Now at this moment in time I am in the process of killing 1000 black dragons, as a break I am going to go to the KBD and see how tough he really is. I invite as many of you who wish to come for a bit of fun. The event will take place when I have killed around 500 black dragons, head over to my Blog to see how im getting on. The cc will be mine (samaster xbl) and we will put LS on so if we do get lucky and get a vissy then we will all profit from it. Also if you are interested in influencing me come over here... to help me choose what I'm going to do next.

Read a dg guide in general guides for efficient ways to dg. A chaotic rapier/longsword is worth it in the long run ;) Dg with your friends if you really want to team lol. Anyways good luck with your black dragon slaying journey :) do KBD's next! I was actually thinking of going to the KBD for a bit of fun later on in my goal... I think around 500 kill mark then ill see how tough she really is. ;) If any one wants to come for a laugh they are welcome. I will create a thread for it and put a link in the OP.

I feel that the more high level content there is, the more there is to look forward to, I am assuming that the same people that sit in GE and say "I need 3k for armour" are the same people that attempt RWT because all they want is to be the best at the game with no effort. I think that its laziness, people that see the update and think... "what are the rewards... ooo they look good, ohh, the requirements are hard to get... I'm going to flame and see if Jagex changes them" instead of thinking "what are the rewards... ooo they look good, damn the requirements are going to be hard to get. Better get started..." At the end of the day not everyone in Runescape plays for fun/achievement so we there will never be a 100% appreciation of content. No matter if its big/small high/low levelled I enjoy all content. e.g. the F2P Lumbridge quest came out "The Blood Pact" there where lots of players in the graveyard getting irate about 'how [bleep] the content was' what they forget is that f2p players now have a new place to train, and now have some head gear that gives the best offensive melee bonuses in all of f2p. In the end, every update benefits someone but it will also make other players hate. I don't understand players that hate... Either have fun and enjoy, or... don't? Then why play?

Hey guys, I never really introduced myself, I'm Sam, just turned 19 today. Into music, games and beer. The 3 go nicely together (not for your health though) I have been playing Drums for around 11 years now, have a few projects going on. If anything cool happens I will let you know. Love runescape, it keeps my mind off most of that bad things that happen and would love to be apart of this community. I found out about Tip.it though google and always come here for help/guidance. I would now love to be able to contribute my part to keeping this site as up-to-date and useful as it always is. :D

I would get a Rapier/LS but soloing DG is so boring. And I cant find a team that is decent and fun. Its one or the other out there, Either they are super efficient but i get told of for killing something then booted... or they are too fun and take ages to do anything. lol

This is hugely awesome. This must have been very hard to do, back in the early months of me starting I got perm muted, still not quite sure why, but I had to play this way for a year and a half + no talking. This was before QC. When the appeal offence thing came out I was nearly dizzy with excitement! lol Back to why I'm posting here, really well done. This is awesome. Good luck on 3rd age! :)

The trick to any 99 is to keep your eye on the goal. If you really want it, try really hard to get it.

I hope I do too, never really had a good drop. Only luck is with barrows, had no luck at GWD haven't even had a godsword shard lol And its getting boring now, however the cannon way is insane! average of about 15 secs per kill... just get the dragon to sit on top of the cannon and it gets shot all the time, all the way round the cannons rotation. That was fun lol

Some people are dumb because they ignore good advice, others are noobs because they just don't know what they are doing is stupid. The 3rd, and best group to be in when being inefficient is the group who knows its inefficient, but chose to have fun over efficiency. So kill them how you like, but do it because that is how you have fun, and know there are far better ways to kill them. I'm assuming that you know that I am in the 3rd group. Fun > Efficiency any time. However the ratios for each do shift depending on what I'm doing. For instance if I'm slaying I will take all measures to make my trip last as long as possible whilst killing as fast as possible. When I am just killing for fun I take my time and look at almost every hit and try and max. By the way, loving the Heroes logo! :)

wow, I was kinda bored at work today so I decided to come on here and checkout a few things... I ended up reading your whole blog lol All I can say is very well done, you had some really hard goals and you got them all. :) Good luck with everything else you go on to do! :D

Thank you very much :) That is one thing i love abouit most Tip.it forum users, they are 10x more polite than other forum-ers lol Thank you to everyone else for showing an intrest :) thanks also for the tips, most of which i already know from reading lots of the forums here, and i will definatly be doing most of them in the future. One more thing... it seems i am one of the last people who still love godswords, i know there are better things out there but im happy wiith ma gs :D

Thank you for the tips but the whole point of this, i forgot to mention, is that i finaly got super anti-fires and am trying out lots of differnt ways, i do have dfs yes and i normaly/useed to kill dragons with leaf bladed sword and my dfs. And about the ring of wealth, i dont actually want any more drops, i just want bones, hides and maybe a Vissage. RoW = less kills per trip. When i get back to makeing money for 99 herblore i will take these into account. :D Thank you again for your reply.

Right, me and a few of my friends have been debating which we think the best Godsword is, i came up with the fact that there is no definitive answer to this question as slayers would like the SGS, boss killers would love the AGS (apart from Sara boss killers, they favour the ZGS I believe) and lower levelled players would like the BGS because they can realistically aim to get it. So i thought i would ask you guys what your favourite is, and give the reasons in a comment. Please take these into account: Bandos: Nice high hitting special at a cheep price. 100% spec use Zamorak: Freezes opponent, still quite cheep, very fun, good for PKing (so i have herd) 60% spec use Saradomin: Heals and restores pray, quite pricey so still looks good, very handy for slayer. 50% spec use Armadyl: very high hits, very expensive, awesome for boss killing and PKing 50% spec use My favourite is the Saradomin Godsword, because it heals and restores prayer with its spec allowing for longer trips/more kills.

I completely agree with this, the jobs I don't mind too much. I remember in the good old days of no trade limits I used to hand out jobs to my "minions" such as, 'by the end of the day I want 100 oak logs from you and I will give you 1k' It was also always funny watching low level players fail at trying the scam, Only once did I have to step into some poor gullible player who was just about to press F4 and loose his mithril. I did, however, nearly fall for the 'spinach role' scam myself. (player saying it was worth 100k each) My personal worst fail was when I was in the mid 30's for combat, my mate gave me Zammy full rune, as a b'day present. I, not knowing the full wealth of it, was tricked into trading it for full skele... i was a lil upset at the time but it was all part of growing up in Runescape.
