September 12, 200619 yr I just saw this in the news. Over the past few days, people have found dead sting rays around the coast of Australia. Most of these have been found with their tails, it is thought fans of the late Steve Irwin have been hunting them to get revenge. A friend of Steve Irwin asked people not to do this as it would have been the 'last thing he would have wanted' Comment?
September 12, 200619 yr That's just stupid. There's obviously no logic to it. I hope stingrays don't get any bad 'connotation' to them like snakes or sharks get from all this, otherwise they'll face the same problems those do.

Steve, may he rest in peace, jumped on the creature, and using its instinct defended itself. It wasnt a killer instinct....most of the time its orangutangs, chimps, and other primates. Its better to be judged by twelve, than to be carried by six.
