Full Ahrims w/o farcasting will still win against maxed out meleers. Then there's also the fact that it lowers their attack by about 15 levels and strength by 5 levels about every 3 casts... DDS and maul specs are easily countered via phoenix necklaces and they're easily-predictable (you see them equip spec weapons). Dragonfire bolts are completely random and unpredictable. Plus they aren't limited by your special attack energy. Still, though, like I said-- melee DPS is reduced to 0 if a ranger safespots you. Outside of the wilderness, ranged is useful for DK tribridding, barrows, and Fight Caves.

I regretted making knives as opposed to darts because: a) darts give fletch XP b) you get twice as many darts per bar as knives With steel, though, it'd probably be most profitable to make cannonballs. Buuuuut since none of those are options for you, I'd say stick to knives.

As my final point, then, I'll reiterate that PvP is much more complicated than that if you're experienced with PvP. For example, if you utilize safespots against people melee'ing you, then their DPS is reduced to 0. If you outrun them so they're out of energy, their DPS is reduced to 0. :thumbup: And like I said, DPS isn't everything. Ability to KO and survive is more important.

Yes, but there's more to PvP than DPS. Just because you have the best DPS against players doesn't mean you've got the best advantage for PvP.

Edit: Hedge you're completely forgetting about PvP, which is endgame for 07 (as well as pretty much the entire focus of the game itself)

How can you seriously ask that question? The last two pages are full of people telling you to cut off all contact with her because she's using you. If you want to get your life in order, start with that. And actually do it. Exactly. You know what you have to do. You just don't want to do it.

In the future, you guys should just answer his basic question and tell him to do his own research for future simple questions. While I understand your concerns, I really don't think it's a big deal simply because you can Burthorpe the task. Now, if abyssal demons required defense to kill, that might be a little different :P

I genuinely believe that you'll never change. Hell, you never learned anything from that trainwreck relationship you had with your ex. Why should this time be any different? But if it makes you feel any better, most people never change either. Just look at all the posters in this thread who also complain about the same problems over and over without making any serious effort to fix things or do anything differently. :P

You should be maging w/ melee armor such as veracs or rune w/ granite shield EDIT: I'd also look into using the cheapest ancient spell possible for damage if you're going to use blood spells for healing. Ice spells aren't really necessary and smoke would speed up kills slightly. Though chances are you'll be having to heal the majority of the time anyway.

If you're going to remain 1 def, you're probably going to splash too much to survive. If you use god spells, you won't be able to prayer flick unless you get the void mace

Yeah I figure blood spells will give me a good chance without needing 1000's of purple sweets. I'll just have to lure things behind walls, so I won't spend too much time unprotected from rangers unless I get bad spawns. I think I'll use melee when there's no danger. to save runes and speed up kills slightly. It'd probably be cheaper and faster to range with purple sweets. You're going to splash A LOT with only 1 def and 55 magic. Though, I'd still recommend simply getting 60 range and bringing 6 brews instead of sweets. Sweets and ancients aren't really worth bringing.

She's manipulating you and treating you poorly because you tolerate it. I'd even go as far as to say that you encourage it.

I thought they mentioned somewhere that you'd have the option to make either offensive or defensive PoP armor. Which is why I haven't used any of my resources yet :D

Often times, the longer a relationship lasts, the harder it is to recover from a breakup. In other words, you'd be even more distraught if this "relationship" lasted longer than it did, so think of this as a blessing in disguise and try to learn something from it. I'll just leave it at that since you and I are on completely different wavelengths when it comes to this sort of thing :P

Some people like to collect big cash stacks to impress people, part of the appeal of rares is to wear them around to show them off. Ok - so your goals are all skill related, good for you.
