Indeed :) ty everyone for your replies =D I myself have a whole new appreciation for 99 slayers. I think the thing that really makes me go WOW is the time factor and the amount of monsters you have to slay in the end for the cape :shock: but I think it was worth it ;P :mrgreen: plus if a high level monster comes out, I no longer have to rush through the levels to kill it :lol:

Is it me or do the boots look really weird :? and the d med kindo looks like red jelly :D yum. I wonder what armour is gonna look like in there. Graphics can effect market value big time. Who knows, 3rd age might look bad :o atleast I hope for my sake lol because I wanted full 3a melee by the time I got my slayer cape but it's never gonna happen because of the "must add 3a mage" rule #-o

And it's been going on for more than 6 weeks. So if you times 50 by 42 days you get 2,100 Don't be rude next time :shame: , thanks. And nice idea Vincent :D

I donate money all the time to the fally party room, especially if I get a nice drop. Once I donated 4M and the very next day my picture was published in the gallery :D so it does come back tenfold ;)

Basically buying something and turning it into another item worth A LOT more than the first, thus creating junk. For example, shells and snelms. Previously some shells were about 1K each, now the crafted version of that shell is a snelm, and usually no one ever bought them. They were worth around 2K each, so by crafting the shell into a snelm it would create 1K worth of junk. Now because you don't fail crafting them much with a decent crafting level, people were creating 100K+ worth of junk easily. Obviously people caught onto it and the snelms dropped rapidly because people were trying to sell them ASAP, now that shell>snelm junk thing doesn't work and people move onto a different item. Kindo like playing hot potato :lol:

Good Lord, son. Jagex does not control the prices, PLAYERS DO. The reason price floors don't disappear is because Jagex set parameters for player transactions to change the pricing. I guess I didn't make my message clear :-k Yes players control the PRICES, BUT not the market *in general* - it's not like we have FULL control. I see players wanting to sell half wine for 10M, I'd love to buy them, but it ain't gonna happen because the price is stuck in the grand exchange. The only way to do that trade would be by me adding junk - and I don't exactly have that much expensive junk. Not only that, but we don't exactly get to buy the amount of things we want either. Take for example, runes. We can only buy what.. 25K MAX per 4 hours or something rediculous. So yes Jagex DO control most of the market with the 5% restriction and limited buying/selling and if that ain't controlling a market to some extent, I don't know what is. Either way, it is more controlled today than when we could sell anything for any price last year - THAT'S FOR SURE!

The way I see it is, since Jagex basically controls most of the market now, players have had to resort to junk trading to get the price that it SHOULD have been (because of the 5% higher/lower restrictions) A shame that I can't get full 3a melee now because of it though :cry: I want the set by the time I get 99 slayer - which is really soon - so there goes that plan :lol:

Home/falador/ardougne/seers etc teles. very nice, got a pair myself 11 minutes after i got 72 slayer Nice :o and I have those runes coz dust runes are only like 11gp each and they're a combined earth and air rune which is REALLY cheap =D so I don't use air runes anymore :lol: also with dusts, waters and laws I can do ardougne tele, fally tele, house tele, lumbridge tele, cammy tele - basically the only teleports I need for slayer tasks and it saves me 1 slot and a ton of GP :D

Top 5 in my books: Slayer - takes FOREVER and you kill atleast 100K monsters in the process, not even mentioning time to bank, get tasks, get certain equipment, teleport etc. Prayer - not only does it cost atleast 80M, but you also have to then gild-altar atleast 40K dragon bones with I don't know how many hundred thousand clicks. I tried my best but managed to bury 16 bones in the process towards 99 prayer myself. Runecraft - takes long also, but is much faster than slayer - especially if you enjoy this skill. It's also doesn't cost 80M++ to get to 99 which is another reason why I think it should be rank 3. Agility - Can't buy a cent of exp, takes forever, is extremely boring, but shows how determined you are to get through tons of painstakingly long hours of running around in circles for it. Mining - this also takes forever and it's truly one of the hardest 99s out there. Those are the top 5 I reckon. You can disagree with me but you know i'm right :lol:

Not much money but still better than nothing =D guess it pays for all those pray pots I bought for dark beast tasks :lol: So anyways.. after like.. 600 wyverns I finally got a pair on a slayer task o_O got it on the 4th of the 71 that I was assigned. Sorry you feel that way :( Since the 15th of April i've disconnected just over 2,100 times and believe me I know annoying it is. Infact several times i've wanted to quit because it drove me nutty, but it turns out to be jagex's servers from one of the RSOF tech forum stickies - turns out I have to wait a week for Mod Trons response on it but until then I have to keep disconnecting every few seconds/minutes. My goal was 99 slayer and so far I haven't let the disconnections get in my way of reaching that goal. I'm now currently 220k away from 99 slayer and no matter how many disconnects I get i'm gonna get it. So don't give up on your goal man, we all lose money, heck, i've lost 60M in the last few months from grand exchange =( but the truth is we can make money back - in time. I hope you don't quit. ~triq~

Firemaking - no use really, most levels are just used as requirements in quests nowadays :x Farming - love the trim of the cape, but it absolutely bores me to death. Yes you don't have to wait and such, but surely there's a more fun way of training it o_O it's very profitable I must say, but still, I don't like waiting to pick money from trees :lol: Hunter - mainly coz it's always crowded and it's so repetitive - lay down box, wait for animal to go in, pick up, reset.. ARGHHH :wall: Mining - I could live without mining, to make it a skill I couldn't live without, it would have to be setup in the way that woodcutting works - where you click on one tree, and it cuts several logs. with mining you should be able to click on one rock and mine several of them, otherwise it takes too long to make money. Well there's more than 1 skill I could live without lol :mrgreen:

I like the colours, the online/offline button that appears next to peoples usernames, and the tipit logo at the top with the "log out, 0 new messages, FAQ, search, members, user control panel and view your posts" thing there, but I don't think I could get used to the skin itself, I still prefer the older tipit skin, but with what I mentioned just now, in it :mrgreen: Loving the tan/blue/stone colours theme btw :D Edit: I like the subsilver2 skin but with the tipit logo and colour theme (blue/tan/stone colours) from this skin.
