  1. Do you operate in f2p? What are your rates? I might be interested.
  2. Paying them to be online all day cicling worlds banning bots would be more efficient than what they have now. Money well spent.
  3. First you have to win the Godfather's favour. You think you can just waltz in on his turf without retaliation?
  4. Most likely, since some games do not keep track of your wins. From a game designer's point of view, they probably set a cap on that percentage.
  5. It's not 2007 anymore. Jagex has lost even more credibility. Why should I believe anything they say? If they were paying with stolen credit cards, some bots would actually be banned. Seeing as bots aren't being banned, it's safe to assume that they are paying legit money. In fact, there's no reason for them to use stolen credit cards. Business is more profitable than ever.
  6. But I am "boycotting" the BXPW. I won't renew my membership until I see actual good content out.
  7. Prove it. Because my experience tells me otherwise, and I see no reason to believe your statement. If they were using stolen credit cards, most of them would be banned already. A friend of mine had money issues with Jagex before, and they are not light on the banhammer when they see you have some issue paying.
  8. Looks interesting. I'll decide whether or not to resub when all the updates are out.
  9. No, actually, they can't. We can't have "the best" upgrades every update, but what they could do is release alternatives for different playstyles, instead of just giving cosmetics around like they're candy.
  10. What is this "testing" you speak of?
  11. So, did you enter?
  12. Yay, it's [bleep]ing nothing. And to think that I was actually excited for a new high level armor.
  13. Sure thing bro. That's a pretty cool way to demonstrate your ignorance on the subject.
  14. Yes, some accounts are worth just that. I know a guy who got a car for an account. A used one, but still. There are people that have lists with over 5000 account + passwords. They methodically log in, drop your untradeables, trade your valuables and move on to the next one. Making billions in a flash and selling them is good money from a hacker's perspective. Of course, if they get a hold of your bank account, they'll probably try to get that much more, so what's your point?
  15. Then you have no idea the kind of money that hacking accounts can bring.
  16. I think we had a thread about this a couple of months ago.
  17. I think the point here is that facebook login subtracts from an already poor system. It just adds space for more security breaches, and with facebook, those can be pretty damn personal. I don't like the email system at all, I'd honestly like to see the original system back.
  18. And you think the average 12 year old kid that plays runescape has great computer security notions? I don't get your point. Seems more like a poor attempt of a personal attack than a reasonably sound argument.
  19. You'll need a Mobilizing armies rank of 1000.
  20. You think that the money-oriented business practices they have currently, the board would let a section that has been useless for years stay around if they didn't make a profit. Spare us the "you don't know, Jambflex is so poor and their trying their hardest!". If they were spending a lot of money on anti botting measures, we'd see results. Honestly? I don't even believe such a section exists, or if it does, it doesn't have enough employees to cause financial harm. I don't think you have any idea how huge an income the bots are. If there were no bots, jagex would be bankrupt in months. There are more bots online at any given time than players during school-time.
  21. Especially when Jagex is activelly harming the game. Kinda hard to agree with them.
  22. Maybe because only by having the "benefits" he had could he actually help with the problems to some degree? Everybody knows that Jagex doesn't read reports.
