  1. i love agility, i just don't like training it as going round in circles (ape atoll) drives me insane, brimhaven is slightly more fun, but i'd still like to see a better course
  2. For your information this is the first rant i've ever had about a minigame, and this topic should be closed, all it's doing now is creating unnecessary spam and flame wars - thanks to the people that actually had a brain and were sensible about this topic.
  3. agility, prayer, herblore, runecraft, mining and farming are the ones I respect the most, especially agility as you can't buy a single exp, it's ALL 100% effort. runecraft takes 4eva, same as mining and farming, and herblore costs alot of time and money also.
  4. abby demons, they're 600 exp (total) per kill, can drop whip, and other drops add up like pure ess, chaos and bloods
  5.
  6. my friend was at fight pits, he pile-jumped me after he told me he deleted me. :?
  7. finally some great posts ^_^ I guess I just hate the fact that playing fairly and honourably sometimes isn't always that way to win fight pits, so i'm not going to play it anymore, i wouldn't be able to handle backstabbing, it's just not my thing.
  8. now we're getting somewhere ^_^ my friend said something along the lines of: there's invisible rules in fight pits, you just have to know when to follow them and when to discard them
  9. ^^ first sensible and agreeable post
  10. k thanks for the shoot down guys, really appreciate it, now mods can you please close this it's just going to end in spam, spam, and.. spam
  11. k.. and btw soma, like I said, I realize it's free-for-all/multi-combat bla bla bla but I don't think you realize what i'm saying. It's not the fact that people are pj'ing me, it's the fact that when you join a team, and you trust them and they trust you, word for word, for them to do a complete 180 degree turn, pile you and take you off friends list - it kind of gives you a reality check that games like that bring out the worst in people. and also - a leader isn't meant to have eating, pile-jumping 1 on 1's and backstabbing qualities as far as I remember.
  12. I realise it's multi-combat, I thought atleast everyone would play fairly though.. silly me.. can only trust yourself I guess.. it's just really depressing to see how many untrustworthy and deceitful people there are and the things they do for pixels.
  13. Today I got bored of training prayer, so I bought full dharoks and headed off to fight pits to have some fun. Now I like playing games fairly, however every world I hopped to was just full of backstabbing, eating, pile jumping cheaters. My first game was in world 2, where someone like 1stryder or something in full veracs became leader. I respected him, and everything seemed to be going well, until a 1 on 1 happened, the guy on low hp in full dharoks was nearly dead, but instead of letting him finish and possibly defeating the other guy, stryder decided to pile him with his team. Now if that were me, personally I wouldn't interfere. So after I vented my frustration saying that he piled him, he decided to hate me, and sent his team of gullable stryder-followers to pile me. I ended up hopping worlds because of this insane array of piling, eating, backstabbing, cheating frenzy. So then I come to the next fullest world, world 18. To my surprize I find bequai, one of my friends, thinking there's actually hope of him becoming a team, I look at my friends list and he's not on, (Hasn't been on for ages) so I asked him if he deleted me. He just replies "Yea". Great! Why not.. and to top it all off, they all pile me at the start. I'm over fight pits. Jagex shouldn't have brought it out, it brings out the worst in everyone, and just shows how many people don't play fairly. Am I the only way that feels like this towards fight pits?
  14. i'd make gem augmentations that could be attached to weapons and armour, only attainable from level 300 bosses (e.g. lava elemental boss, ice elemental boss etc.) that give additional boost like berserker ring etc.
  15. here's 2 of my favourite outfits =] 1st choice: here we have cooking gaunts (can swap to white gloves instead of cooking gaunts), desert boots, white plate, white legs, white magic staff, white sq shield, legends cape (don't have to use legends cape) and long white hair to finish this gandalf - the white kind of outfit ^_^ 2nd choice: here we have one of my favourite outfits, the holy mage ^_^ same as last pic, just robe top and robe bottom instead of white plate and legs
  16. people always ask that half full or half empty glass question.. they always get it wrong.. answer: it is obviously both :-w
  17. trustworthy loyal respectful popular skills - depending on what they are (e.g. runecraft, takes lots of determination, agility takes lots of effort etc. etc.) courage honour those are what i think makes a gr8 person the best player i think in rs is cyrano74 (no not because of his/her skills) he/she helped me in wildy by giving me food after escaping from a dds guy wanting my food at wildy agility course from another world. he/she didn't have to and could have killed me to get rid of me (pkers usually love killing people with nothing on  ) but cyrano didn't do that, and gave me food which was really nice of him/her.
  18. i got one, don't know how but i tried appealing it woteva it was, and it said i couldn't.. o well  only way i'm not thinking about it is by getting on with life. it's like if u get scammed, cry/moan/vent etc. and then get over it. it's like one time i got scammed 2m from guthan trade, the nub put 2 skirts in, took away helm. I was so angry I merchanted my (you know what) off and ended up making 3M ontop of the 2M that i lost.
  19. just got it, ain't that great
  20. they hit flippin hard.. max hit 9 jeez.. ran outta food already, going to bank
  21. im killing em, so far: 1 raw shark (unnoted) coins water runes (10) blood runes (4) and the nearest bank is the fairy ring just south of the windswept tree max hit is 9
  22. knowing how jagex loves to nerf things  , i'd say it's a high possibility that you're correct :-w
  23. excellent answer  +1 to that ^_^
  24. and the rest... :-w i think agility's becoming more popular because of a) the recently added new course that people want to try out, B) the emote is 0wnage (yes, even i think it's better than prayer emote), c) agility is one of the less popular high level skills, i mean, i'm level 86 agility and ranked less than 900 in it i also went from around 890 to rank 937 in 4 days from being on holiday, so people are obviously wanting to stay under a certain rank bracket such as 1000 etc. because it's pretty impressive on people's hiscores. i for one have always loved agility as my favourite skill, it's saved me many times in the wilderness, including an incident where i was being a smart alec and teleported to ice plateau with defence cape and dds to explore, wen a person beside me moved where i clicked. i ended up with a skull and having to run away - it was either my dds or defence cape, didn't want to give up either of em ;) luckily i didn't get poisoned, and managed to run into the wildy agility course, and luckily, he didn't have the required agility level to enter (lol :P) hopped worlds, waited 20 mins and was safe =) also i once was training at wildy agility course wen a dds guy asked me if i had any food, i said i had cakes, he used all dds specs on me, i managed to get away and hop worlds to where cyrano74 was where he/she gave me 6 swordfish (will always remember that :P) i thought i was doomed as there were many high levels there, but they just wanted to train just as i wanted to =p not to mention the shortcuts that agility gives me, including blue drags, the elven cliff shortcut etc. etc. and the energy restoration is pretty fast =]
  25. +1 i train at ape atoll now just because it's faster exp, here's wot i think: ape atoll: upside = fastest agility exp in game (yes even faster than the dorgesh-khan one, downside = extremely boring, no one to talk to. brimhaven agility arena: upside = people there to talk to, downside = slower exp than ape atoll and dorgesh-khan the only reason i'm training at ape atoll is purely faster exp, if there was a more fun way of training agility, with many people to talk to, it would be much easier, but i'm going through the boredom path to 99, and the stupid thing is, with every agility level i gain, i can't see any difference, because i dont fail in ape atoll, and so every level isn't really that special :( if only it was like ape atoll + brimhaven combined :-k \ p.s. i'm 85 agility :-w
