Then it was a different video and definitely not anything remotely resembling a guide. The video I was thinking of only has 8 views, so clearly that's not what you saw. I have other (public) videos regarding FPF, but they don't actually go into specific strategies or anything. I think you guys just got confused into thinking it was a guide.

Grats on mod! Also, yeah, I miss seeing everyone still discovering all these methods, now it's all known, etc, hopefully inventor changes some stuff around like that as you said. Here is a very fun project just for you licert! in case jagex nerfs barb assault and we need a new quick way to agility for us non silverhawk boot players, You should go do us all a favor and spend hours and hours on figuring out how to do fpf like Jebrim did then report it back to us! You can make a guide and everything. I know you wont, even though you seem to be upset that there are no methods to discover. Jeez, passive aggressive much? I haven't logged on in a week and I'm not about to log on for agility, you can go do it for me if you'd like. I'm not upset about new methods not being discovered, why would you think that..? Couldn't care less about methods or this game in general ATM. I wish FPF were still the best method. Even if Silverhawks were nerfed, doing Barbarian Assault and Treasure Hunter for bonus Xp and then doing Advanced Barb is still better Xp. As far as I am aware, bonus Xp does not work for FPF. The biggest reason I never published any guide about FPF was due to the sheer amount of complexity and level of content involved. I tried before to even do a beginner guide to advanced strategies. Finding a way to communicate everything proved very difficult and ultimately the guide was way too unclear to publish. There was also a strong incentive not to encourage FPF, as more people doing FPF means less opportunities for you to have the world alone to yourself (something required for maximum Xp gains). And even if someone else were motivated to actually master the place and spend hundreds of hours practicing and revising strategies, I still doubt they could master it to the degree that I did. I really have not seen a strong enough emphasis on tick counting within the efficiency community and adding up ticks over various mini-route options is EXTREMELY important for figuring out FPF strategies. Furthermore there is a diminishing returns on Xp/hr increases. Every further 1k Xp/hr increase involves an increasingly higher amount of complexity, memorization, and time investment. I have yet to see anyone motivate themselves to improve that much in anything in RS other than for Dungeoneering and GOP. I remember seeing your video guide for it and I'll agree. You lost me pretty quickly I never made a public video guide. The only video I did do with any real advice was only seen by 2-3 others.

One could say that there's something of a social status in RuneScape and the way to climb up the social ladder is to complete amazing skilling achievements. The maxed community (historically anyway), has felt something like an aristocracy of sorts. Everyone knows each other directly or indirectly, people have reputations, etc., but then there's the vast masses of noobs that are the nobodies, the commoners. I think the desire to work oneself out of that big group of noobs is what provides the incentive for many people to complete big skilling goals.

grind like dreyri that doesnt help what methods for each skill for each levels, 1-10, 30-50, etc... Well first you fish shrimps untill you can fish anchovies then after anchovies you fish the next level fish ( i dont even know.) why would you want to know this information for every skill/ why would anyone want to type it all out waste of time. I'd like to know because if I ever want to make another account to try and max; I'd like to know the fastest methods and I could also pass on the information to friends or others looking to know Kinda obvious idc whats rc has tons of guides for 1-99. You mean Idk Whats Rc

Drum is doing PvM for money now. He will never do 07 or RSC.
-
He wanted to impress me.
-
Atticusbird?
-
I just talked with him today. He thinks he'll be done in a couple of months (aside from Farming). He's not even remotely worried about Forsberg who still has 200m Fishing to do.
-
It'd be nice to do a video with all the capes. :)
-
Paperbag actually did do laps at Advanced Barb for all of his Xp so far. He didn't even do Barbarian Assault for most of it I believe. He's done more legit Agility than most other top Overall ranks have done, so at least give him some credit.

Bizarrely* Why are you listing 3 former TMOA?
-
Jagex is not some single-minded entity. It was specifically the Old School team that invited them. These people are regular guest streamers on the official RuneScape Twitch as well, which the OSRS team dominates. Also bear in mind that Twitch streaming for RuneScape only first hit off because of OSRS, so it's really not that unusual for the OSRS to have more influence with it than the RS3 team.

