  1. I loved the quest. All those lore bits... I also really liked how they updated the music tracks used in the quest to orchestrated versions. [hide]Deciding Hannibus' fate wasn't too hard. Struggling within the system is alright, but bringing in outside forces seems wrong to me. There is also something nice about being part of a whole and knowing when to move on. Every race must go into decline eventually, to pave the way for the one that comes next. This sums up my feelings perfectly: [/hide]

  4. All my spirit tree seeds came from mtk nests. You could try farming snape grass in all the allotments for some extra xp, but I don't know how much extra xp that would give you.
  5. Disclaimer: Others can answer better than I can, I'm just posting my understanding of how EoC works. You stated that you want to understand how to get best dps, so I'm explaining how the things work instead of just giving you the answer, though the answer does appear at the bottom of the post. [hide='Explanation]Hit bonus is the boost to your attack roll for determining if your attack hits, and is rolled as each weapon attacks. So Vwand+book effectively has 1924 hit bonus, not 3848. (Abilities use the hit bonus of the mainhand weapon) Damage is the number used to determine how much damage you do if your attack hits, and is determined by adding your skill level (magic/ranged/strength)+ ammo/spell damage + weapon damage + armor damage. (Two-handed magic staves have an invisible weapon damage value that is the same as an equivalent two-handed crossbow) If you use autoattacks, a one-handed mainhand weapon uses 100% of the damage value, an offhand uses 50%, and a two-handed uses 150%. If you use abilities, then the game takes 150% of the damage value and normalizes it based on the weapon speed. Fastest speed weapons use 100% of the value, Fast use 80%, and average use 67%. Dual-wield usually has better abilities, and therefore has slightly higher dps over the two-handed counterpart. (The dps difference depends on which side of the combat triangle you are using) Power armor (eg nex/gwd armors) has a damage bonus that equates to about 10% dps of the equivalent tiered weapon. (So full virtus with chaotic staff/vwand+book gives +10% dps, less if you are using seismics)[/hide] In your specific situation, the boost from dw magic outweighs the 10% damage from full virtus so you are better off using Seasinger with Vwand+book, though you should use virtus gloves/boots anyway.
  6. It would be nice if the comp cape originally offered no stats or benefits and would require you to add pieces to get their stat effects like how it currently works for the spirit cape.
  7. Citadel tier shouldn't affect it. If the first slot is open, are you able to click it to set it to the same buff as the third slot? Worst-case scenario, you can destroy the avatar habitat and rebuild it the following week, that should clear all the buff slots and allow you to set new ones.
  8. When someone summons the avatar, they are given this screen: Only the buff they pick will activate, so maybe they are choosing a different one. It doesn't matter if other clanmembers haven't paid orts. As soon as you pay, you can benefit.

    The Kiln.

    It's about 45 minutes, less if you power through everything with t90 weps and ovls. Obsidian armor, chaotic staff/abs, royal crossbow and any melee chaotic are good enough. 5-6 sharks or rocktails for emergency food, 2-3 ppots and a rune/dragon pick/inferno adze. No real need for a familiar, though if you are worried bring a uni pouch and scrolls. If you feel like it you can bring a shield for more healing from regenerate. The fewer, tighter-packed waves keep it from being as boring as fight caves, though if you want xp over the cash/cape you should do the fight cauldron.
  12. Was missing 1 scroll piece when I hit the loop. It took 10 days and many failures to get it.

  17. Cursed magic logs, because training to 200m is boring without variety. Unspam: I forgot to take advantage of the beta, was silly of me. Edit: My average level is 124.6

Only the resources on the crit path are needed for beast mode, so you can do a small and activate guide mode, then you only need to clear of resources the rooms which are brighter on the dungeon map. Ore rocks, cloth plants, fishing spots and trees are the only things that need to be cleared. It's possible that you missed a tree, they are very good at hiding.
  19. Wouldn't that cause virtus wand to drop out of the list of acceptable weps for bossing? Then you would need to have seismics to be accepted if you wanted to mage.
  20. I've been having that for weeks now, logging out of lobby and back in seems to fix it for everything except when spinning SoF.
  21. Just got this, didn't happen 10 minutes ago when I came to the same place.
