Yeah and don't forget to unlock lodestones at your convenience too for free teleports. Spiders are pretty good, but Slayer is probably your best bet if you're doing that anyway and have a decent level. That way you get another skill trained for free in the process :P.

Well, RS Wiki states "Mithril arrows were originally members-only items. This has since been changed by Jagex when they believed that the free to play rangers were not as strong as the two other combat classes" and they seem to be F2P as of mid-2008, so that must have been a long time ago :o.

You can freely switch between Legacy and Evolution of Combat (under settings, in different places depending whether it's Legacy->EoC or vv). Old School is a second, separate game where you have to maintain an active subscription and start over from scratch in stats. You can do this at the OldSchool RuneScape website. Oh it's not just that, the game is definitely easier than when you last played. I play F2P but if you would still like to add me you are welcome to. Welcome back to RS and welcome to TIF! For people to add you, they need your current name, not the original one. That is, they need the name that appears next to your chat whenever you talk in game. Most likely you lost your name because Jagex cleared it to make a bunch of names available for more 'active' players, so they changed your name to a temporary one and made your old one available to someone else, who took it.

They are varying prices due to different effects. Saradomin godsword, for example, heals you occasionally, and is the most expensive (at least last I checked..)

It would be better if it read our minds and the beam shined when we were missing a key and really needed it before searching halfway across the dungeon! :P
