Well the way I see it, the dragon slayer quest gave us the ability to wear the rune plate, and since the J mod hinted a dragon slayer 2 quest, it makes sense that the quest will give us the ability to wear the dragon plate, and i'm guessing the *sailing* skill will be released around about the time the dragon plate comes out.

You can give updates to F2P, but not giving "The" update is kinda disappointing. But to be honest if F2P don't get full screen and so on, i won't get angry. But more disappointed, it's a update that makes the game more enjoyable and i can safely say that everyone agrees. Some people don't like this and that update, but "The" update is liked by a big number. Okay i understand what you're saying. But i don't consider full screen as a graphical update. I agree that F2p will probabaly get the HD graphics but not the full screen. Full screen is not a graphical update, it's an addition. Therefore that argument doesn't make much sense. I really am doubting if F2P will get full screen, and as you said that it may be it. But i don't recall from any game, that there was restrictions to full screen or any graphical additions. So your argument woulden't make much sense to other games, but unfortunately i am pretty sure Jagex will go for your favour. But ill wait for offical statement from jagex, until then ill wait for better arguments. I agree, some updates they DO need because it effects all of us, like the grand exchange, and I think it was good that they got the party room too as that is a big part of RS, I guess I just hate it when they ask for more things because they're not supporting Jagex and the updates. I understand where you're coming from :D I also think they'll get the graphics, but I don't understand how they're allowed full screen (heard somewhere they are getting it for sure) when they need to have the advertisements so Jagex get supported by them, unless of course the full screen mode has advertisements on it but I don't think that'll happen :? :pray:

No pay = no updates Atleast that's what I think anyway. But as more updates have become F2P they've now come to EXPECT them, so I think jagex should tone it down a bit, like my parents have noticed with their business, they give lollies/chocolates to customers in their envelopes with their bills so they can have a treat while paying us, but as soon as summer came and chocolates started melting and lollies were getting sticky, we stopped, and we got angry customers, some even QUITTING because of it. Now that is just rediculous, you see, customers QUITTING because they don't get their lolly? How SAD is that. The same applies to the staff too, now bosses don't HAVE to give their staff presents for their birthday, or a jet-ski ride with fish and chips as a treat every Friday, but my mum and dad do those things - and now they've come to EXPECT it, not taking into account the money for petrol, fish and chips and birthday presents (usually cologne which costs my mum about $120 per staff member) I think you get my point. You give them an update, they complain and ask for more. NO PAY = NO UPDATES. It's only fair. If I were to ever become F2P again, and we got an update, I wouldn't complain for more, in fact i'd be glad to even get ONE because I wouldn't be paying for anything! Well, atleast you'd think people would think that way, but most don't :roll:

Yay another Runescape bashing thread *note the sarcasm* did you ever think for a split second that Jagex have done extremely well to make graphics like this with JAVA? Basically a program that make games that look so pixellated it's not even funny, so to make Runescape with graphics like this, is an extreme accomplishment. So it's unfair to compare it to other games like WOW and Guild Wars with better graphics that don't use JAVA, when they use JAVA, THEN you can be allowed to bash RS mmk. :shame:

It's always been like that, it SHOULDN'T be like that, but it is =( who knows, maybe if Jagex are feeling nice one day they'll change it \ but I wouldn't count my chickens just yet -.-

Meh, giant spiders with cheap arrows is a really good way for me, 30k - 45k exp an hour ain't bad at all considering you use cheap arrows and all you have to watch out for is your health \ now to sell the 8k red chins I got from a trade -.- no wonder he was eager to get rid of them lol :lol:

I think most armour and weapons need A LOT of changing. There are some that look really good and don't need changing however, like void knight robes, dragon scimitar, dragon 2h sword etc. The scenery definitely needs no changing, they got that pretty much perfect. The only downside i'd say with that is the lighting, I went to abby demons and when I look at a certain angle, basically my whole character goes black and I can't even see my cape =[ needs fixing but it's still in BETA so that's why, and I hope they fix that o_O I love the new dance emote, much more energetic lol :lol: and the jig emote is really irish me thinks \

