EEE
You equip it, hit the special, and then the healing effect begins. You don't need to register a hit, so just switch back to your normal weapon quickly. For the most part, EEE in slayer is useful when a monster damages you at a rate beyond that which your healing familiar can reasonably restore your hp. Waterfiends is a good place, miths as well off the top of my head. Until you get soul split, it's a pretty handy thing to have but you do need to sacrifice a spec weapon (claws/dds). Also, like PereGrin (hey, think I saw you at Kura earlier by the hellhounds ;o) said, it heals off most of your overload damage.

Frosties - mid/low level setup
Also I lack rigour, which is why I never really considered using range as an option. I have the money for SS right now, but not turmoil... I just didn't want to sacrifice piety until I could get 95. Thanks for the tips!

Frosties - mid/low level setup
I'm almost 85 dg and will probably no-life it this weekend, so I thought I'd ask this now to give myself some time to prep up... I was wondering how I would set up at Frosts given my stats (lack of yak, overloads, and turmoil). What kinda inventory/gear would I be looking at for maximum effectiveness? I have access to extremes, rapier, piety, and tort. Obviously, I'm cannoning. Gear: - Neitiz - Proselyte Top + Bottom - Fury - Bgloves - Rapier - Ddef - Zerker - SW Cape - Dboots Also, what's the approx $/hr around my level?

stats/items order
I know this has been brought up a few times, but I hadn't thought about it then so never noted it down. Basically, what's the suggested order of obtaining stats/items? I have extremes banked, but I'm not sure what to do next. I have barely any charms, and I'll have my first chaotic at 85 dg (at which point I will be camping frosties with ext/piety/tort) - Turm - Ovls - uni - Yak - EEE - chaotics I was thinking of maxing melee by taking a maul as my first chaotic and camping waterfiends at ancient cavern, but I'm also considering grabbing a rapier and just picking up whatever charms come by in slayer (since I need plenty of slayer xp as well). My end goal is to max out completely, so somebody in DGS chat had suggested cannoning black demons to get my ranged up but I don't know how this looks in terms of gp/xp total. Wat do? In terms of gear, I've got bandos/fury/zerker and typical other stuff. Aside from that, my main source of cash will be frosties and some merching once I get a decent pile. In terms of my day-to-day combat activities as well as future plans, mainly I just slay and do dungeons in between tasks but eventually I do want to get into serious pvm.

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
I'm still completely new to this clans update, how does the CC work now? I tried joining "DGS" in friends chat and ended up in an empty channel. Does the cc operate entirely as a clan now, meaning I have to pm a rank and then join Dungeonsweepers officially? I'm in Blasphemy already (or soon to be at least), and I assume I can't be in 2 RS-registered clans at the same time so how do I still get in on dungeons? Sorry if these are completely nub questions, I haven't really gotten accustomed to the new system yet lol.

still nub keying :c Tips on how to utilize personal gatestones better? I think I died quite a bit from not being able to get out of angry situations without putting myself 30 rooms back. Also, in what non-gd situations would I place ggs and ask the team to back me up? For example, I ran into a 5 statue room with a shade, a pickaxe, and a giant bat (all 110+ iirc). I asked for ggs tele to get the monsters off me but dunno if I coulda tanked instead to let the rest of the team continue clearing whatever path they were on.

You know what I HATE more than anything in this game?
the community and such may not have changed, but the game certainly has gotten a lot easier over the years... no comment as to whether that makes RS better or worse

PKing on a main
Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool but yeah, if you're intent on using your current account then pretty much the only option you'd have for pking is maxing out :s most pkers out there around your level are specialized builds (at the very least, you'll see a bunch of 94+ magic players due it having very little impact on combat level for a meleer, as well as piety, max strength zerkers, possibly even turm pures), a balanced mid level main setup just can't keep up well enough.

Farming help
Those figures are correct, ignoring boosts. Hunter pots make it technically possible at 71 hunter, as garden pies will allow you to plant ugunes at 67. Of course it's a lot easier to just get them to the actual levels. Construction level is not necessary, but saves you some cash. How long would you say it takes for 80 con to pay for itself? I'm pretty close right now anyways (76).

