So i met my sister's friend ~2 weeks ago. We hit it off. Tried setting up a date with her all week last week. Really hard. She's kinda flaky. Makes 100 plans, doesn't stick to one of them. Not just with me, in general. Thursday night we finally make plans. We go out. We go back to her place afterwards. Was fun. She asked me to stay over. I was cool with it, except i took a rather strong dosage of Adderall before going out, so i was wide awake the entire time. Any idea how boring it is lying in bed in a strange house, next to someone fast asleep, and you're unable to fall asleep? Stayed awake for 6 hours staring at the ceiling. No lie. 6 hours... Couldn't even mess around on my phone cause i felt bad that the light might wake her up. Whatever, it was worth it in the morning at least. Today we're planning a desert trip. Some of her friends, some of mine, my sister, etc. I feel like it's going to be pretty awkward. Generally i'm comfortable with girls in front of my sister. But for some reason i feel really awkward about the situation knowing that it's my sister's friend.

I stayed up till around 10:30 AM and went to bed right after Trump's "speech". I think people should give him the benefit of the doubt before they start panicking too much. Honestly i'm just happy Clinton lost. She doesn't deserve to be the first female America president.

So i found out where all the hot girls in this country hang out. Turns out i just need to go to a Ladies Night. So many hot girls, it felt like i was watching tennis with my head going back and forth. The only downside is the music is SO DAMN LOUD! it's impossible to say or hear anything. So when you text the girl later on it's like "Yeah i'm that guy that yelled at you the other night". Like what do i even do... Saw a really hot girl looking over at me a few times. Really tall though. Her heels were like 4inches at most which made her more or less as tall as me. I was just about to go over and talk to her then i figured it really isn't worth it. Just really couldn't be asked to have a yelling contest with someone, while awkwardly nodding my head like i have any sort of clue what they're saying. Guess that's the sacrifice you make if you want to go somewhere with half-decent looking girls.

On Friday i went to a barbecue with my sister. Apparently one of her friend really wanted to meet me. We hit it off right from the get-go. I didn't actually expect it to be honest. We're gonna have a date sometime in the next few days, see how it goes. She seems very keen. I'm slightly nervous because she's got 8 years on me. Not really sure why i'm nervous. It sounds really stupid of me to say this, but this girl (guess i should call her a woman instead) seems different to the typical superficial girl i usually meet around here.

Also, as far as I remember you were always into "black" girls so I don't find this nearly as ground breaking as you seem to. Bought Battlefieeld 1, currently downloading 40 [bleep]ing gbs. Yeesh. Never really black girls. I always had a thing for Indian/Pakistani girls. Still do to be honest. But i just never really found myself attracted to a black girl before, until last night. Damn... She and her entire group of friends were so damn hot.

So tonight i took a "huge" step and picked up a black girl. She is so [bleep] hot i couldnt resist. #kindadrunktiffing. EDIT: Will probably delete this when sober.

Welp i finally gave in and bought an iPhone 7.

Oh hell no.

What does this mean? I literally worded that in the worst way possible. There are a few reasons i can't really explain (because either i don't understand them myself or i forgot them), but one of the other things is that there are a lot of applications for Apple products that are very helpful/convenient for pilots whether they're training or established Airline Pilots. A lot of these applications, as far as i know, are not available (yet) for other phones.

I was considering that. I'm not really up to date with all the new phones, but i figured i should be able to get a difference brand like HTC, Samsung, or Nokia (i don't even know if they still go by Nokia anymore), or whatever for a decent price and still have something similar to an iPhone 7. Problem is most people i've spoken to highly suggest getting an iPhone over other brands since most aircraft are a lot friendlier towards Apple products. I'm not sure if that's worldwide or just in this region though. But most (if not all) of the pilots my dad works with have an iPhone. I might just look around at other options anyway, but i'm sure that for anything "top of the line" i'll pay more or less the same price anyway.

