While most of us are losing interest in this game because our favorite hobbies have been ruined, some of you are claiming this is the best update ever. While it is nice to see the game becoming less "corrupt," the game's gotten really boring for me now. To the people who are "unaffected" by this update: what do you do for fun?

Yes, Jagex is fully capable of changing his username. Why don't they? Who knows.

What do you guys do for fun that you actually enjoy this update? Cut logs all day?

The terms and conditions do not allow you to sue them for this reason. This isn't about him being banned for his name, it's about how they're allowing him to break the rules. Furthermore, the people who have been banned in the past for this same reason were not given special treatment. Why are they suddenly giving special treatment to particular players? If they are trying to make amends by paying for a month of free membership why don't they just change his name or give his new account the same stats as his previous one?

No, many players with maxed stats have received the same message.

Various players are suddenly becoming banned by Jagex for "offensive usernames." However, whether or not their username is offensive, that is not the point. The point is the way Jagex chooses to deal with this. Here is an example of my friend who has been sentenced to a ban in five days: What are we to do now? There are accounts all over receiving the same messages that are not offensive. The discussion here is about Jagex's hypocrisy in breaking their own rules and banning people for no reason.

They need to let people assign "percentages" to certain ranks in their clan chat. Like, each rank would get x% of the loot. If you get a drop worth 10M and there are 4 people in your group, it would say Person A will receive x% of it when you sell it via the GE.

Have fun playing the game how you played it before the update. To most of us here it has aten a chunk out of Runescape. I just realised that you, sir, are a fool for not thinking for the other people. It just shows how much the Rs community has become. All of the RSC players will agree that they have gone too far from their original game. i agree with paul, id gladly trade the nameless/faceless good spirited players for the removal of the filth of this game. why should we think about any1 else? every1 is this game is so greedy, you have to evolve into being self centered most of the time. or at least thats what it looks like whenever you just dont want to be giving away stuff you dont trust people with. Yes but RS is an MMORPG and it's supposed to be based largely around interaction with other players and now they're making that very hard to do
