Nah it just affects how fast you can kill stuff / stay at a spot. The only way I know about to influence charm drops is to do the Familiarisation DD to get triple charm drops for a small amount of time.

How sure are you on this? I am aware that rock lobs are really fast, but has anyone tried this method of killing waterfiends? could it be possible that this is faster for high level players?

The other day whilst doing slayer I saw a guy down in the ancient cavern killing waterfiends with this set up: - Helm of Niet - Fire Cape - Fury - Karils top - Karils bottom - D boots - Barrows gloves - Chaotic Maul He was also using extreme pots, turm and ss. I am wondering, is this the fastest way of getting crimsons as it seems like the most cost effective way and he was 2 hitting almost all of his kills. My other question is that, I have 99 herblore, will have 95 prayer and i have enough cash for all that gear, and i have the patience to get the Chaotic Maul, but is it worth it? Or should I just Chaotic Rapier for slayer. I will end up getting them both but my aim after 95 pray is 90+ summoning + maxing melee.

Just wondering, how do you make money from alching dhides? I swear black dhides only alch for like 50 gp each, or do you tan them, craft them then alch? Again... awesome blog, loving it =D

It would make sense to have to kill some of each god's followers, as all of the gods assisted in getting rid of Zaros.

Hows things going with herblore, any plans on getting back to it any time soon? Also thought I would let you know that I have powered on though and got to 98 herblore :D I gave cleaning a go but I got insanely bored after about 2k of them so gave up and realised that you must have the patience of a saint! lol

I hope to get around 10 people to come to this, as its a fairly big achivement. =D

This is my update on herblore, i also have been doing some dung, slayer and random skilling for a bit more cash/stuff. Hope you all had a good Christmas. =D I made 100 overloads at 95 with greenmans ale boost.

As far as I know this wouldn't actually be a usb device, but actually a little keychain that generates random numbers every x minutes based on some secure and unique algorithm. I'd get one :thumbup: Thats the one, we use something similar to that at work for connecting to some very secure database we created. I think this would be very good. =D

I love this idea, I think its genus! How about these too... For the ring of stone, when a player is in stone mode, you should be given the same right click options as ore rocks. Could be funny for luring bots. Adding a 'Fake' tree? Or maybe you can imbue the fake tree/ore/box trap with runes to either teleport or attack the player chopping/mining/looting it. Support by the way... :D

If they bring back free trade, which i personally don't think they should, the hacker community would thrive and become more of a threat. At the moment, as far as i know, hackers just hack an account though jealousy, drop all the good stuff, cash and log back out. If they do bring it back then there will need to be some more security precautions. I cant remember the thread on RS (i may have dreamt it) this was on, but i vaguely remember something about a USB device that you can 'store' details for you account on. In order to log into RS you need to have this in the usb slot of your computer. I thought this could be a very good idea for players who wish to have this level of security on their accounts, it would not be obligatory to have this and it would cost some money but i would personally love this. People may ask what would happen if you lost the usb device, and if jagex could send the user an email asking a different set of recovery questions a minimum of 10 with another, different password the account will be removed from the usb and be a 'normal' account again. I personally think this would stop hackers or make it harder for them to operate thus allowing free trading to happen without worry of being hacked.

I am not 100% sure but I think "normal" gems i.e. the ones that can be obtained by mining are the only ones that have the 5k limit. I think the dragonstone limit it 100 and the onyx is 10 due to the rairety / price of them. Again not 100% sure. Just a thought, have you tried buying one from the ge at max? That would let you know if you have reached the limit.
