Top worst updates ever
Following your logic, that would make RS2 the worst update in history.

Guide to Mage stakers V1.0
Horrible guide... Mage staking is unique because there is very little luck involved - it is all about which rules you set, though you state that it is 50% luck. Your guide implies that you know nothing of which equipment to use or how to properly use obstacles to your advantage. I'm sorry I can't offer any constructive criticism without giving away any of my secrets... you'll have to research it yourself

Words Can Kill (Mods, Please Lock)
Your darwinian conception of how society should work is fairly hilarious. Does that mean if you're weak enough to get robbed and shot in the process, that you deserved it? And that people should say "thestanner2, what a loser. Couldn't even defend against a perp with a gun."? I'd love to see what would have happened if your parents decided to make like Sparta and leave you out on a cliff to determine whether you were strong enough to survive the elements. I'm guessing from your demeanor (e-hard) and attitude (ignorant), you'd be gone faster than I could say "society based on principles of compassion". Actually, most crimes and drama in our society stem from all the things we do in our society to cater to the "beta" humans. If we let evolution take its course, it would weed out the genes of all the beta males and only the strong ones would survive. Though, that would mean that you, stanner, and I wouldn't be here right now.

Why outside forums > official forums
Way to make sarcasm backfire. Way to make being a grammar nazi backfire: http://www.apostrophe.fsnet.co.uk/ He's using the possessive form in this case, so his initial post was correct. Way to try and act smart without properly reading it: Thus I think you'll find I'm actually right. Now, I made my point. I think you'll find my "Grammar Nazi" ways actually had a point to them. Can we please end the spam? Haha they're both contradicting the author's intentions

Ranged ~ New Cheap Methods (Discussion/Research) *40k xp/hr*
Yeah but if you're gonna be using them for a long amount of time, and save for example 50 hours of training, it'll only take 25 hours of earning 300k an hour to make your money back so you ultimately save 25 hours

So there I was..................
The shadow warriors drop left halves, which was a huge reason to kill them because years ago the left half was actually worth something. I saw a topic floating around here saying that the full shield is selling for 750k, which is the same price as the RIGHT half :|

I'm gonna say bronze knives are the best. While they are 6x more expensive for only 7k more XP an hour - a person like me going from 75 to 99 range would have to spend ~8M on bronze knives, but only ~1.5M on bone bolts (this is excluding the accumulator factor). However, you'd save about 50 hours of training by using bronze knives. Assuming you make your money back by earning 300k gp an hour via RC'ing or something, that means if you spent 50 hours RC'ing, you'd end up with 15M, which is almost double the amount of money you would have saved originally. Thus, bronze knives are the better choice. Now to get a void set and compare 100 bronze knives with and without the set. ...Arg just realized I'd have to use the medium PC boats. I wonder if the 20 hours or so spent getting the void set would justify the extra XP/hour :-k

17.48XP per steel knife - guess that means bronze and steel are practically equal. Time to time the difference between knives and bone bolts and compare the xp/hour and cost/hour Nevermind *refers to original topic post*

Ranged ~ New Cheap Methods (Discussion/Research) *40k xp/hr*
17.96XP per bronze knife :\

Ranged ~ New Cheap Methods (Discussion/Research) *40k xp/hr*
I shot 100 bone bolts and 100 bronze bolts; got 19.4XP per bronze bolt and 24.52XP per bone bolt. The dorgeshuun crossbow fires way faster than the rune crossbow and bone bolts are only 1gp more each. Now I'll just compare the bronze knives to the bone bolts

Ranged ~ New Cheap Methods (Discussion/Research) *40k xp/hr*
See if the bronze bolts w/ the rune crossbow are better than bone bolts w/ the dorgeshuun crossbow next - those are the top 3 candidates I think

Another test that could be done could be to fire 100 projectiles and count how many shots you actually use up until you're completely out of projectiles (meanining, use the accumulator), though I dunno if different projectiles are more prone to breaking than others, and I don't know if higher range level means less broken projectiles. Oi so many factors

I was about to make a topic on this as well. I suggest you do the following test (I don't have the gear to test) How much XP you get from 100 of the following projectiles, as well as timing how long it takes to use them. Bronze arrows Broad arrows (55 slayer required) Bronze knives Steel knives Bronze bolts Bone bolts (must use dorgeshuun crossbow) After you get the XP rate with those, someone should perform the same test with the void ranger set. You'd have significantly less accuracy but way more power, and you would be training on rock crabs which have very little defense, so it wouldn't matter. You'd just be doing more damage. Experiments would be another alternative. Wish I had a void set to test it out :\

The Most Profitable Part Of The New Shop Update!
I noticed that too :D Haven't spent any money on range ammo yet, though - having hard time deciding what kind of ammo to buy (bronze knives, steel knives, bronze bolts, broad arrows, etc...)
