Well, first you want to get a ring of charos (u) so that he will take more of your gold to the bank for you. Then you get your golden helmet and get the dwarf to shoot you into the mine. Mine a full inventory minus 1 of gold then take your helmet off to exit the mine. Run up the road and talk to the dwarf and use the charm option to get him to bank most of your gold ores while taking 2 or 3 per inventory for himself. Then just repeat that process.

That's a good price to sell it for if you don't think you'll be able to get the other half, btw.

You can get a crystal bow with prayer lvl 1, the quests are just harder.

Ghost's ahoy! kwimbob's a noob! you dont need to do ghosts ahoy to do ecto, and with the advent of fairy rings, you can still do the duel ring shortcut Bah... Kwimbob is a noob :oops: You need to have done "The Restless Ghost" and "Priest in Peril" If you do Ghost's Ahoy you get the ectophial and it makes it a ton faster (it's pretty much pointless to try ecto-ing without an ectophial). If you don't do Ghost's Ahoy you still can use the ectofunctus however.

No, he used 5 of them, each firelighter can only be used on one log. What I'm not sure about, though, is them giving extra exp. I think it's normal experience per log?

Well it's that whole 70 range thing. That's a really low range lvl so it forced him to probably use the most expensive things possible and have extreme knowledge of exactly how it would go for him. But the crystal bows are what actually make it possible.

There is no leaving. You have to do it all on that one inventory. The saradomin brews would be your food. Instead of prayer pots you would have super restore pots which would restore both more of your prayer and reverse the negative effects of the saradomin brews. There would be no sharks. But as I just said above... I don't think you'll make it through with the range level you have, but with the set-up i just mentioned, you would be able to get pretty far. What are you planning to use as your "range stuff"?

Oh... I just looked you guys up. Both of you have your range lvl so low that you just won't be able to pack enough prayer for you to get through the 360 and Jad fights... :?

You have to go through all 2 hours of monsters before you'll reach the Jad. The best inventory if you don't have guthan's is tons of saradomin brews.

Erm... in my opinion you have that backwards... Any old noob can have a rich friend, it takes some actual effort to get experience (without using very illegal methods of course...). Items are of course important and do show wealth, but other ppl choose to use their wealth in getting skill's exp rather than just getting that one item to more easily show off with. The ectofunctus still takes a long time because you have grind all your bones (three steps per bone, only being able to carry half an inventory of bones/ half pots). Scoop slime (go all the way down to the bottom, scoop one by one). Pray to the altar using an inventory of half ground bones, half slime. You also have to pick up your ectotokens every ~inventory of dragon bones. At the altar all you have to do each trip is: light each burner, use the bones on the altar. The speed difference is very worth the lost 50% multiplyer.

What other burners require marrentils? Did I get ripped off 700k for two marble blocks?? What other burners can you put along with a gilded altar to recieve the 350% xp? You did indeed lose 700k :( The "Incense burners", "Mahogany Burners", and "Marble burners" all do the exact same thing.

So there's an altar. The best altar, the guilded altar (requiring lvl 75 construction), is what they will have if they have been boasting about it. It is possible to get 350% of the normal bone experience, about as quickly as it takes to bury a bone, by using this altar. In order to get the 350% both of the burners must be lit (otherwise you'll only get 250% or 300% experience). You need to use a marrentil and then a tinderbox with each burner to light them. Then, when they're lit, you just use the bones with the altar and you get the 3.5x experience. NOTE: Any "burners", which will require marrentil, will give the +50% experience boost each when lit. Marble burners are not required.

Except for the fact that they're extremely crowded. There's no way he should be on these because his defence is so high that he should actually use it. I would suggest training your combat along with slayer.

They're non-tradeable. You use them on a normal log and then the log turns red. You then light the log with a tinderbox and it makes a neat red fire. There are also blue and green firelighters, btw.

You can buy it (it's really cheap) from the makeover mage either and it's also for f2p. I'm pretty sure the stats are all 0s.

Well the RS search feature isn't all that good sadly. You can't refresh the search for a long time so you can't see if anybody new is ever buying what you're trying to sell or whatever :?

Actually if they're using magic attacks then range armor is the best thing to wear. And if you're in range armor why not use ranged attacks rather than melee, eh? Ankous can be ranged (I saw someone doing it in SE corner of that SW room that has Ankous and skeletons) from a safe spot, so it'll work there too.

My favorite place to cast it is on ducks in the fishing guild. There are people to listen to and it is a good spot. Turn auto-retaliate off and then walk up to the edge of the dock and curse a duck. The duck will be attacking you constantly which will make it so that no one can kill it and it can't hurt you because it's just a duck and you're in full melee armor.
