Your staff is charged, right? And what spell are you using? If you're using a very low level spell, for example, you won't hit much - I believe magic weapons only boost your accuracy, for the most part anyway.

I saw a lot of that before dicing/gambling was banned. Their main intention seemed to be gather a crowd, lead them somewhere, do the fake trivia/drop party, and then tell them to join X fc and leave the area to do the next one, hoping that the people there would join it out of boredom or desperation I guess.

I tripped over the sidewalk and fell this morning while running. And that hurt, a lot. Even with gloves/sweatpants, when I examined it later I found out that my hand got skinned a little and both my knees are scraped. I probably won't even bandage it because that tends to make it bleed incessantly from previous experience. After I fell I just got backup and kept running though...

I see no reason why RS can't chug on for a while longer :P. As long as people keep coming back, buying subscriptions, and dropping money on cosmetics they'll get enough revenue to cover it, even if it means cutting some costs and jobs over there.

As far as I was aware it is more of a pain of having to do a couple extra clicks rather than a huge time sink. But it's up to you; spending a few points to skip it once won't kill you (except maybe for your task streak :( )!

If they were going to do that, something like Fletching would seem most logical. While we can smith our own melee weapons and (mostly) craft our own runes, we have no way of making our own arrows! However, making a whole skill F2P seems somewhat unlikely. It could be a consolation prize when (if) they eventually put out another skill though, I suppose.