Farming help
I thought herb habitat required 81 hunter and 80 cons (I don't really want to spend too much money on supplies) :S Thanks for the other tips though!

Farming help
I haven't been doing much active moneymaking the past while and have sort of just been dreamily thinking about getting ovls and turm without actually doing jack about it. Despite the fact that Stringcheze will probably be in this thread soon to tell me to learn how to merch, I'm still interested in getting some stats up while making cash so I've decided to go with farming. I've read Zaaps' farming guide, so I have some idea of how to go about with runs. My question is what herbs I should do for maximum profit. I've heard from some people that ranarrs and toadflaxes are good, snaps for the trollheim patch, others say snaps on every patch because profit still trumps one lost seed, etc. so I have no idea what I should do. Is it worth me boosting - 60 farming - I have scroll of life - I don't have juju pots (should I get these now, later on, or just not bother at all?) Also, what's a good long term plan of action? IE should I do all torstols when I get 85, should I plant trees along the way to speed up my path to torstols because they are that profitable, other such things.

Prayer Flashing...
in essence, not possible? I was looking for answers more along the lines of pro microing techniques
-
Prayer Flashing...
... both skill boosting and protection against something with a different attack speed than you. I tried this the other day and it got so hectic I think I was better off just flashing one prayer. How do?

Cancelling tasks
Is that list only with respect to xp/hr? In terms of money though, aren't spiritual mages actually fairly good cash?

~*Medi's Blog*~ The life of a maxed F2Per. 120 Runecrafting, 1.6b XP - halfway to 200m all F2P!
I can hardly tolerate getting 99s even with p2p training methods. You, sir, are an absolute beast. This is one of the most impressive blogs I've seen in a while, good luck on maxing out!

Tds and Armadyl
don't use kxb at TDs, ccb/rcb are much more effective. Your arma kills are not too bad with your stats, however rigour will drastically improve your results (as well as ccb). If you can afford it, a divine also helps a lot but eeks seems to work fine too. imo Overloads are essential, you could probably see your killcount rise to 20+ with all this

LRC slayer
could you elaborate on this please? Also, I'm only 74 mining so maybe at my levels it's just not worth mining the remains? But yeah I just finished this task and noticed it to be fairly slow (though I did gain 170k atk xp in just over an hour and a half as well as about 40k slayer). Should I block these once I get max melee?

Training agility at lvl 62

Effiency questions
inb4 Grimy gets in here :P pray piety on all tasks, it's worth it and pray pots really are not that costly (I have a 1m cash stack and get along just fine. Don't forget to bring a holy wrench though.) even without prayer boosting gear. You can wear a sw cape over fc, but generally try to wear gear that maximizes atk/str like Bandos. IMO, cannon everything that's cannonable (dags, kalphites, velds, greaters, hellhounds, spectres, black demons etc.). Block stuff that you find really slow, wyverns for example are a pain so yeah it's good that you blocked them. I'm not sure if I would block metals, with your stats maybe (since they're really only fast with rapier/fire surge). Don't block black demons, if you cannon them the charm rate is really pretty solid and they are fairly weak to cannons so you get great xp rates all around. A task of 200+ generally takes about an hour. I also wouldn't block fire giants since they have low defence and in my experience get downed even with just a normal whip setup. As for mage, depending on how much money and time you're willing to spend... bursting rock lobs to 94 and then barraging for charms is not a bad idea, string jewellery is faster but very expensive. Personally I did a mix of stun-alch and surging metals. Also if you just want rc to be done and over with quickly, ZMI is still the fastest method in the game barring 90+ effigying. No idea about herb/rapier, I myself just dung between slayer tasks and slowly try to work towards a rapier :P

Prayer
bones at altar works out to about 1k per hour (so around 250k xp/hr with dragon bones, 630k/hr with frosties) if you use a tort. definitely the most effective/efficient method for training pray
