True, it doesn't affect the drop rate of clues, treasure trails, or the barrows chest. It only affects "drop" rates (and I'm wondering whether or not it affects the champion scrolls :?: ). I think in your case a "nothing drop" would be one of the worst drops, so the ROW should in fact try to bypass those nothing drops. The underlined part though... Actually that's a lie. Long bows have the same stats. They're just slower with longer range (which doesn't really matter).
