Got 99 Magic over the course of like year through taking my time alching and enchanting once the arena was released. PC wasn't released yet =p Got 99 range from 85 in like a week before chins were nerfed and prices skyrocketed - like 500k XP per hour :) Got to 94 defence slowly from slayer/skeletons with salve, then suddenly got motivated to get 99. Somehow tolerated 99 defence via PC for the first time. What a pain in the [wagon], I hate that place. After using the chinchompas from ranging I was at like 96 HP. Got to 98 from slayer and other stuff, decided to get the remaining lvl with PC since it was by far the fastest XP and wasn't too far away: 109 cb now, all done. Time to go staking \

It was never easy for pures; they're the only ones who are getting nailed by this update. People who use my guide didn't even notice there was an update till I told them about it cuz they don't need to lure monsters. So, pures would still be the only ones complaining.

Yeah but you'll have to be creative on trapping the 180s

Monsters in the caves all move diagonally now. Prayer still doesn't drain with an interface (though stats do). Pures cannot get a fire cape anymore. 180s are hard to kill via safespots. Sigh.

An example, the 180s will be a pain in the [wagon] now because they won't come right to you if you stand at the Italy safespot. You'll have to lure them north/south of Italy and then stand at the safespot to get them where you want them. This update isn't very crucial to people with 70+ defence cuz it'll be like my old videos series was w/o luring. It's just inconvenient and makes Jad a little bit more unpredictable (though you can still survive from being killed offscreen by listening to him)

If you have 70+ defence of course it's still easy - it'll be just like my first caves guide before I learned how to lure. It's the pures who are in trouble.

The thing I'm concerned about is the 180s - they are incredibly lethal now cuz it will be very difficult to trap them at a safespot

Trojann pointed this out to me - all the monsters now move diagonally (same applies to DKs). To those of you who "lured" monsters to get your cape, you know what this means :ohnoes: Time to come up with another method on how to get the cape w/o defence since it's seemingly impossible right now >_>

Very uninformative guide, sorry. All this info is in the Tip.It main guide. Also, the home port tele doesn't tele you to Edge dungeon, it teles you to Edge

Assuming that you have the *full* set equipped, three of the six sets are never used in whole, which is a shame because nobody realizes their potential. Guthan: Training; no need for food Verac: KQ'ing, PK'ing; ignores prayer/armor bonuses Dharoks: PK'ing, training; high chances of KO'ing if you don't safe Torags: PK'ing in multi or deep wild; lowers opponents energy so they can't run away Karils: PK'ing in multi or deep wild; lethal if you bring mud pies with you. Your opponent has to walk to reach you, but you can run circles around them (especially if you have super energy potions) Ahrims: I use this all the time when I PK. Lowers melee'rs strength rapidly and shadow barrage lowers their attack by ~15 levels. Ice barrage prevents you from taking damage, smoke barrage increases your chance of KO'ing with timing spells. A three-man team in deep multi with full Karils, Torags, and Ahrims is amazing

They pick up all projectiles as long as there isn't an obstacle inbetween you and your target

All you had to do was cast vengeance and get hurt by a monster

That's not true, I was hit for a 1 by a guard and killed the guard with a 22. Same with the KBD, cept it rebounded with a 245 or something (whatever the KBD's max hp is). The bug's been fixed, vengeance is back to normal

Well I heard someone say (I think it was Muggi) He knew how to do it but some people that did it were getting banned because they would ask random people to fight in edgeville and they would have on the best gear and they couldnt tell. Something like that That was a different bug - people becoming imps/sheep/rabbits (from CW) outside of CW. He won't get banned for this because this bug has been reported to Jagex several times since the release of Monkey Madness and Jagex has dismissed it.

As you leave an area which you can't be a monkey in, you click random stats on your stat page as fast as you can :P

It was a status symbol until people started paying others to do their fire capes for them. Just because someone did it at a lower combat level than you does not mean you shouldn't feel proud of your achievement.

I'll add the log out info. I dunno how good it is - as long as you make it to Jad with like 3 restores left you're fine

Run south of Italy after you kill all the monsters south of Italy and the purple dot monsters will get moved to north of Italy. Then you can kill them while praying against each one to take 0 damage

To those of you who learned how to do it, you should submit bug abuse forms instead of abuse it :shame:
