Possible second bot nuke already?
If you are metagaming you do not have time to do so. Typing takes precise ticks which impacts on the xp:hr in the long run. Plus being unsociable is hardly a good measure to go by at all many people be clicking away but watching tv or talking on skype and not paying attention to chat, some will even have chat turned off. Not talking is the absolutely WORST measure of botting, especially seeing as most bots these days are more than capable of holding a basic conversation so if anything passing basic chitchat of hi, what's your level etc. is more indicative of a possible bot than not talking at all.

Need some advice on how to conenct my ipod to the internet
To my knowledge ipod wifi don't support AOSS connections due to them being more of an on-the-go device where you would rarely have access to a router to press the button. You should still have some sort of WEP or WPA password printed on the back of the router you can use to connect that way and save for later use. Hard to give much/any more precise info without details of what router you actually have since AOSS is a method of connecting, not an actual specific product or brand.

Future Update Discussions
They haven't said they are transitioning it to my knowledge, it appears more like extra info mixed with teasers about specific content as and when appropriate than a replacement of the traditional text BTS of this is what is planned for the month.

Possible second bot nuke already?
Just because it is a claim that is consistently repeated with these plucked out of the air percentages doesn't make it any more factual. As I said I do not believe anywhere near that high a percentage of high levels have botted at some point. As for the bot names, to me a bot that is a high level and a high level that has botted are not one in the same. A bot that is high level is just that, an account made by the gold farmers or w/e that has done nothng but be botted on and was never really played. A high level that has botted is an actual real player who plays the game 'properly' to an extent but has used a bot for a skill/task or two they don't enjoy. Also I never said NO high levels are botting, I just said I do not think it is a majority the way certain people make it out to be. People bandy around 70%, 90% etc. but there's never been any actual proof of it; and trying to argue this point with such people rarely gets anywhere because they employ the get out clause of "They say they don't/haven't but they have really." and as such insist that there can be no proof as no-one will admit it whilst equally removing any chance of disproving their point. (You can't afterall produce any tangible proof of not botting beyond you're word and if that is automatically deemed lying then what proof is there?)

Upcoming combat changes
I have noticed that as well Jagex has 3 terms these days: 'community' = anyone who can access the forums. 'members' = paying members. 'players' = p2p and f2p alike. Eg runespan was an update for all players, whilst this is a beta for all members.

Urrrrgh not any more now, Song from the Depths next week and then the QBD fight the week after :( http://services.runescape.com/m=news/behind-the-scenes--on-video- Still could be, they did say 'the week that follows' but that is an ambiguous term. It could mean the QBD is not available until the following week or it could mean that in the time frame that directly follows the quest you can be at the QBD. But certainly sounds that way =/

Future Update Discussions
Jmods already confirmed QBD will be instanced to enforce soloing it.

Upcoming combat changes
The way they phrased this thing suggests that there will be an open beta later on, so it might just be "F2P gets the short end of the stick for a little bit longer than players who can't get in early". The way they phrased it, to me, reads as the beta is open to any member who applies but everyone else will get to experience it soon after, meaning the ACTUAL update will be soon after.

Upcoming combat changes
Random side-bar to the combat stuff but it just occurred to me the grass texture/shading is much more realistic in these in-game shots from the combat teasers in terms of general texture and greenness. Wonder if that'll be hitting main-game?

Future Update Discussions
Quest and QBD seem likely since bts said quest was kind of a prelude to QBD giving damage buff etc. And teaser pics surfacing show both QBD lair areas and the Rimmington quest area. And the week after next is the Jubilee so it'd make sense for that week to be the last remaining update aka the Jubilee stuff.

So mage armouring/special effects seem interesting.

Does box staking always end in getting cleaned long term?
Which is why no-one said that. They only mention of theoretical was you should end up where you started; which is basic statistical odds.

Best Antiviruses
I'm still not sure what you mean exactly. In what way is it actually one of the worst? Like you said, performance issues are significantly less apparent nowadays. Norton is a resource hog, even if not as bad as before it still is. Norton databases are often out-dated (compared to other AVs). Norton often leaves stuff undetected that other AVs pick up even in a quick-clean. Norton is a nightmare to get rid of, it has this 'helpful' construction where it hides the REAL uninstaller so even when you think it's gone it waits a few weeks/months then tries to reinstall itself via an update. Basically Norton sucks ass in so so so many ways.

