99 hp achieved, woop!

So essentially making unf pots before the weekend and then adding secondaries is the best bet for the weekend it seems? Thanks for the replies

1.) Correct me if i'm wrong, but making wfv + herb -> unf pot gives non exp whereas unf pot + secondry -> fin pot gives most/all of the exp. Would this mean that it would make sense before the weekend to make all of the unf pots and then during the bonus exp just add the secondary for max exp? 2.) What's the deal with prayer? Last bonus weekend it was not bonus-able (for lack of a better word), presuming it will be this case again meanign training prayer seemes pointless during this weekend? 3.) Last bonus weekend, the multiplier went from 250% -> 110% and then constant at 110% for the remainder of the weekend I think. Would it mean then that it would be sensible to not train summoning until the multiplier is already at 110% at which point there will be no difference in bonus exp over the weekend. 4.) Do brawling gloves stack with the bonus multiplier? Or did they last time? Thanks for your replies!

I consider myself almost a maxed range tank. First I got 70 att and str, making myself melee based, then proceeded to get 99 mage via fire wave on defensive casting and 99 range via chinning. After this, I began the long road slaying using melee with a whip to train defence. Just make sure you constantly use pure super sets whenever training melee as with low att and str it will take longer. I am almost 99 hp/constitution as well which will make me 106 combat (f2p/pvp). I trained defence during slayer as it's not much more/less exp/hr than camping at somewhere but far less money. Now I almost have maxed range/mage/def/hp I will level prayer to 92 making me only 109 combat and able to gain 11 att or str levels before leveling, I presume i'd then get 75 att for SoL. Training defence with lower melee stats is a pain, however, it's not too bad, and deffo worth it. Any questions, feel free to add me ingame and i'll try to help. RSN: Print credit

Good question... ummm.. I don't really like mining? As you can see it was once my highest skill and then I decided I didn't enjoy it. I'll take it up again one day :)

EDIT: 99 hp achieved 04/09/2010 115 combat, and a current BoB for you: Have all kinds of other stuff but didn't see the necessity of including them, I imagine i'm just over 100m Just got 99 defence today, up next is 99 hp (EDIT: Done!) before getting 92 prayer. My current plan is to solo/due/trio arma for a while, pk and slayer to get cash for prayer or mess around with the new clue rewards whenever they come out. After this is to get all stats 70+ plus which shouldn't take too long. I've played for about 7+ years on and off, I don't play particularly much, here's the earliest picture of my character I could find, 17th December 2003: The next picture I could find was of 96 mage, don't know what happened to 99 but it was probably around about there somewhere, March 3rd 2007: Next was 99 Range, August 8th 2008: As can be seen, a lot of my non combats haven't changed in abotu 2-3 years, oops? My stats at the moment are probably quite range-tank based. Essentially keep attack and strength as low as possible and get range and defence as high as possible. At my level (or at 99 range/defence/hp/mage) you can level attack and strength upto level 75 without gaining any combat levels which is useful for pking. For me, range tanks work in many situations and can make money pretty well. Anymore questions or anything in more detail, i'll check back later to answer anything else.

Hi all, Firstly i'll point out that I haven't ever really pked before, but i'm now getting so I thought I may start messing around pking So, as you can see in my stats, my levels are: 99 Range 99 Mage 97 HP 97 Defence Combat level 105 (that's ignoring summoning obviously) So, main questions are concerning: Equipment - Ideally not too expensive as I forsee my self dying a fair bit and although I have a good enoguh cash pile, don't really want to spend it all, for now we'll say I have give or take 5m to spend on stuff. I'd like to buy a few sets so it doesn't matter if I die. - I was thinking somethign along the lines of: Rune skirt, black d hide top, accumulator, snake skin boots, rune xbow, rune kite, archers helm, glory, diamond (e) bolts Where to pk - I was presuming running around Varrock? Food - to use sharks/monkfish or sara brews or both. Range pot obviously and probably sup def but anything else? I have access to most usefult things, the only thing I don't have is lunar magics so no Vengance for me, although I can be pursuaded to get it if it seems a necessity? Any other pointers will be gladly recieved! Thanks for your time

This is what I did to get 99 mage from about your level or a bit lower, I used fire wave and started before visages were released, in about 100k fire waves I got 2 dragon skirts...Ouch.... Still fun though :)

I wrote the guide for chinning mummies, and I would strongly advise to chin at ape atoll. The only reason I chinned at mummies and consequently wrote a guide about it was that an update temporarily nerfed ape atoll however that was resolved. So yeah, I'd chin at ape atoll and if you're worried about dying then wear a ring of life.

Use them for range then sell the rest for money for whatever skill you wish. You should have quite a few left over and 99 range is useful to make more money off at bosses.

Think my plan is going to be. 53rc->75rc 93def->96def etc. Bit of each.. And with that in mind, Thanks for all your help!

It's not really the AFK-ability of something, it's more about the speed, so for example, as far as I can see for melee monkey skeletons just edge armoured zombies (I think) but for rcing I really don't know the route to take, i'm only 53 rc at the moment but plan to hit it hard if I go for it, just how is the problem... What about GOP? I'll read up on that then see what i'll do..

The first point is very true, it may seem like that however after playing for around 6 years i've got a bit bored with it all and maybe grinding a skill and aiming for somethign might give me some incentive to aim for and it'll mean i'll actually get something done rather than just: -log on -look at bank -sell something -buy something -log off Yeah... Also, forgot to mention (but now edited into my first post) I don't have piety unlocked and don't plan to as if I do, the exp reward will tip me out of 70 att and str which for the time being I don't want to do, however, I didn't realise the melee exp was quite so high, might look into that... So, after playing for the last few months after coming back i'm bored again, soloing sara got screwed so I didn't know what to do, so.... I decided i'd grind a skill for a while seeing how I haven't done it since 80,000 Fire Waves (or so) for 99 mage over a year ago. So, I decided i'd go for either 91 rc or 99 def. -Both require 5.7m exp (give or take 100k exp either way) from current levels. -Both will be repetitive and boring -Both will take a long time -Both up to the level won't make or break too much cash (as far as I can tell) However: 99 def: -Another step closer to maxing tank stats -I'm a 'defnub' -Can do it whilst watching films at either of a choice of spots -I don't have piety unlocked and don't plan to for the time being as it'll tip me out of 70 att/str and for the time being i'm happy with them there 91 rc: -Will be a nice bread-and-honey maker -Think I have to pay more attention to level.. So, help me make choices! -What's the xp/hr for either of these? -Bear in mind my attack and strength are only 70 (tanking) -I am only 53 rc at the moment, so what route do I take to level it up? -Best places for doing either of these? -Money I can expect to gain/lose on the route? -These will both take me a logn time as I don't play meticulously or in large amounts. So yeah, I put that to you! This is for solo arma btw, so i'm pretty sure this is the combination that i'm looking for. I have about 8mil to spend freely but already have quite a few bits and pieces. Any other solo arma hints appreciated :)

Recently I had beeing doing sara gwds solo to good effect but now that it is altered with the update I'm considering changing what I should be doing for money.. I'm considering switching to armadyl solo as you can now supposedly get around the same amount of kills per trip at sara and arma soloing, I think... Alternatively, I was considering doing while guthix sleeps and going to tormented demons, however the only problem here is the low melee stats so I'd have to be careful and aim to mainly hit with range attacks instead. Also, DK's, don't know much about them, but I think i'd need higher melee stats? Yes? I don't play that often so grinding skills for money isn't really an option, hence the enjoyment of bosses on the game. Any opinions, input, helpful hents will be appreciated, thanks!