Hmmm i've been thinking about upgrading my phone. I'm still using an iPhone 4. I've had it since Christmas 2011, so it's pushing 5 years now. I'm actually surprised that in all this time i've never had to get anything fixed or replaced. I've dropped it a few times, but never hard enough to crack the screen. Technically it's still in perfect working condition. The battery is still relatively fine too. I have to charge it every day if i use it often, or every 2 or 3 days if it just sits there. My only issue with it now is that with every iOS update it gets slower and slower. Apps are taking longer to respond, which gets slightly annoying sometimes. Especially when i'm in a rush to do something. The biggest thing holding me back, from upgrading, is sentimental value. My first smartphone. My first iPhone. It has pictures, conversations, etc. on it that i don't want to lose. Even if i never look at them, or read them, it's nice knowing they're there. The other obvious thing is price. I just can't justify paying ~$835 for an iPhone 7. Maybe it's time i just bite the bullet and get a new one.

Went out into the desert last night to camp out a bit. Watched the meteor shower. Fell asleep under the start. It was all very amazing. Made even more amazing by the fact that i took shrooms for the first time. What a night to remember. I do think i need a good massage now though.

Today i met the uncle of one of the wives of the previous Emir. This dude has a seriously impressive car collection. He has about 10 Classics in his garage all waiting to be restored. Chevy, Ford and GMC pickups, and 2 Muscle cars. He's working on them one at a time, and the Ford Pickup he's working on now is getting a 850HP engine. I'm actually jealous

I got a shave today. Been growing my beard for about 8 months now. My beard grows pretty slow so it was by no means extremely big, but it was fairly decent. It started getting pretty messy though and i got annoyed at having to wash my entire face after i eat just about anything that has the slightest amount of moisture in it. Feels kind of weird now though. Feels weird feeling the wind on my face again. And it's always strange how small my face feels/looks after having a beard for a long time.

Not sure if you're referring to my home town as the crime capital of the world, but you're not far off. I lived about an hour's drive from what i think most people would call one of the most dangerous cities in the world. But ignorance is bliss, as they say. I guess when i lived there i didn't really think of the dangers too much, or too often.

I think hearing those noises when you're home alone is one of the best feelings in the world. I remember back when me and my sister lived together in South Africa i used to come home in the afternoons and i'd be alone until 2 or 3 am when she got home from work (she worked night-shift) and i would sit on the couch in silence just listening to the house for hours. Granted i used to be high pretty much all the time back then, but it was still very soothing.

I'm back on the Destiny grind. Been playing a bit this weekend. Checked out a video or two on the new Raid. Think i might pass on it for a while. Looks a bit harder than the previous Raids, and it's already hard enough to find competent teammates. I'm thinking that finding a decent team for the new Raid might actually take longer than the Raid itself... Also still playing some Bloodborne whenever i get bored with Destiny. I really don't understand how i ever disliked Bloodborne (apart from the terrible PvP, cause i still dislike that part of it).

Bought the new Destiny expansion yesterday, along with the Bloodborne DLC cause i had some money left over. I wanted to make sure the Bloodborne DLC worked because i wasn't sure it would due to region-locks and such. Only really planned on playing Bloodborne again in a week or two but i needed to make sure it worked in case i wanted to get a refund. I only had a little bit to do before i could actually access the DLC so my plan was just to do that. It's been over 24 hours and i'm still playing. Haven't slept yet... I'm hooked :\ I need a job...

I started my second playthrough of Dark Souls 3 about 2 days ago. I'm hooked again. I really love this game. I feel like it's the best in the series by far. I love the weapon variety. I think after i finish this i might start a second Bloodborne playthrough. As much as i live Dark Souls, i think BB is still the superior game (albeit slightly easier imo). Destiny Rise of Iron is released in a few hours. Would really like to get the DLC, but i need to figure out a way to get it without having to buy a new digital copy of Destiny because my game and DLC regions will differ. I hate how PS4's games and DLCs are region-locked.

Finally got new juice for my vape. [bleep] i feel so stupid for even saying those words... Anyway... friend managed to bring some back for me when he went to visit family in the US. Got me watermelon and menthol. Delicious.

I just think it's weird how it never occurred to me that she might be that much older. She just doesn't look/act like any of the other typical 30 year olds i know, which is why i always assumed she was in her early 20s. It just made so much more sense.

Yesterday was the birthday of this girl i know. We hooked up a few times in the past. She's a cool girl. I found out though that it was her 30th birthday. I was actually in disbelief. I thought she was 22, 23 at most. When i think about it even now it still doesn't make sense how she's 30... It's weird. I'm obviously really bad at judging people's age.
