Returing -- Few questions
Slayer is the best for training all combat stats right now in terms of maxing. You can barrage most tasks with a wand+book combo, for armor you have pretty much what you want, for jewelwery you should get saradomin's whisper and murmur, an arcane stream necklace, for rings get a 6th age circuit. Capes you want Kiln, Ava's Alerter, Mage arena cape For weapons you want a godsword until you hit 80 at which point you want a mh chaotic claw + ee until you can afford a drygore main hand and have 90 attack. Range you want a royal crossbow. Magic you want a chaotic staff OR wand book combo, ideally virtus (200 mil price tag). Other tips include doing warbands every day to get free smithing exp->construction exp->mining exp->herblore exp

Hello, I'm the Doctor! Back and ready to be a noob again!
I'm allowed to be lazy after grinding 82-90 slayer in 6 days. 94% through the bowl. I've got 4 totems up and all ship/building upgrades taken care of with no need for any resources besides 3 k slate (I already have it) and steel which I won't be able to get until ~2 days from now? Cheers.

Combat gear
^Black dragons should be QBD'd if you have access to drygores.

come back to RS need slayer advice
thanks for the reply most of what you said i already have as i didnt sell anything when i quit what is t7 armor? will look at getting some of those things out of what you said what requires quests/dungeoneering? id like to stay away from combat quests for now with the combat changes and dungeoneering isnt a skill i like as i only like to play solo and its painfully slow solo They buffed solo dg exp rates, chaotic mainhand claw is only 100 k tokens and you use it with an ee because ee is better than all chaotic offhands. There's really no reason to shy away from combat quests either, they all just got easier with EoC for the most part.

100m to Partyhat - how should I go about this?
If you have 500 m there's no reason to not use torva and drygores. There isn't really a guide, just put on soul split and turmoil, overload/super antifire/prayer renewal. Spam abilities until thresholds, don't waste thresholds when you're near the end of a phase. Once you get that down you can start stalling adrenaline between kills and using berserker / adrenaline pots on phase 4 to make it go consistently faster.

come back to RS need slayer advice
For most monsters you don't even need the protection prayer, a bunyip is enough healing for all the normal tasks if you have at least t7+ gear. you're going to want all 3 combat styles so with your budget I would get a full slayer helm, barrows tops/bottoms (veracs, ahrim, karil), a 6th age circuit for a ring, saradomin amulets for range and melee, arc stream for mage. For capes you want a kiln cape, ava's alerter, and mage arena cape. Otherwise just use a skill cape (t). For boots there aren't a lot of good options, bandos boots are probably your best bet. Gloves you can still use RFD gloves or DT gloves if you have them. For weapons you'll want at least a staff of light, royal crossbow, and chaotic claw for your mainhand / ee for your off hand. Upgrades you want to focus on are getting GWD tops and bottoms for the damage boost, then GWD gloves and boots. For weapons you'll want a Chaotic staff and work on getting a drygore mainhand weapon.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
Well, scrolls are no use beyond the ones you use to make money, so I'd suggest 3 jade statues at least. My goal is max port score as soon as possible. Probably should have stated that as well.

Bandos -> Virtus VS Chaotics -> Drygores
For zil you won't want to melee in anything less than torva with drygores, and you'll still be hard pressed to beat out someone barraging with virtus wand/book. MH casts ice barrage, OH casts blood barrage. That with soul split should always keep you well off for health. You use momentum ofc. If you use a cstaff you'll want to use abilities but I'm not sure how your health will manage as most of it you get from the minions dying in the barrages. EDIT drygores are always at least 12.5 % better than chaotics.

