  1. Erm... crystal bows are the best (2 of them). Karil's x-bow is pretty good too. Anything lower than that... won't really work :? Also, your range level is just too low. If it's not at least like 80 you'll run out of prayer because you'll be ranging the 360's too slow and the Jad much too slow.
  2. If you melee it you'll need to be able to do the prayer switch for Mage, Range, and Melee. All of his attacks can hit 99, so if you make a mistake, you could die instantly. I've also heard he's pretty resistant to both mage and melee.
  3. Umm... there's no instant money really. Items that are worth a lot and can be gotten at one time include: Sharks and magic logs, both of which are worth 1k each. Those need high levels and time though. One thing that has been selling for a high amount lately though is clay. I'm not sure if it still is doing so or the price of it though.
  4. Well... now it can always be paired with a fire cape. That shows that they're both rich and skilled in combat. But just the d chain doesn't mean as much anymore, but it does show their effort in getting the money to buy that one piece of armor.
  5. Non-member... right?
  6. Just checking on his luck I guess? They're not all that rare, but it was a slighly lucky thing to get the two not-so-common drops in a row.
  7. Yah... my price was off, I know :( But it is an expensive price, but you only need to borrow that money. For example if you have a full verac set or something like that that you don't want to sell, sell the set anyways, then buy the mud staff and train as long as you need to then sell the mud staff back and buy back your verac set and continue life as normal with a whole bunch of cheap (and/or fast) mage experience under your belt :). Some people can't afford it, but it is a rare item and all so those without the money can't use the method just as other methods of training that are in the game. This one is just cool because you get your money back after saving money
  8. Well remember, if you do it that way, by deleting/re-building larders, you would still have to either pay for the planks from other people, or waste time converting the logs into planks. By doing it my way, you simply get your servant to get them for you. But the oak larder also just uses the butler the same, like this:
  9. Frankly, that's not true. Besides the fact it's more time consuming to get onto the crafting table, and select your item, those items use less logs than oak larders. In addition, this is much more time consuming due to the running to the bank. But, whatever floats yer' boat. What do you mean? Oak larders are really fast because they use your logs in 8s and are way faster because of that. Here's what I do: Have tons of money, noted logs, hammer and saw. Give Demon Butler 24 notes, he brings 24 logs. Give butler 24 logs, he brings 24 oak planks. Build 2 oak larders then give the butler 24 notes. While he's gone build your third oak larder, then the butler quickly returns and gives you the 24 logs. Give him the logs, remove the larder. He returns with the planks, you build 2 larders, give him the notes, build the last larder, get the logs, break the standing larder, recieve the planks, etc. That's really fast, faster than teak because you use the logs so much faster and it's way less expensive (though the butler does get sent more, but still the oak costs way less so it's worth it).
  10. You could do it really easily I believe. For the short fights you could probably use the dragon battle axe. Get a super attack pot before the battles so that with those slow, hopefully powerful swings you won't hit a 0 and have to wait for the whole next swing.
  11. No, you see here's what you do, you "borrow" it . You buy it for 5mil or whatever, train as much as you need, then when you're done you sell it back for what you bought it for. That way you save all the water/earth runes you wouls have used for free.
  12. For me the hardest quest was Monkey Madness. I did it before quest guides were really out and ended up dying twice. Once was because I stopped running for about one second in the dungeon thing and the [bleep]e clapper clapped me like 4 times in a row . Both times that I died I lost all the monkey stuff and had to get it over again.... Desert treasure's fights were really hard, too. But I'll vote that RfD was the hardest quest because it requires that you've done the above mentioned quests, lol. It was easier for me because I was much higher level when I did it rather than Desert Treasure, but it was still pretty hard and long (but really cool for most of it :)).

It's for making candles and you get it by using an insect repellant and then a bucket on the bees' hive southeast of Seer's Bank. (I think that's how you do it... I haven't in forever.)
  14. Curse or stun training and you can also enchant dragon stone in the Mage Training guild until you hit 87 magic where you'll want to do the onyx enchant with a lava staff.
  15. Train combat skills and it'll go up with them.
  16. They increase your odds of getting rare items. Not buy much, but they do. They're also really cheap now, so unless you have a berserker ring or something go ahead and wear one for whenever you're killing monsters.
  17. Oh and if you and other people wear the same team cape (there are 50 different ones, all numbered) they'll appear blue on the mini-map. There are 5 colors and 10 different patterns
  18. Oh yes, there's also a bonesack. It barely looks like a cape, but it is one, lol. It's the second item on the bottom row of my item signature. It looks like a big backpack with some bones coming out of it. It only has like +4 bonuses but it's interesting :P . You have to do the extra part of the Rag and Bone man quest.
  19. Isn't it the leaf pits? I thought it was those.... Is it those too maybe? I've never experienced it myself though.
  20. Any level that you become a member it will help because all training is just so much easier in p2p.
  21. Don't make double topics. Everyone ignore this one, use the other one.
  22. He means anything but those. There are a whole lot different colored capes sold in Relleka, but the shop requires the Fremmenik Trials quest. The obsidian cape (or "obby cape") requires no quests and has the best stats of all capes except for the fire cape. It's black and stranded. There is a shop that sells it but you must buy it with tokkul and it's much cheaper to buy it from other players or get it as a (semi-rare) drop from one of the high leveled TzHaar monsters. The Legend's (white, strandy cape) requires the Legend's quest and can be bought from the guild. The fire cape requires you to complete the Fight Caves mini-game. It has the very best stats and they're really good for a cape. You must fight a 2-hour long continuous fight (which is now kind of possible to pause during) and defeat a level 702 monster at the end of that fight in order to get it. It is lava colored and is animated as the lava "flows".
  23. Go to Burthorpe and ask the slayer master there for an assignment. He will give you a new one that you must do (there's no way around his). After doing his you can go back to whoever your favorite master is.
