Maybe I'm not remembering it right, but I thought the encounter with the Dragonkin at the end of ROTM suggested that the player character wasn't a false user (Or at least, they call you "stonetoucher" or something similar and don't instantly kill you). I'm pretty sure that they make mention that you will be persecuted in the small cutscene/hallucination after the quest. Yeah I think that name is just that you touched the stone a couple of times and got power from that but you have no wholesale used it in the same way others have. Though it, alongside other stuff, does kinda fit into the 'you are destined' kind of thing we got going on perhaps a small nod the kin sensing something different about us and the fact that (it would seem) eventual quest routing will see us kill/free the kin from the stone attachment.

Dragon's don't no (to our knowledge anyway), but considering (based on the journals) they found a large reptilian thing and infused it with kin blood to make QBD and another guy copied it (presumably with a different species) to make KBD then they forcibly bred them in an attempt to create new dragonkin and resulted in the dragons it is possible the Grotworms are some sort of gone wrong breed that form into some weird dragon-esque creature at maturirty or even just a creature that got mutated into some dragon-esque thing by eatting the QBD flesh. Would offer a reasonable explanation of the magic attacks they use (dragonkin magic) and why they seem to have some form of thick hide in places which doesnt fit with a 'normal' carrion type larval creature. And looping back a bit who's to say what the elder-dragons were like? The vague details we have of them imply they are more QBD-like than KBD-like and QBD certainly seems some-what sepertine/wormy (eg the 8 eyes)

I never thought of interpreting it that way to be honest, I suppose that could be right. Still pretty sure it's Jas though. It is a hard one to call due to our lack of knowledge. We can say for definite Jas is allowed to use the stone. We can also say that ourselves, Zamorak, Lucien and Kethsian mages were all false users. We can also say Guthix and Saradomin (and the lunar clan) used the stone but it is unclear whether they are classed as false users. Personally I'd be inclined to believe Guthix and Saradomin are both equally false users and that it's just the stone has to be used enough to unleash the Dragonkin. Ergo Guthix in world creation did not use it enough, but then the Lunar clan learning to craft runes via it and the Kethsian's in the 2nd age at some point used it enough to awaken them thus resetting it to base level. Then we know Zamarok used it some capacity to become a god, presumably not for a prolonged period. Then godwars Saradomin used it, thought he seems to of only used it minorly. Then Guthix used it to end the war again a minor event. Then Lucien begining to use the stone began to arouse the kin once more and finally ourselves + lucien using it further hit the trigger level again. That's my take on it anyway. Though obviously at this point its just as safe to assume TRUE gods (Guthix and Sara) can use it freely based on the likelyhood Guthix used it a truckload in making the world. Also the journals now seemingly suggest the kin being in a rage attack mode during godwars (as thats when they are known to of made dragons roughly) But either way the journal's are certainly referring to Jas. It specifically says HIS stone and they are enslaved it and we know without a shadow of a doubt the stone does belong to Jas. Given the timing of things the rage issues shown in journals must coincide with Zamorak and/or Saradomin (atleast) using it, which precludes them from being the 'he' the one option aside from Jas which is feasible would be Guthix BUT if Guthix had enslaved to the stone why would he set the Balance Elemental up opposed to leaving the kin in the cave under Lumby to defend the stone.

Yep. According to the RuneScape Wiki, Prifddinas was released on September 20, 2004, meaning it's been almost eight years and nothing. Luckily: "At Runefest 2011, it was confirmed Prifddinas would be released along the yet to be subtitled Mourning's Ends Part III, which will be released in 2012 or 2013." Meaning Prifddinas will take eight to nine years (hopefully at best) after its reveal. Good work, Jagex. On top of things as always. Tbf the mod who did most of elf series did leave them for like 6 years in that interim. But I am glad Jagex have adopted a philosophy of finishing stories off rather than starting more and more and more. Sure the pace has slowed down a bit since that big stint we had but all the series are getting a quest atleast once a year.

So... who is the "he" here? Guthix? Saradomin? Or Jas? He would be Jas. They are enslaved to HIS stone. The stone is called the Stone of Jas. To think of it in other terms: You might look at the highscores of Zezima. Therefore the highscores are his. So if something was enslaved to his highscores. He would be refering to Zezima. It's probably an intentional use of 'he' opposed to saying Jas as it adds characterisation (all the other dragonkin would know who 'he' meant) and it means this lore can slot in early on (for non-questers coming to the game) without spoilering later quests about the Stone and the kin.

hmmm seems Royal Vambs can modify range setups a smidge at below best gear, in range attack terms only swift gloves beat em.

So I finally passed the 92 prayer mark and can use soulsplit, just looking for general advice on how best to put it to use in like slayer, dg etc. Like is it worth ditch the yip on some tasks and relying on ss, where is it good for etc. etc.

Comp Cape few newer task you have missing (reported by various maxed friends/clan mates etc.) Normal cape: Beat Fight Kiln Beat QBD and Get first dragonkin journal (From what i hear its a 100% drop first kill anyway) Trimmed cape: Make Zaros symbol in Char's mini-game thing Defeat Sunfreet Get Constitution xp from Song from the Depths (the hidden reward post-quest) Obtain all the dragonkin journals Earn Vyrelord/lady title.

I think that was Kaur's point: blocked doors, stairs etc. do NOT mean anything is planned. Jagex just puts them in cause they look nice and CAN be used at a later date if desired without kind of retconning something in that wasn't there before.

I'm interested to see someone do it with the royal crossbow, seeing as it is confirmed to be slightly weaker the chaotic but get significantly stronger as the fight goes on it seems like it could really tear a new one in the later stages of QBD

So as of last night for no apparent reason flash has ceased to work. It loads and the right-click options and sounds are there, but nothing is shown graphically not even the video player frame or anything. Any suggestions on fixes? Tried cleaning caches and checking for updates. Edit: Ok it randomly came back just after I posted this o.O

I might of bought 650 spins today, but I have 150ish left and had a truck load of double spins, like 60-70 spins per 50 bought spins. Also got me from just over 90 prayer to like half way to 93 so far (including varrock elite completion lamps) @Above I kinda like em, the royal guard stuff works best on blue/purple so the hat matches better and the dragon one looks equally good on any colour thanks to black.

Tbh I'm amazed anyone thought mage would be good against her, she is a dragon afterall and 'normal' dragons are strong agaisnt mage. This fact should've been further hammered home by her being the source of royal d-hide, again d-hide = high mage def.

The more of them posted the more I get the feeling it's from a private server. eg the QBD data is there in-game just the gate shut off and via private server they can get in/spawn it. Hence it's seeming lack of attacking and more than 1 player in last pic (when we know its instanced to be solo).

Looks like he has over 2k lp Probably the effects of the new buff. I'm almost willing to think we will be seeing a fight similar to the stone of jas fight, but on much more epic terms. Or just a test server thing because since when is a 'damage reducing buff' going to be boosting health?

Less a wild guess more a confirmed fact since they said it in like 2 videos and showed it in one of the trailers. Also confirmed is it's 4 stages, with each stage adding new attacks (one would assume 1 stage per beacon/artefact lighting/fixing) with it being confirmed that 4th stage time stop involves killing ghosts to stop yourself getting time stopped.