Hello, I'm the Doctor! Back and ready to be a noob again!
snarky* *looks up* I see nothing. Meta-snarkness. Developing idiom is just increasing layers of metasnark, compressed at the bottom. What even what the what? So basically I've been inactive outside of logging in to do ports 2 times a day because of my job. Everything went to shit, they made us start working from home, fired both of the managers, changed how we do everything and I now have to learn how to do my job again, which I just finished learning because I've only been at the company for 2.5 months. In RS related news I purchased 90 smithing and have the cash for 90 crafting. WTB runecrafting and fishing levels though.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
So I'm 80% of my way through the bowl and I've gotten all the crew I need and now am amassing excess jade and cherrywood. I have all of the building upgrades sans totems and the workshop (which I won't be needing until I get all the way through pincers and start focusing on trade goods anyway). So I'm going to build some totems, I assume I should focus on having 4 telescopes for now to make sure I can get all the scrolls I want for armor and then switch 2 of them to trade goods once I have my armor scrolls unlocked and am working on scrimshaws/rocktail soup?

Questions on weapons/etc.
Rock lobsters are certainly not the best. Things that are better include... Waterfiends (range), dagannoth (barrage with cannon to draw spawns), exiled kalphite guardians (range or melee if you have drygores), glacors (mage, t8 equipment basically required), KBD (you need a well populated friends list to quick hop worlds and ideally drygores to get good rates). There are some others but I cba to list them all. The first two are pretty much the best anyways.

Variety of questions:effigies, mtk and theiv/hunter training.
Once you have the guards trapped its just left clicking as fast as you can. Very relaxing

Variety of questions:effigies, mtk and theiv/hunter training.
at 90 Thieving you have a couple options... Monkey Knife fighters are fast exp (250 k xp/hr+) if you use mousekeys/AHK PP is of course still a fast way to train, expect ~180 k xp/hr until you get another level, at 91 it jumps up to ~220. This number can increase a little by using a scepter to tele to the start room, and also doing it with a partner for the sake of getting through the doors faster (the correct door is the same for everyone). Blackjacking is about the same speed as PP My personal favourite is dwarf traders which max at higher than MKF's but will probably be about the same as PP at 90. You need gloves of silence and ardy cape (3/4) to do this method and to be honest I would recommend using an abyssal lurker and scrolling every minute to maximize exp/hr (boosts thieving by 4).

Momentuming QBD and Dominion Tower
No way this is true. People got those times using all the tips and tricks available using full abilities, no way momentum did that well.

How to melee and protect against mages?
The way accuracy works for armor (on these forums at least) is pretty common knowledge. Chest, Legs and Shield affect accuracy while the rest do not. For 99% of monsters in runescape getting the extra defense does not matter if you have overloads, soul split, and drygores (even t80 weapons suffice in most cases) so it's better to just do the power armor of the type of damage you're dealing. For bossing it's better to round out your defense at most bosses because you take damage from all 3 sides of the triangle at once.

Dungeoneering Worlds
For the most part everyone splits up and takes their own path now outside of the occasional emote/levers rooms. My experience on w77 has been between 20-40 minute floors.

QBD Killing
Unless you're using something with defense/lp as low as void you shouldn't have an issue with phase 4 souls spawning + super breath combo. I never use adrenaline pots or berserker and I rarely if ever saw them on phase 4 together, I just made sure that I had assault and destroy ready to go and 8/10 that finished the phase start to finish. The biggest thing is not doing ability stacking with auto attacks, you should be using abilities every chance you get. Adrenaline pots with berserker will help you get faster kills but worry about those two being used in tandem after you incorporate more basic stuff mentioned above and feel comfortable with them.

Port Skills
Thieving is going to be the fastest if you use mousekeys/AHK blackjacking or monkey knife fighters, if you don't use mousekeys/ahk you're going to want to do PP. I just finished doing 82-90 thieving and it took me about a week of moderate playing.

Hello, I'm the Doctor! Back and ready to be a noob again!
I lost internet for the last 2 days. Sad. Just sent out my ships again, the bad news is that my company that I work for may be going under. The leadership beyond my immediate bosses are complete idiots and have essentially put the idea that in the next two months we may all lose our jobs as "motivation" for us to sell more products (sell products = keeping jobs). All they really accomplished with this threat is all the employees are now looking for new jobs that don't have a fear mongering atmosphere. Blarg In other news I should be getting my 4th ship tomorrow
