You spend $200.00 on games!?

Wow, that's incredibly stupid. In nearly all grocery stores in the UK and I believe in the US you are entitled to take things back without specifying a reason; the same is true for clothes shops, technology shops, etcetera. They do this to avoid confrontation with customers, preventing boycotts or people refusing to shop at places. So while you call it stupid, most businesses use the 'Customer is always right' model. -- Archi, I know but some people on the forums definitely were on the subject of boycotting Steam and VALVe products.

Edit: Why...? You're on a Mac. Yeah, that is normally the reason for all my computer-related issues.

Rocco, Its not a philosophical open-ended discussion about what I paid for, if (as a customer) I feel conned then I have been conned no matter how unreasonable I am being.

Importantance of Each Level of Education
Primary school Your SATs results in primary school usually determine what sets you are in in secondary schools, in the UK the results of your SATs would depend whether you went to a grammar school or not however this doesn't happen anymore. If you want to get into a grammar school then the Primary School will play an important part in any tests you do. Secondary School Secondary school is where you can get your GCSEs, if you get A*-C or A*-B grades they can make a huge impact on what courses you are allowed to do and what sixth form you can go to. Secondary school is the second most important as it is what decides what you will specialise in. Sixth Form/College This is the most important, many people choose to get a job after this. If you fail at this you won't get into university or be able to do important further courses. This is sort of like a weak-spot in a building. University This will reap the most rewards but it will have a lower risk then sixth form/college.

You can still craft untradeable items, or craft any duplicates you get. Free weapons are free weapons  http://steamcommunity.com/id/a-local-guy Bear in mind that it crafting untradeable items results in more untradeable items. Edit: that only matters for premium members.
-
The Back Room
I don't see how its possible, premium players can't trade with free players.

Achievements in team fortress 2 are a pretty much useless, yes you get an untradeable weapon if you complete enough achievements but the drop rate of those weapons is higher then the time taken to actually complete those achievements.

[hide=Wyvren] [/hide] -- Rocco, I didn't pay for a free game, when I paid for the game I didn't expect to be conned out of the money. I've been conned out of £13.95, although I think its reasonable to make the game free to play I just think that they should give a reasonable reward to people who actually paid the full price for it, a hat that I personally dislike isn't good enough. More premium content, less free content.
-
The Back Room
Yes, sorry I was incorrect. Still, a mediocre hat isn't enough. Premium players should get far more customisation options; for there weapons, for there hats, for everything.
-
The Back Room
I have recieved the proof of purchase its just that its a bit ridiculous that somebody can make a £1.29 purchase to get that hat as well! Making it permenantly free to play is only going to to give negative results.
-
The Back Room
No, because they got the game that I paid £13.99 for free. I don't care whether I get items that show up in the inventory (to me only) as blue, I don't care if I get a hat that can got to other players anyway from buying something cheap in the Mann-Co store. We should get something that isn't [cabbage] but hey, theres nothing I can do about it.

Freeloading tf2 players should be forced to wear identifying features and be sent to special 'server relocation camps'. Concept art for free tf2 players: [hide] [/hide]

Glory Days.
I'd rather IRC personally. Also, I am a character but I don't have a name yet because I want it to be a good name.

[TF2] It's MANN Vs. Machine!
They'll do what they did last time: pretend to ignore the Engineer then a month or two later they'll release a MASSIVE update for the engineer (and other underlooked classes) and that will be the only update for the engineer in the next year or so.

Oh, I thought that meant that the police or where you live had imposed on on you. Not your parents.

First of all, a curfew means being out on the streets: being in your own home is okay. Second, why on EARTH do you have a curfew!?

2070 Hegemony
Mather is removed from office and the Christian Empire takes over the Islamic Empire. There non-crazy psychopathic leader is loved by all the people (+1000 manpower bonus).
-
2070 Hegemony
The Christian Empire is shocked at how the Islamic leader can think of such atrocious things.

The new spy gun is bloody awesome! Best stats ever :P

I personally would work out the average army of all players then divide that by the average number of provinces, that number would then be multiplied by the number of provinces and so thus all provinces would be equal to the average player in this game (and it would mean that you wouldn't add armies to cope with aggresiveness or attempting to equal the player) Its the only fair way, giving enemys a bonus if they don't stand a chance against a player isn't very fun or fair.
