Nomad Berseker Stage
Use ruby bolts, don't bother with diamond bolts. During his LP-1 attack, you can shoot him 3-4 times then brew up without worry. During the berserker stage, don't even bother attacking him or using restores. Move to safe spot, use 2 kyatt specs and 1 brew, and move back to Nomad. Rinse and repeat.

Soul Wars Guide
I've been playing Soul Wars for a fair amount of time now, and I believe this is really bad advice. On the contrary, the team that first rushes both graveyards at the start of the game is the winner, without fail. While they may temporarily forfeit control of the obelisk for a short while, they invariably overtake it as the opposing team is forced to spawn much farther away at base. In every game I've been where one team controls both graveyards and the other team controls the obelisk, the former is almost guaranteed to win. Just my 2 cents.

I Need 20-30M. Suggestions?
You want a war tortoise for the extra supplies, but you also want your kyatt (with about 100 ambush scrolls) as early in the battle as possible. So you'd switch out familiars the first time Nomad clones himself, as this gives you a full minute to heal, take bob, dismiss, summon kyatt, and set left click option to special attack.

I Need 20-30M. Suggestions?
Buy Verac's plateskirt and get a rune defender. Build an armor stand in your POH if you haven't already. Try spending a little on supplies to tackle Nomad. With the money left over you could buy 1.5m prayer xp or 2m herb xp, give or take. You could even consider downgrading your fury to a glory but that's a bit extreme.

Attempting Fight Caves
If you kill them and they have not healed Jad to full health, they won't respawn. So you should.

Charms/bursts
250 crimsons on average with 1k bursts. So with SOL+Battle robes, 500. You'd need about 10k bursts to get 88 summoning, give or take.

high alching
You should be able to nearly break even with air battlestaffs.

Old School! Post Your Pictures!
Assuming the hard drive is still fine, you can buy a SATA/IDE to USB adapter on Ebay for cheap and connect it to a working computer.

Spears don't work with new rings?
Wait, what? Maul and 2H are both speed 4. Spears are speed 5.

Another money making thread
Some of the Lunar Magicks are very profitable. Superglass Make + Mousekeys maxes out at 1.2m an hour with decent magic and crafting experience. Humidify with clay is decent as well.

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
According to the news article, the only melee ring to require a specific style (accurate) is tactician. I'd say the RSOFers don't know what they're talking about.

The Truth about Ranarr Spawn and Jagexs Great Conspiracy
Herblore probably won't be much cheaper to train. After all, most people move on to super restores at level 63. There are 3 runite rocks. And hardly anyone trains smithing with runite. And I think the majority of iron/steel dragon slayers are doing it in Kuradal's dungeon. This, coupled with the annoyance of picking up 5 bars, smithing it, and dropping it, and I don't see the anvil as making smithing cheaper at all. Prayer might be slightly cheaper. Ourg bones are crashing the hardest right now since they are no longer the best buyable bones. Dragon bones will probably only suffer a slight dip.

92 Firemaking and Gettting an Adze.
I think the first 2 you should light are the ones in the lvl 40 and lvl 52 wildy, to get the hardest ones out the way. Bring a War Tortoise and 40 magic logs so you can light both without banking (and the hammer and 2 iron bars for the lvl 40 one) Then you can bank and tele to Trollheim to do the two next to it and the GWD with 40 yew logs. You need a needle super restore, and 3 Jute fibres for the GWD one as well. The last 10 are straightforward, running from west to east, banking for logs every 2 beacons. You can use cheaper logs at this point. Bring super energies. 2 of them also require smithing/con supplies to repair I believe. I got my adze with several minutes to spare this way.

An Intelligent Perspective On Botters
So should people who train gathering/extraction skills be penalized with reduced profits just so others can train processing skills cheaper? I don't think so. Cheaper raw materials doesn't justify botting.
