  1. I still don't get why Jagex takes pics in .jpg format, it's like they really don't know what they're doing!
  2. Would be much better if it ended with Nex... :(
  3. In a real money vs slight exp boost situation, I think money wins. In either case, it would almost certainly be more efficient to just spend the saved membership money on cheap gold instead of giving it to jagex for no reason.
  4. Sometimes taking a break is the wisest option, especially if you find yourself sitting around in the bank with nothing interesting to do. Loyalty points are useless garbage. Cosmetic rewards aren't worth renewing membership when you have no interest in the game. This time comes for everybody. Extend your break until you see something announced that sparks your interest for the foreseeable future.
  5. Don't give Jagex your money if they don't give you interesting enough content.
  6. So, what do you suggest I do? The only think I can remotely think of is leveling dungeoneering.
  7. That's a crazy assumption you have going on there. Truth is, I have done everything on that list. I've killed all the bosses, played all the minigames, got all the usefull rewards, done all the quests. And truth is,content coming out this and for a good part of the last year, just wasn't up to standart with old content. Its only lasting appeal is mindless grinding, and often for fruitless rewards. The introduction of timed content (weekly, monthly, even anual like the Hati wolf) is a cancer that is spreading too fast. If I pay for a month, I should be able to access the content whenever I want to, and do it however many times I wish to. The introduction of repetitive grinding like the artisan's workshop and the livid farm, which only add "fake" longevity to the game. Much like these new clan citadels; You grind away for purely cosmetic rewards, and a ring that's barely worth the effort. How much time do you reckon they worked on this?
  8. It's not really playing the game either now, is it? It's not quality content by any means.
  9. Not true. If I wasn't short on content, I'd be playing right now. The quests lately have been short and fruitless, the D&Ds are only done weekly/monthly or not worth doing at all. The last skill updates have been nothing but mindless grinding (Livid farm, lava mining). The last real update we had was the jadinko lair, and before that I can't even remember.
  10. And that is a huge problem. Huge "cosmetic" updates are a waste of development time, and therefore of subscription money. I'd rather see an update with half the shiny stuff and double the actual stuff.
  11. I paid a guy 40k a pop to suicide for me. Smooth and easy.
  12. Why do they keep releasing new skills when the old ones are unbalanced and unfinished?
  13. Excessive grinding for very, very superficial "rewards". Waste of development time and technology, they'd be better off implementing the instancing tech to all minigames and bosses.
  14. It most likely will.
  15. But will it be f2p? I seriously doubt it will.
  16. Why the summ req? It's arbitrary, it has always been.
  17. Some of the rewards seem cool, the quest seems cool too. Graphical updates are not needed and not welcomed by me, they should spend more time developing actual content.
  18. But I'm not a questing hero, I'm a wandering mercenary.
  19. This. We need to start a fund to make those threads a bannable offense.
  20. Advice from somebody frequenting university: If you're in a hard course like engineering, quit runescape now and start studying.
  21. Yeah, this is true. It has happened to me several times over the years. Most of the time, I come back when there is a good amount of good updates that I haven't tried yet.
  22. And I'd vote all over again. Freedom comes at a price, but I'm not about to let myself get bothered by bots or... *gasp* LOW PRICES!!!