Possible second bot nuke already?
Im saying 70% of high levels botted 2 or more skills This is such a made up fact. While some high-levels certainly botted I can say with 100% certainty none of the high levels I know have ever botted and I know several people maxed or close to maxed and sincerely doubt that a majority (of those remaining at least) botted skills. Evidence for this would be the fact of very minimal rank gains for high levels, most of my 99s aren't exactly super high ranks (like 20k - 40k) and only gain like 100-200 ranks from this kind of banning. Even my stats that are lower but still quite high (eg 90s) only gain 1 or 2k ranks max. The whole 'most high levels botted' trope more often than not just seems like of an evolution of high level = no-life thing, which kinda stems from jealousy since its trying to discredit the achievement of anyone high level.

Does box staking always end in getting cleaned long term?
Staking of any kind can make great money BUT even if you succeed for weeks or months there is the inevitability you will lose, a lot, in the long term. Happened to a friend of mine, made a great living off it got to near max cash pile over course of a few months (along the way he probably lost twice as much though) but then he got utterly cleaned. Why? He'd been winning so much he lost the sense to walk away and assumed his luck would turn around again; but it did not and he ended up with like 100k left to his name. Whether you get cleaned is subject to you being able to quit while you are ahead and being able to put money aside and not using it to stake, ever.

Possible second bot nuke already?
But jmods have said they do mass bannings and the highscore tracker page that MageUK put on tip.it (thought broken atm) actively showed a big drop off every few weeks from mass bannings. Saying it's just people quitting etc in face of the evidence of a noticeable big drop off every few weeks is plain illogical. The numbers fluctuate daily, but every few weeks there is a noticeable sudden drop off of several thousands due to a mass banning.
-
Possible second bot nuke already?
Not really, it's been happening around once every 2 - 4 weeks ever since the bot nuke. It's nothing new and all discussion about it has been exhaustively covered on the many other bot threads we have here over the past months.
-
Possible second bot nuke already?
No. Bot nukes are to do with breaking bots not banning them. Jagex has periodically been doing mass bannings ever since the other bot nuke which is what causes random rank jumps every now and then (combined with f2pers being removed when they unsubscribe)

What skills gives the best immediate rewards in the 50-60 range?
Herb runs is pretty much the only big bucks skill at those levels. I believe cannonballs also turn a profit still, though they are slooooowwwww even at Port Phasmayts with the med(?) diary reward for double speed. Other than that you could try mining and banking gold or coal or possible banking logs from wc, but they aren't exactly amazing money for the effort required.

Summoning
There is no quest required to unlock summoning. This got changed (alongside herblore) with the Burthorpe update. But Wolf Whistle does still offer a nice tutorial on summoning and a good starter pack of charms. But as others have said summoning has no 1 singular use, it's why you see different ones all over the place. Eg farmers using giant ents and stranger plants, hunters using arctic bears, fishers using granite lobsters and ibis, miners using lava titans, some skillers and fightings using war tortisies and pak yak for inventory space, people using unicorns and bunyips to stay alive, people using titans to fight etc.

RUNESPAN WTH
That is called made up bs that Jagex will not do. Also you do craft essence in the runespan anyway.

Burning 500 vyre corpses
I'd strongly second the kill and burn in batches of 50 thing, not only does it break up the monotony it means you are benefiting from the weapon improvement given every 50 burns making each round a little bit faster.

All Fired Up - Requirement Questions
The guard requirements are just for giving the guards extra logs to keep it a light longer, but if you pre-load and do it right this is not an issue. Evidence: I trained summoning to 80 about a month ago, I have had inferno Adeze for a good 2 or 3 years.

