Hello, I'm the Doctor! Back and ready to be a noob again!
Lolz I plan on getting the fishermans outfit now apparently because fish flingers is good exp and it will help my cavefish/rocktail fishing go faster later on (once I get t4 call of the sea). Getting the full outfit is my goal for the week along with 82 smithing, 86 fishing, and 83 runecrafting for dem bloody skulls.

Charm collecting
Did t7 benefit a lot from the last accuracy tweak or something? Because last time I used t7 on glakkers it splashed so often you often couldn't get the kill before it started to regenerate health after exploding (assuming you killed the unstable last).

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
I've had 5 + 1 that was unusable because I had 3 already. Used 3 of them on the 2 25 plate story missions and one for the 25 bones mission. The other I used when I was a noob at ports and didn't realize how useful they would be later on a 160 bamboo mission lol.

Familiars
Don't bother getting additional weapons. No point in buying a claw when you will eventually replace both it and your maul with drygore. Royal is as good as dual ccbow so those are a waste of tokens as well. Charming imp, arc stream, herblore and farming scrolls, tier 2 or 3 prayer necklace, bonecrusher, and herbicide are currently the best rewards to get.

Hello, I'm the Doctor! Back and ready to be a noob again!
Could do something crazy and like maybe get levels the old fashioned way The 60 k gold ore and nature runes in my bank say hi. I do them in between warbands but I'm not going to say no to faster exp that's also consequently free am I? Apparently I am because I'm sick and [bleep]ing tired of being pk'd. Apparently I don't get how to use this friendschat. EDIT Also because I'm an addict...

Hello, I'm the Doctor! Back and ready to be a noob again!
Only 10 more crew members to get from ports now, I need 2 more tiger riders, 2 more harems, 3 more traveling bands, and 2-3 more oxheads. I really like having 4 merchants, and I can see them being useful especially after you finish unlocking all of the scrolls and all the voyages you do would benefit from their bonus.

How I should start POP
It will be hard to send out ships at close to 100% until you near the end of a region, and when you start a new one you'll deal with low success percents again. Just get used to sending ships out at less than 75% and you'll be ok, but make sure to do your randoms as soon as you can to get lifeboats for your ships asap. They never go away once used. Failing a mission still adds to your progress through the region (distance traveled) and thus isn't as bad as it's made out to seem as long as you didn't lose crew members.

Hello, I'm the Doctor! Back and ready to be a noob again!
BLAH I ended up going to see my girlfriend because she was sick tonight instead of playing. Not a bad thing but that's why I got nothing done. I will be getting 85 fishing and 82 runecrafting tomorrow as well as some levels from warbanding + superheating. EDIT : Finally! A short while later (my first re-roll with a +5 crew reroll from a random)...

If you already have a mainhand crapier I wouldn't bother getting the claw unless you're going for 99+ dg at which point you will have more tokens than you need for all the rewards. The extra 1.whatever crit rating isn't the spectacular when the weapon is just going to get replaced by drygores as soon as you have the cash and levels. Get a chaotic staff first for the weapons as it's the only one that still is the best in its class. Chaotic crossbows are basically a waste of tokens with an equiviant tier (royal) that costs much less and is easier to get in the first place plus a tier above (ascension) if you have a huge bank to burn.

Chaotic staff is really the only useful dg weapon now, and that will change as soon as t9 mage comes out (so in like 5 years). Gratz on starting ports! I would just work on slowly getting all your ports skills to 90 (fishing and rc are all I have left and I'm working on both atm). For the record ABS is not near enough similar to cstaff, cstaff is much better. Don't get the smithing scroll either because warbands. Arc Stream, bonecrusher, and tier 2 prayer necklace are all good (no need for tier 3 because it only ups the prayer for dragon and ourg bones by 50 prayer points, you still get 100 for them with tier 2 which is more than enough in every situation and for dragons you probably won't want to crush the bones anyways because you need cash to work on your failing herblore level). Charming imp hells yes. Also for the record dw ccbows are ever so slightly better in terms of dps compared to rxb but not worth the tokens for sure.

