 penguin points on herblore and barely got enough herbs to pull it off. Though when I was only 15k away from the final lvl I realized not to search the GE for herbs... rather, search the GE for unfinished pots ;) They sold instantly
  9. If you don't care about mining XP, daga kings are great for it
  10. My friend's waiting on me to get the requirements so we can do the quest together, so I'm sorta in a hurry :P
  11. I stopped training herblore months ago because it's obsolete for me now :P
  12. Yeah - I need 65 herblore to do the quest... I've got all the other requirements (stats + quest cape). GE isn't selling any kwuarms or irits =\ I've just been farming and doing the sorcerer minigame. I've got 4.5M to spend. Suggestions?
  13. this spot isn't worth using w/o the tele whichever familiar has the highest cb lvl
  14. I figured everybody at or on their way to 88 summon has realized this by now... either way it's not the price, it's the fact that scrolls are stackable
  15. Yes, the salve is what makes this spot so efficient
  16. c'bow doesn't reach very far and lags inbetween attacks. fighting jad is most people's problem rather than getting to him so they don't really need a shield/book
  17. That's how much you should be getting w/ those stats
  18. Maybe they're calling you stupid not because you play runescape, but because you're just a bonified idiot. Also: Some of the Blood Elves....Hot. :geek: It's "bona fide" :P
  19. I've fought hundreds of meleers with magic alone, dozens of them with karils... I won about 95% of the time. You forget that your melee averages 0 when you're frozen solid :P In a duel arena match with you, I wouldn't really worry about KO'ing you - just wearing you down Autocast doesn't make a difference to me at all either ... I haven't used it in ages You forget how your magic level is basically all of your magic defense - it's very easy to hit people w/ under 85 magic
  20. There is terrain in almost every location where you fight other players (Fight Pits viewing orbs, CW Barricades, etc)... You can use those as "safe spots" - by luring people to certain places near those obstacles, you can freeze them then move to a certain other spot nearby and you'll be able to reach them, while they won't be able to reach you as long as they are frozen - even if you're using darts and they're using a crystal bow. Though, since the Duel Arena tournies don't have any terrain I just use range against other rangers but I still bring mage with me and use it whenever it's advantageous.
  21. Now try doing that whilst your opponent has karil's armor and subsequently tries to special you out with their dds. Magic can be used as a primary. But the fact is that its uses are very limited as a primary. You can tear through their melee attack and armor, but what happens if they use ranged? Or even put ranged armor on? I've beaten people wearing Armadyl and ranging me... Primary ancients can beat anyone if you know how to use it
  22. I've never had any problems using it as my primary... 8-)
  23. :wall: surely you have the common sense to know how to beat someone in that situation :P At least you're not one of those wimps who complains about being frozen solid for 20 seconds and believes that mages should stand adjacent to meleers when fighting them
  24. oh here it is - I thought this finally died lol
  25. Then they should go to a non-pvp world :P
