To start I would highly recommend that getting your magic up, quite a few slayer tasks would be easier is you had better magic defence.

Yeh just keep there till you get one, if you have a bunyip/unicorn/guthan's use them to camp there. Use super sets / extreme sets if you have them and pray if you feel like it you will make a profit from them in the long run using guthan's. Be aware though im not sure if guthan's is stable at the moment you may end up loosing money if you don't have it already. I found a safespot myself and I just crystal bow them to death. I don't have Guthan's but I could buy it easily. I don't think it necessary though. If you have a safespot that's fine, unless you melee stats aren't 75+ then you could hally them to make it quicker. I'm not sure how good range is on them. Out of curiosity what are your stats? 70 attack, 70 def, 65 str, 84 range, 85 magic, 52 prayer, 78 hitpoints. Yeh stick with range for now then. Void and avas? Why not use rune cbow with broad bolts and unholy book?

There is a repair cost on the new armours? That fails, since when do any Godwars equipment need repairing? I could understand a one off repair due to the fact that its so old, but constant... too much like barrows if you ask me.

Hellhounds is a very good choice if you just want the clue.. they only drop charms (mainly gold) and level 3 clues. They get annoying as I used to stop and do a clue each time I got one, I had to change that after 4 clue drops within 100 kills I was very lucky here btw, there drop rate is not 1/25 lol

Lol after herblore I'm sure prayer will be a doddle, at least I get to run places with prayer, with herb I kept amused counting how many times a track came on in shuffle mode =D I think I'm still a little bit insane I keep hearing the grand exchange updating in RL! I will put a picture of my bank after 99 prayer, I need to clean it up a bit. I have loots of bones I need to give to the rag man, and holiday items to put back into my house. Random junk to get rid of, and some stuff I have had since starting... sheers/beginners map lol Just an in-sight to how i got most of my money, in order to get 99 strength I camped aberrant spectres and did soul wars, for mage i alched things (got like +20 gp per alch), wc i got 80-98 at mages and i have been flipping items on the ge whilst doing herb =D

The small strain of OCD in me made me point out that you cannot put anything into the shield slot whilst wielding a bow, no matter how poor you are. :P Yes you would be putting the book in your inventory. It's another 5 prayer bonus during the maging. Ah sorry didn't think about that. Sorry, that was due to one of my other abbreviations not sure what it is, but it has something to do with being thick :D

I have just read up about SW, it may not be the best plan to train range due to the fact that most people ware range resistant armour. So PC (pest control) may be your best bet, even at 1/2 the xp in game. Try and get onto the best lander you can at your level and if someone lures a brawler up to the knight "DO NOT KILL IT!" :)

I'm not to sure where you could go without praying but I have herd that Soul Wars for Ancients is good, but I'm not sure about chins. Give it a go, it may be awesome, chinning people and graves/obby should be good. Good luck =D

I like the dfs for aesthetic reasons but i will sell after i have my desired amount of wyvern bones because i have them blocked from my tasks so i dont ever need to go there again. But Arcane because i'm going to be training a bit of defence with magic because i havnt really used it since becoming 99 and thought it would be fun. I also forgot to say that i will get arcane steam too for that. I will also probs go to SW for a bit of clan warfare and i like to "look the part" if you know what i mean.

Hello, I'm looking for a clan/team to help me get to 85/99. I have 99 herblore so I can help get into any door with boosts, I will have 99 prayer by the time I start DGing. I also have a fair bit of experience in bossing, keying, tooling. I know the lingo, (ht, ggs, denk) I also will have 75 construction so I can also build an alter at the start room.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing but when I log in the "Task List" text shown in your picture comes up for a second. Maybe its just Jagex showing that they changed it. It should go away in an update or two.

Thanks for the offer, but I was actually asking if after I had all my gear would it still be worth the purchase and due to all the answers I have been given I will not be buying it for the use I intended it to be used for. However I may still get it at a later date as a leasure item if I have the cash to spare. I have taken into account all of the information given that is why I am no longer going to go out of my way to buy it. This also I did not make clear and again I am sorry. I will outline my plan involving a sgs to avoid any more confusion. - Get 99 prayer - Got full bandos - Got fury - Got dfs for wyverns - Got ranarr seeds/snape grass - Get food and pouches - Get cannon and cballs - Get claws - Get SOL/Arcane/Ahrims/runes for fire surge. - Get Chaotic maul - Get karils - Get enough charms for 90+ summoning or as many as I can get with my attention span - Get sgs for fun. So its fairly low down on my list. I'm not criticizing you for this, but I'm trying to understand your thinking. How does having the ingredients for 10 prayer pots "ready to make" benefit you over just having the actual prayer pots in your bank? Kinda seems like a little bit of mental gymnastics to think that the unmade pots are a special reserve. This is just the point where I do another herb run, and make 10 more so that I'm never without pray potions. Its and odd method I know but it makes my herb tab look nice lol Thanks for taking the time to help me everyone. :)

Claws has a better spec. That is a fact, not an opinion. If you want I can find the math to back it up for you. Also, the SGS is not worth it, especially not for prayer restoration. You save more prayer by using claws to get faster kills. Everyone here has told you that SGS is not worth it, there isn't a point in posting in H&A if you've made your mind up already. WOW thanks for the telling off... and this sentence was supposed to read... "...ags for PC or something else, not sure... claws beats it every time." that was my bad.

Firstly thank you for all of your advice. :D I will only get a gs for fun, sgs because i like the look of it, ags for PC or something else... not sure claws beats it every time. Secondly: I do this because a year or so ago I used to "bulk-buy" pray potions, but there came a time where I had run out and merch clans had dominated the pray pot market and you could not get anything to do with them for love nor money, ranarrs, seeds... anything. So I went around 2 weeks without being able to get any thus having to resort to barrows with no p pots. With that I had my first big death... I lost around 50-60m in items and runes because dharok is a nutta. And from that day on I vowed to always have supplied ready to make 10 or more p pots and I lived happily ever after... sorry about the ending I thought it sounded better than it does. :D

Around 90m? If you where lucky like me it wouldnt have costed quite that much lol.... Sara brews got merched right as I was finishing up around 10k of them, 11k with SoC and didnt loose much at all =D

So here is my thinking at the moment... I have extremes/overloads/99 herb I will be getting 99 prayer soon, so that will be ss/turm/berserker and I am thinking that, as on all of my slayer tasks I'm going to use extremes/turm/ss I am going to need a lot of prayer potions. I am thinking of getting sgs for the small prayer replenishment so in the long run It should be worth it... Will it? I am going to camp wyverns for a bit until i have around 200-250 bones banked for super prayers, and I am farming ranarrs and permanently buying small amounts of snape grass from the ge at lowest price so I will have a nice amount of p pots. My main question for all you geniuses (Quyneax =D) is: If I have enough cash, after bandos, fury, claws, zs, karils, whip, cannon, cballs, food, pouches, tele's etc... would it be feasible to get my sgs back? P.s. please nothing about "EEE is better than sgs" because im using it for prayer.. not LP i have ss for that. cheers =D
