  1. Reporting as many autoers as you can, can help jagex find better ways to catch them and ban them faster. It's always kind of an uphill battle, and sometimes the autoers are huge in number, jagex does something and they stop mostly, then they come back again. It doesn't take much effort to spot an autoer. They never have expensive items on never more than iron, rarely steel. Myself I've seen very few autoers higher than mid 30's combat since it takes much longer time to raise past that. There are, of course, bots in all online mmo's and more in each as the game gains popularity. Games like 'maple story' for instance being totaly horribly overrun with auto bots since they have even less means to stop it than RS if you can imagine that. They're in it for the money basicly, and if you know/suspect somone is an autoer then yes, report them and don't trade with them. And if you know the sites that do the money selling, send and keep sending those to the Jagex people so they can look into it and do whatever legal action they need to shut them down.
  2. Things like throwing it only happen when you try to go a little beyond what is necessary for the game. For the wii bowling you really don't have to go that much fast. Kind of like... hmmm real bowling? Because unless you're a 2 ton gorrila you're not gonna be able to chuck a bowling ball like it's a golfball. It's a NYLON strap people and besides, those remotes in themselves don't have a lot of mass. So for a strap to fail AND break a TV,window etc., it's gotta be moving pretty dang fast... too fast. People just need to be less stupid is what it boils down to.
  3. Interesting show to some extent. Not exactly original though, as Leno put it "...it's like Xmen meets Xmen!" The special effects in it are better than some shows I've seen that tried the same thing like that "mutant X" show where their extent was "wow their eyes glowed" It's on the only channel I get, so might as well watch it. I think I see where things are going with it though.
  4. Kinda sad to see people cheating on a funwar... so far the only sites I haven't found people using runescims on are runecrypt and Sal's. Luckily no site in particular went overboard and it seems to be mostly isolated users doing this rather than a huge hoard of runescims charging in. It was a fun war though with or without the bad behaviour..
  5. For those of you deluded enough into thinking it was planned by the government or that there was a conspiracy of some kind. http://www.popularmechanics.com/science ... 27842.html Terrible how people try to spin a tragedy into something for their own personal gain. Many people died that day and I find it dishonorable to turn our backs on them by making up tales of fantasy without a shred of viable proof. My thoughts and sympathy go to the victims of that day and I salute the heroes that fought to save lives and especialy to those who died trying.
  6. Ugh, figures... he's probably rolling in his grave about this. I'm sure his family has probably already spoken out against this. He and his family was always big on protecting and teaching people about the environment.
  7. There is a documentary on the national geographic channel titled "Conspiracy Moon Landing" it's only about half an hour long and they re-air it time to time. It systematicly disproves the most common conspiracy theories dreamed up, and does it all with simple physics and simple facts about science. I'd suggest anyone who doubts the lunar landing happened should seriously look into that program as well as people who believe it did happen. One easy to explain one is the "flag waving in the wind" that the conspiracy people love so much. When infact it's more so swinging. To best explain this it's much like raising one end of a string and letting it drop. You'd notice that the string curves, why? Wind resistance. Take out the air and there is nothing to stop the string from swinging and it will not only remain straight but it will keep swinging back and forth. The lunar landing flags were supported on top and along the one side, leaving one corner free to move and without an atmosphere, that end swung with the momentum given to it when it was jabbed into the ground. The documentary also covers things such as radiation, shadows, gravity stars, certain photos, and so on. I strongly recommend it.