Wasn't there some big decision made in another forum topic where the moderators decided they were going to be more laid back here? This one thread brings more people to the Tip.It Forums than all the others combined, so locking it would be silly. Just lay off and let us conduct our conversations as we please, regardless of the specific topic. Moderate only if things start getting offensive. And don't give some BS response about the forum rules. Rules can be changed. There's a lot of people here tired of the overmoderation being done by you guys. Moderating serves the purpose of resolving potential conflicts. What you may consider off-topic posts does not cause any drama conflicts in itself and therefore does not require moderation.

I was talking about iPau. I know about Ken.
-
Does he have a former name that I might recognize?
-
Who even is iPau?

Jebrim II, only 3 months after you did your 9.4m record.
-
Jebrim's records were stored xp records (through Brimhaven or fpf) so no one really cares. But the first player to cross a 30m month at an actual course (which was actually like 25 days or something before going to the hospital with pneumonia) and also the first to cross a 9m agil week. My records were still #1 records even without the stored Xp, so stop trying to toss them aside like they were nothing. I also was the first to 10m week at Barb, so kkthxbai. :) I also did a 14m week at fpf EXCLUDING any stored Xp (including made it 19m), along with several 12m-13m+ weeks during my month record. Stored Xp did not create those gains. Gemeos, she is Obey The Cow. That should be blatantly obvious from how she speaks, her account name, her picture, and her location.

Link to post about it please.

If you wish to set a month record using the Runetracker system, you can begin that at any day. If you wish to do it using the system Jagex just set up, you are required to wait until the first of the month. If you decide to power through a month anyways from where you are currently, only a portion of that month will actually be visible in the record. All of it would be visible using the Runetracker system however. You can start your month record at any time. That's why it's superior.

[hide] oh god disgusting lol. Wait where is this poll. But I think favorite year probably has a lot to do with what times you had the most time to enjoy the game most. A lot of people are nostalgic about 2005-2007 which was ok but still didn't have the best game play ever and had some bad elements too as well as good but a lot of people had a childlike attachment to the game there and there was more socialization around it - not as much shame to tell your friends about runescape then. 2008-2009 saw a lot of positive gameplay updates to skills and the ge and tradelimit update the Ge was overall positive but made people not have to rely on others as much and the tradelimit made lots of pkers and merchants quit the community was super split and upset about this update, also at this time many people were growing out of runescape and started playing Wow/other games/ just moving on. 2010 saw dungeoneering, kuradels and icestrykes and for me 2010-2011 was the funnest in RS. Effigies came and were the first instance of free exp. While a lot of hardcore people hated effigies it gave maxed players and people close to maxing hope for more exp gains and probably started a lot of peoples wants for more exp past 99 besides the top of the highscore list. Dungeoneering gave more people reason to max and with its level 120 made people join in groups longer to train the skill - if this skill only went to 99 most would probably not get the chance to really enjoy it It created real high level enjoyable content that wasn't just bosses. Then came Sof and the nerfing of effigies- here we set the precedent that rs was pay 2 win and it was really rediculous they made updates and promotions to sof and Solomon store slowly and people against it slowly quit as well. Eoc came and some people really liked it but a lot of people didn't like it at all and the people that didn't like it quit. Then they added 2007 scape and it showed that alot of people still had the addiction/attachment to runescape but didn't like the direction it was going at all. But yeah I think overall people just grew up- had less time time to play throughout the years and rs went through distinct generations and people that start now didn't see the good and the bad. Peoples favorite year of scape will be the one they had the most enjoyment - probably from the time they knew the game enough to like it but not enough that they didnt have anything to do. I vote 2010 -pre sof 2011. [/hide] I would say mid or late 2008 is the most ideal time period. 2009 came with energy nerf, LRC, and Advanced Courses. It's restricted to very specific time periods, which is a big negative imo. Runetracker's and CrystalMathLabs's system of a sliding time window that is tracked is superior to the system Jagex just made that is also used by Runetrack and other lesser known tracking sites. It's why those other sites tend to do poorly in comparison to Runetracker and CML imo.