This is an ok idea, you can only get a max of 1 scroll per day anyway and once you get close to max crew in pincers you can send out that scroll at much higher % chance of success than you can as you progress through the regions. So send them out when you get them but don't worry about it if they fail (it still counts towards your distance if you fail) because you will get them all eventually in the end. Just make sure you focus on the ones you want the most (for me all the Tetsu scrolls, Seasinger Hood, and Death Lotus hood were my tops so I have them finished now.) Each storyline ends with a trade good mission (2 for 25 plate, 1 for 25 lacquer, 1 for 25 chi, 1 for 25 bones, and 1 for 100 spices). Then you have the trio storylines that result in 50 plate and lacquer for one and 50 chi and bones for the other. All the info you would ever want about the special missions can be found here... http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Player-owned_port/Special_voyages

Hello, I'm the Doctor! Back and ready to be a noob again!
Also worked on runecrafting (50 k exp knocked off) and some residual magic exp because of superheating inbetween warbands. I also noticed that I'm only 47 k from 85 fishing so I'll do that at fish flingers later tonight but after that I'm probably going to play halo with my brother for the rest of the evening.

1. Google warband pk, their website has all the info you need. The short version is batwing armor helm, chest, legs and a polypore staff 2. Soloing DG had the experienced buffed so it isn't as bad as it once was. Ideally it's still best to do it in teams but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone doing c6 larges on anything less than floor 30. C6 smalls are just as good exp/hr once you get good at them though. Solo for now to get a feel for how to do it for sure. 3. MTK is Manage Thy Kingdom, a D&D unlocked from the quests Royal Trouble and another that I cba to remember. You put money into it, your peasants gather resources and you sell those resources for profit. It's basically 1.5 mil a week for 2 minutes of work.

And count on at least 3-4 months before you get your first pieces of ports armor. I started mid march and I just got to pincers (the last region) last week and just now got enough plate for my superior helm. Now to get 90 smithing to make the darn thing...

Because screw us that's why. Personally can't see myself grinding the cash to get the bows when I already have drygores. The only place you're basically required to use range is Aviansies (I imagine it makes kree a breeze like it wasn't already with t8 bows) and the new dungeon. They would have to release new monsters with a range weakness that have defense that's high enough that drygores won't work well for me to really be interested in them.

Arctic pines are indeed faster, just bonfire the logs or drop the logs using the abilitybar. If done correctly at higher WC levels one could attain up to 140k/h. Another method is the C2 method I mentioned earlier. If you duo, it is possible to reach up to 180k/h and over 210k/h if you trio. This however is if you are the only one doing the trees. One person is then either clearing the dungeon and the other is tree standing for you to tele there. However even solo rates could match and in some cases exceed the Arctic Pines rates. 1) To be fair in personal experience making shields is more a hurdle then a welcome increase in exp/h. 2) I agree and I also said he should do arrows but on his tight 10m limit, it would be best to do bows. If he did make extra cash then it would be best to do Broad Arrows indeed, but be aware if you decide to do Broad Arrows, they are untradeable and would be forever in your bank unless you sold back to a general store. Wines are very expensive in comparison to the fish. It's slower to do fish but a lot cheaper. He could get 99 under 8m perhaps even under 6 if pulled well. With wines the amount of gp needed would exceed the 20-30m. Quite a few hours to make gp then =3. Well one could use a mixture of Maple Bonfiring and Jadinko FM. 3) Nothing to comment on ;D! 1. They're much faster exp/hr than bodies, especially if you use AHK or mousekeys to bank quickly. 2. For arrows specifically it is always going to be better to make the cash to do broads than it would be to do bows. Especially since you can fletch broads while you do other things (like making money at QBD or GWD for the cash to do more broads). I only threw wines out there because they are indeed the fastest exp/hr and 20-30 m is only between 3-4 hours of making money if you know how to do it well, if you're stuck with conventional things like glakkers, QBD, and GWD you're still only looking at 5-7 hours. I personally would do fish as well because its still fast, very cheap, and much more AFK which I value alot.

Pretty much exactly what Q said. Google "warband pk" for more info on how to do warbands safely, they're a friends chat that helps hundreds of players every day get the most exp they can get from the events. For dungeoneering I would just add that you can do your lower floors on complexity 2 for added fishing, woodcutting, and firemaking experience while getting your lower floors done. MTK is worth it, buying battlestaffs and broad arrowheads are also worth it for dailies. Herb runs are still consistent cash as well. For other dailies and MTK price info here's grimy's spreadsheet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldEhLOK6ejJdHlwRC1VRVJiUkFNM2JVQ3otNS0xUGc#gid=1
