  1. My data for equilibrium: Slice with dual bronze scims: 128 hits, min hit 92, max hit 274. Between 40% and 125% of max hit. Slice with dual bronze scims and equilibrium: 52 hits, min hit 136, max hit 226. Between 52% and 93% of max hit So the min hit is (Max hit)*(ability min percent)*1.25 and max hit is (Max hit)*(ability max percent)*0.75 Let Y be your max hit, M be the ability max percent and m be the ability min percent Without equilibrium your average hit is (Ym+YM)/2 With equilibrium your average hit is (1.25Ym+0.75YM)/2 If not using equilibrium is better then (Ym+YM)/2 > (1.25Ym+0.75YM)/2 m+M> 1.25m+0.75M 0.25M>0.25m M>m obviously M is bigger than m which means you should never use equilibrium Yay maths! Edit: I guess it's still worth using if you're killing young grotworms or something else with really low hp. No idea how much it would help or hinder you if you are using momentum.
  2. Well it gives you more armour bonus than void. Hybrid might be useful at Slayer if you don't just melee everything. But not like you need more armour except at Black Demons if you cannon them... Plus it is hybrid not power so you miss out on void boost... And nothing really attacks with multiple types plus there are better choices.... So.. Fashion scape Some people argue that it's better to slay in hybrid because you minimise banking time between slayer tasks. Ideally for slayer you would be wearing power armour, so bandos/subj/arma. The only switch you need to make is the body and top due to the fact that those are the only slots that affect accuracy. You can keep whatever boots/gloves you're wearing for any slayer task (since defence is of no issue). I am quite certain that the 2 seconds it takes for you to switch body and top is worth the bonus damage given from the power armour. Although before the power armour update, you would just slay in void to minimise bank-time. The only thing you would bank for is for pots and a change in weaponry. Oh yes I was thinking of efficiency experts wearing void for armour but I forgot that was before some armours had offensive bonuses

  4. Any reason why? I wasn't paying attention to where it should go just the shape, but now that I look at it I think being 1 south would be best, it's better if the jadinkos have less space to wander in.
  5. This 1 was in drowns' vid. Mish says it's the Crystalfarm setup. I think in theory it would be better than the X setup http://puu.sh/3O4Wu.jpg
  6. There is now a pause between closing your bank and being able to use items in your inventory so bank skills will be slower.
  7. How long ago did we get spanish worlds? I've been living in my parents basement under a rock.
  8. Nice to see you again :)

  9. I think you mean "Zarfot's strategy was to never play with the intent of waiting for updates" what you wrote looks like "Zarfot never had the strategy to play with the intent of waiting for updates" Here's Zarfot's quitting post which should clear up why he quit
  10. Curious, what's driving this reversal in scrims? Before everything except vamp and maybe cruelty was basically worthless, now the combat ones are 1m each? Are they still 1m each? I guess Vorago has caused this? I am also curious about this
  11. Yes it is far better. Larger, quicker, smarter, cheaper, harder, better, faster, stronger than other kalphites.
  12. And get put at the bottom rank for your 200m skills like bu11 was.
  13. You can use summoning potions to renew familiar spec so you can bank more bones while you're there
  14. Wow you're really susceptible to trolling if a random number generator can get you mad
  15. I wish I could sell my spins. I have 50 from doing daily challenges sitting waiting to be used. That is stupid, if there also had to be sale of the real world service then that would be like paying a youtuber rsgp in order for him to sell you a shoutout for dollars. Why would the rule require a player to pay the youtuber in both currencies?
  16. Some people have gotten manually reviewed and unbanned and then the system bans them again.
  17. I think ports is overlooked as a way to gain experience. If you spend 3 mins sending out a voyage for 15k xp that's 300k/hour. I've never done an xp mission so i don't know if the reward is a chosen skill or if its specific to the adventurer.
  18. If you need help with the programming (like, if you want it in a real language and not python) you know who to ask Why, Thai? Well the calculation of attack and defence ratings is the hardest part. We have no idea what turmoil does. As for max hit did anyone confirm that each potion boosted level is +10 damage? But do you really need to make a simulator when you would be able to calculate it once you have it all figured out? Overkill is the only reason you'd need to simulate it.
  19. Level 2000 ferret of doom Massacre is next best. Good luck writing a simulator, we're missing a lot of information on max hits but this ability research is a big step forward. Unload is average 1.0055 damage per tick, deadshot is 0.95875 damage per tick Death's swiftness does its AoE attack up to 5 times and is between 10% and 20% of max. It boosts damage by 50% and stacks with ability boosts. It takes 3 ticks to activate and lasts for 16 ticks. Consider 2 cases when ranging for 16 ticks. Suppose your normal damage per tick is d, having a higher damage per tick favours deaths swiftness so assume the worse case scenario where all the abilities you normally use are only as good as piercing shot. Piercing shot has a min hit of 40% and max of 125% which is average 0.275 damage per tick. I'll assume deaths swiftness doesn't stack with abilities like berserk does because it makes the comparison simpler. Case 1. If you used unload for 6 ticks and then used something else for 10 ticks you would do 1.0055*6+10d= 6.033+10d damage over 16 ticks Case 2. If you used deaths swiftness then assuming all N targets stay in the shroud you get 0.75N damage for the aoe, after spending 3 ticks activating deaths swiftness in your remaining 13 ticks you do 13d damage Death's swiftness is better if 6.033+10d<0.75N+13d 2.011-0.25N<d A high value of d favours death's swiftness, d peaks at around 0.4 for basics 2.011-0.25N<0.4 1.611<0.25N 6.444<N In the best circumstances you need 6.444 monsters around you taking the AoE damage in order for death's swiftness to be better than unload. My assumption that death's swiftness does not stack like berserk would also favour death's swiftness in the comparison so the result is still solid.
  20. Lol Thai Sedai! This is the first result for Thai Sedai http://puu.sh/3FV1V.jpg I like it. On topic, berserk is always better than other ultimates.
  21. Congratulations JD! Rumour has it he bought spins for slayer, hence why he has not gained any hitpoints xp recently.
  22. Thank you for mentioning the long term goals and limiting factors. Many efficiency fanatics completely ignore that and are narrow minded about these things.