Post all small corrections and spelling/grammar mistakes here!
Bunch of stuff in the new Runespan guide, I think I meandered a bit and some of these are perhaps slightly on the large side for this thread, but oh well it's here now! "The Runespan is an alternative method of training the Runecrafting skill, reputed for high experience rates and ease of play." I'd question the use of reputed, firstly because reputed is usually used in the context of believed but not actually proven true/disproven (Eg It is reputed that the earth is flat) and secondly because it is kinda a 'fancy' word that I'd assume a good majority of English speakers, let alone foreigners, would not be familiar with. Also introduction related is if you enter the low level first you do get a tutorial of the mechanics, this ought to be at least mentioned somewhere. "Total Points: The number next to this icon shows the total amount of Runespan points you have earned to spend at the rewards shop. This does not include points from the runes that you currently have in your inventory!" I'd question referring to it as 'total' seeing as it is NOT an actual total of your points (which you would be a sum of this value and the inventory value) I believe the tutorial referred to it as 'earned points' which makes more sense. "Current Level: This icon represents which of the three Runespan levels you are currently on. There are three total levels, each with increasingly rewarding activities." Epic misuse of the word total. Should just say there are three levels no need for the word total. "Your task is to siphon energy from the various creatures in the Runespan and create runes for the guild. To do so, you need rune essence and the required Runecrafting level, depending on the runic creatures you want to siphon." Should say creatures or nodes or omit the last part entirely (since it is irrelevant to obtaining essence) "Taking from the floating essence will set your inventory essence count to twenty-five, no matter how much you were previously carrying. If you have more than twenty-five essence you will have to obtain more essence from siphoning creatures!" Awkward phrasing try 'Collecting floating essence will allow you to gain a maximum of twenty-five essence. Once you have twenty-five or more essence you will be unable to collect from these and will have to acquire essence through siphoning or chipping creatures as detailed below.' "You will constantly attempt to siphon energy, and the attempt will either succeed or fail. Failure will ward either no experience or very little experience." Repetitious and kinda over-worded do not need 'and the attempt will either succeed or fail' it is kinda a given that if something is attempted (opposed to done) it can succeed or fail and any possible doubt on this matter is more than covered in the following sentences anyway. In the opening sentence of the segment you should also amend 'all of the creatures' to 'all of the creatures and nodes' which renders this sentence unnecessary "In addition, you may siphon energy from the many nodes scattered throughout the Runespan, described in the nodes section." Just a bit tidier, rather than adding nodes as an after thought. Also need a sentence on the end of the siphoning segment to say 'When a creature you are siphoning from is depleted you will be awarded with some rune essence' and probably should note somewhere that creatures are depleted after one player gets 10 runes from them in one go (eg if you break off and restart it resets) "If you chip-off a creature, you must chip-off from at least three other creatures before you can chip-off the same one again." If you chip a creature you must chip at least three others before you can chip this creature again. Awkward phrasing and no need for the 'chip-off' rather than just chip. "Whenever you wish to leave the Runespan, you can talk to one of the wizards located on various islands, who will teleport you back to the Wizard's Tower. Alternatively, you can use any conventional teleport method. Therefore it is recommended to take a wicked hood with you so that you can return to the tower whenever you want without having to find a wizard. Upon leaving, all of the runes crafted in the Runespan will be changed into their point values." Last sentence ought to read the runes crafted and remaining essence will be taken from you with the inventory points being converted into earned points. Since it is not correct to say they 'change' in to points; they already HAVE given you points. Navigating: Should mentioned that the runes spent on travel do subtract for your inventory points. Wicked hoods rewards segment should specific each piece adds 25 essence and 1 rune charge, with the full set offering 1 extra teleport. Runic Staves sentence is slightly wrong, the lesser stave CANNOT hold spells. Also should specific normal holds 500 up to level 75 spells, greater holds 1000 no level limit. Also they can hold ANY spell, not just hostile spells and when attacked with the same spell as the staff holds it can absorb the spell negating the damage and giving you extra casts. This effect improves with RC level (jmod confirmed). "Combination Nodes vs. Single Type Nodes In general, combination nodes offer better experience per hour. This varies depending on the node type, so try some different strategies and see what works best for your level. " This Tip & Trick is kinda totally made-up. Combination nodes give better xp than their singular counterparts because they are higher level, nothing to do with them being combined.

Upcoming combat changes
This made me lol! Many of the updates since New Year have been considered some of the best we've had in ages (as a general consensus) with only 2 major stinkers (SOF and Effigy nerf) and a few that whilst not amazing and aren't exactly bad either.
