I would in most cases pick the obby shield for that str bonus. There may be some cases where I'm training and I'd need the extra def, but I prefer that str.

Hm... verac isn't very good at the fight caves I don't think. At the fight caves you have to fight tons of monsters so Guthan is actually very effective. Either that or you meant the fight pits, which is where you fight other players and verac is really good for that. So could you clarify which mini-game you meant?

Actually those chaos druids aren't in the wildy, so you won't have to worry about that. Those guys do have a high herb drop rate and guam is really the most common herb drop. Keep all of the herbs that you get and bank them. Keep them for when you lvl up or you can sell un-id'ed herbs for 1k each.

If you have the chaos gauntlets then they're pretty good and they're cheap. Also remember that you should use water spells on the fire guy, fire spells on the ice guy, earth spells on the shadow guy, and maybe try air spells on the vampire guy...? I'm not sure on the vampire, but all those other weaknesses are true. Also, there is a safe spot for Damis I believe if you go to the west entrance and stay in the hallway while you mage him. Some bats might attack you but he and his monsters can't fit in.

Personally I would have suggested lobsters, but I'm not sure what the monkfish did to their market. If lobs' market wasn't changed then raws sell 300 each on forums but also very often go below that. Huge buyers log on at different times and you just have to wait for them.

Maybe you have to do the In Aid of the Myregue quest? That's the quest that gives it to you.

Here's a better thing to merchant: P hats. The things that you listed are pretty good things to merchant, and the reason they don't sell/buy extremely easy is the merchanting doesn't give you instant money. Merchanting is basicaslly the fastest way of getting money, but you still have to work to get money out of it. Also, the more money you have, the better stuff you can merchant, and the more you will be getting per hour. Just keep working. You can eventually move on to barrows peices and such, but make sure you have a very good idea of the prices before you start merchanting them, don't get merchanted yourself :wink: BTW: I don't merchant, but I do know all this of it but I can't give really specific advice.

Actually there is a way off that requires no runes that few people know of. If you go to the very southeast corner you can climb a latter and then jump off a thing that leads you out of the city, back by the boat.

The only thing that you can really alch in f2p is things that you smith. You have to really mine your own ores, smith them into bars, smith them into steel plates, and then alch. Besides that there aren't too many ways to alch efficiently in f2p.

So to do this you get at least one un-id of every herb. You figure out what every stack of un-ids is and then remember which are which and keep them ordered in your bank. To get un'ids that are only above ranarr, you would withdraw one noted herb from each un'id stack that you know is above ranarr. Then fill up the rest of your inventory with your money and random items so that it is full. When you trade for their stacks of notes you will only be able to carry their trade if all of them are above ranarr because all of their stacks go into yours and if they have extra low herbs it won't fit.

Pure ess can make any rune. Non-pure can only make the 4 elemental runes. Pure ess is much more expensive than the non-pure because of that. Only members with mining over 30 (I believe) can get pure ess, and f2p people can no longer get pure essence.

Mage doesn't work on the dragon. In fact I believe in RS1 the magic would actually bounce of back at you. The dragon is kind of wearing dragon hide :wink: , which is def against magic.

Ok, so you have get a pie dish, put the dough in, add the 3 ingredients (and try adding those fish raw, that might be the problem), then use the pie with a cooking range.

But beating the boss does give you a decent amount of tokkul. Winning the fight pits a whole lot can get you good tokkul, I got 30k tokkul in a day when I went to the fight pits :D (high-ish lvl with verac and I figured out some good tactics (but nothing evil like hiding)).

You can also did what I did and you can talk to the guy, get an amulet, drop it. Talk to him, get another, drop it. Talk to him, get another, drop it. Then you can pick them all up and you'll have 3 (or you can do it for more, but you may have to pick them all up and drop them all to refresh them from the 5 minute disappearing time) and you won't have to go there to get another for a long time.

Yah, zzzamorak is a really good skiller, I remember seeing him way back and he was the first lvl 3 I'd ever seen that was actually doing anything. I saw him like cutting yews or some, lol, I was so confused then :P