I used to respect Jagex a lot until one day there was this sexually offensive image on the rs main page, so I reported it and they gave a reply basically saying other players like visiting those sites so they're probably not going to remove it but they'll think about it (which always means no) I then got sick and tired of them and their broken promises and delaying tactics with the recent lag and disconnection problems for many players across the world with runescape. I, myself, was effected by it and i've currently had more than 2.1K disconnections (50+ a day for the last few months) and no i'm not exaggerating, I wish I could say I was but I counted them. In 1 hour 39 minutes I got 25 disconnects. Times that by 2 and you have atleast 50 disconnects a day. I've never experienced disconnecting like this before, I only used to disconnect about twice a year, if that. Now to my point... A few months back jagex made a sticky in the tech support forum called "RAM/DRAIN CONNECTION LOSS PT2". On page 88 of the 91 pages, A jagex mod, who i'm not going to name, *promised* us the results by Friday the 20th of June (which was 11 days ago) and has asked for our system specs YET AGAIN when they already had them for months saying they know what the problem is and that they'll give us the results on Friday the 20th. They then HID the sticky so us, the enfuriated players wanting to know the results, couldn't REFER BACK to their promise that they broke! Sneaky jagex, VERY VERY sneaky. I never used to be angry with jagex but after the above points, I can see why people get frustrated with them. They better fix it with this graphic update or else they'll soon find themselves with less members until it IS fixed :evil: P.S. If you look at the suggestions forum, in particular the stickified post, you'll see even the suggestions they thought were GOOD, are NEVER implemented. You could say that's the reason I don't suggest things to them anymore, it's useless. Also with the -new weapons/armour- sticky, jagex hasn't even updated the list for 1,720 posts! One last thing, they cater to the noobies too much, they need more high level updates like what they did last year with the DFH, DFS, GWD etc. where they came out with a TON of high level stuff all in one whole go :D

Jagex better upgrade the game engine to decrease the lag/disconnections many players are having or I feel they're gonna get less members soon until they fix it. I disconnect 50+ times a day now. I even recorded it. 25 disconnections in 1 hour, 39 minutes. Times that by two and you have atleast 50 disconnects a day. I've had eye twitches for the last 2 weeks because it's stressing the *enter bad word here* outta me. If nothing's being done about it soon, i'm cancelling membership till they get off their backsides and do something about it. Right now, I would rather wish Jagex to stop the lag and disconnections going on and let me play freely than to have improved pixels. That is how bad the situation is right now. And no i'm not exaggerting about the 50 disconnections a day either :roll: I wish I could say I was :cry: And for future remarks saying it's just me or my computer, no, it's not just me, check the tech support forum on the RS forums, you'll see why. At first they had a stickified post named "RAM/DRAIN CONNECTION LOSS PT2." they then asked for system specs from everyone. They got them and said they were going to talk to the tech team about it. They then came back a few months later saying they'll have the results by Friday the 20th of June, which was EIGHT days ago. So after their broken promise and delaying tactics, it better be resolved with this graphics update or they'll have hell to pay from me :evil:

Yes that struck me too as a bit odd, considering the suspected dragon platebody pic was found recently. But what I don't get is the fact that we've seen the *supposed* d plate and not a d kite pic yet, and you'd think the d kite would be released before the d plate coz plates are more than kites in most cases, and rune dragons would not be released before addy dragons lol :-k Maybe jagex will surprise us and release them both at the same time =P~

Yea i've dumped all the stuff needed to do clues (watch, sextant, chart) and I keep a clue in my bank so I never get them as drops anymore. I'm not exactly the lucky guy when it comes to clues either, my best item was zammy kite (when it was worth 1M) and that was from my first clue ever. I probably did 250 more to find nothing but the usual odd bit of rune and god page here and there. I'd probably never get any 3rd age or TT masks/top hats/canes etc. so i've given up on clues forever.

Yea it's not offensive, but it is SPAM. If you're trying to buy something at the G.E. and the mob of angry old wild pkers come in spamming @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@, you'll see why it's reportable - because your message disappears faster than you can say *wtf stop spamming*.

I like the scenery and all, not sure about some armour though, like the boots =l they look TOO bevelled, but we'll have to see \

scabarites (multi way combat with overpowered mages, rangers and melee'ers) kalphites (always crowded, too many assigned, and are a pain to kill) warped terrorbirds (nice drops but they hit too hard even with range pray on and it's frustrating using the chimes on them everytime just to attack it) greater demons (always crowded and too far away anyway)
