There are so many things that are already there that serve these purposes they can't just add them. Binds/ice spells for example are the new way to force them to stay.

Torag is like 2mil. Verac and Dharok are like 5. Guthan is like 11. I forgot to metion that the barrows crossbow, Karils crossbow, is actually pretty good. It uses bolt racks as ammo. Also, the staff and x-bow are 1-handed, but the rest are 2h as said before. The staff has the same stats as the mystic staff and such, and it only autocasts normal offensive spells.

There's like a little leather bra type thingy under it.

Those pretty much require prayer pots.

Chaos druid warriors aren't too bad either, but chaos druids just each go down so much easier.

They're easy to range/halberd. If you're going to melee them full on, you should bring the verac so you're not hit as much. They don't have much armor really, so the set effect won't do much, just use a whip if possible.

I think you would want to get the highest monster's clue in each lvl. Like fight the highest monster that drops a lvl 1 and you'll get good lvl 1 clues. I think it works like that and I'd try doing that.

Yah, maybe chaos spells with chaos gaunts?

NPCs are always way better exp. You could steal from the warrior wemon nw of ardougne.

What're your other combat stats?

Maybe people were just clicking really mechanically, or had a laptop so that the mouse never moves while you're clicking and that's all it was based on?

Technically a rune longsword also adds a little more defence, so that would be a part of the best f2p armor set :wink: , but it's not the best weapon so I still wouldn't use one.

Ranger boots have always been doing that. They're popular and a necessary part of the like official high leveled ranger outfit.

All other spots require tons of prayer pots. Either that, or you can go to a spot like fire giants and have a food that heals just as much as their max hit and making sure that your hp stays just above their max hit. The food method is dangerous and challenging, but cheap (and also remember with full dharok you won't get hit too much because of it's def bonus).

They're all from the barrows. Barrows items stats are the best in the game (though the weapons aren't the fastest or most effective by themselves as weapons). All barrows items degrade fully after 15 hours of pure combat time, and you have to pay 350k to repair them if you're repairing the full set. The stats don't decrease with the degrading, but they're only tradeable fully fixed or fully broken, and they can't be equipped when fully broken. If any barrows pieces are ever dropped, they fully break. The armors, if you wear the full set (helm, body, legs, and weapon) have set effects. The set effects happen on random hits that you can't control, though they're usually fairly often. Guthan allows you to heal whatever damage you deal when it activates, giving you armor that eleminates the need for food. Verac allows you to hit through armor and prayer, and this allows you to fight other charactors easily, and also to fight the Kalphite Queen just wearing the verac set the entire time (verac also gives a good prayer bonus). Dharok's max hit rises insanely as your health lowers, almost doubling your max hit if you're really low on hp, so it provides really good training if you get down to like 5 hp with protect-from---- prayers on against monsters. Ahrim is mage armor and it has good stats, but not that good of a special effect. Torag is a cheap and the most defensive set by itself, but again has a bad special. Karil, the range armor, really isn't much better than black d hide, but does have slightly more mage def.

Spears have a crush, stab, and slash, but they are all controlled style, and there's also the defensive style.

Well, if you got the assignment from burthorpe you can't trade it out. If you got it anywhere else, you can go to Burthorpe and ask him the top option and he'll off to give you a new assignment, which you can accept.
