Burthorpe Taverley related stuff.
I had meant to try and post here with some more detailed info to be helpful but uni life etc got in the way. Anyway some notes on the updated guides! Wolf Whistle: After breaking the news to Pikkupstix, he suggests summoning a giant Wolpertinger to scare away the trolls. To do this he needs you to get him an ancient wolf bone amulet, white hare meat and an embroidered pouch. He will give you a blessed spirit shard and a grey charm after collecting the materials. Not quite true, you can ask for the shard charm at any point and receive them. Would be better to knock that sentence off the end and just leave it in the list below eg: After breaking the news to Pikkupstix, he suggests summoning a giant Wolpertinger to scare away the trolls. To do this he needs you to get him an ancient wolf bone amulet, white hare meat, an embroidered pouch and rare summoning items (a blessed spirit shard and a grey charm). The material collecting I'd question the order, in terms of being efficient it makes most sense to get the pouch upstairs then head to the pet shop then go to wwm before heading directly back to pikkupstix Death Plateau: You have to talk to the map before you can kill him, may want to put that in the last step.

The Elder Kiln
The correct way to reference it, to make it a bit clearer would be: Using protect-from/deflect melee prayer will cause TokTz-Ket-Dil to use his unblockable stomp attack every turn, this attack can cause up to 200lp damage. Protect-from/Deflect Magic or Ranged can still be used without triggering this attack.

Lava Flow Mine - random events info update
Unless its been patched recently that is nonsense. I fixed every boiler tht broke when I was down there without fail; even when they were quite close together.

The kiln quest puzzle
You don't even remotely need to understand base-10 or any mathematical skills/concepts like that. You just look at the pattern given. Symbol values - Number 1 1 - 13 1 2 - 14 1 3 - 15 etc. The symbols are counting up in numerical order still and all you need to spot is the 2nd digit is 2 higher than what the symbol alone represents.

Solo Smalls: good time?
solo c6 smalls should be sub 12 minutes as an upper limit really. Personally I'm not exactly a pro dger and a solo c6 I usually average about 5 or 6 minutes (thought I havent done many for an while so small sample size)

The kiln quest puzzle
I make it 18 without referring to any confusing jumble, you just work left to right. 6 + 17 - 3 - 2 23 - 3 - 2 20 - 2 18 1) You put both zi as plus instead of minus. 2) If you look at the number list 10 - 12 have their own symbols then 13 is 1 1, 14 is 1 2 and so on. Therefore 1 5 = 17 I don't see why so many people assume 1 5 must be 15 when the number list clearly shows the pattern for the higher numbers.

looks like concept art rather than in-game to me.

It is blurred out, I would assume it's the sign for the attraction that says what it is, you can see some green/yellow writing in the blur but its un-readable.

New fb teaser today and an alternate middle segment from RSOf, added to prior image we now have: Obviously that box on the right has the fist in it I'd assume. Yellow thing I mentioned before deffo appears to be a lever to which the chain attaches (it all matches up in the punching version) to lower the goblin. The vanish box thing near goblins head is a mystery lol

Livestreaming
Seems like a nice idea, assuming the people to do the streams can be recruited efficiently. And there are a few issues to perhaps consider, eg Live streaming new content, is the bandwidth costs worth it when looking at average users online at update times? Can the servers handle it? We all know the forums have crashed out on us a few times on major updates due to user volume. The website could crash out at a lower volume for a higher bandwidth usage like streaming video. If videos are being implemented could other uses be applied to them? Such as could we develop video guides to go alongside the quest guides?

Post all small corrections and spelling/grammar mistakes here!
Herblore Habitat; juju potions; guthix juju: "10% boost to Herblore XP whilst making Juju potions. This boost does not apply to normal potions, but will work outside of Herblore Habitat." Overly wordy for no reason. "10% boost to herblore xp whilst making juju potions" specifies the limitation that the boost is for making Juju potions which makes it redundant to say it doesn't work for normal potions, it's implicit that it won't.

Herblore Habitat Hunter Level
It entirely depends on which juju potions you want. 78 hunter for corrupt vine which makes hunter juju needed to catch cannibal, aquatic, camoflauged and draconic 74 for marble vine to make farming juju for the herb yields 80 for draconic vine for mining juju for the banking Don't think any other jujus are overly useful.

Ew. That thing is often horribly incorrect on prices as users update them wrongly or slowly. Grimy's sheet is far far far far superior for seeing what's what: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldEhLOK6ejJdHlwRC1VRVJiUkFNM2JVQ3otNS0xUGc#gid=1

4 days late, but whatever. Your points are completely unsupported there unfortunately Sy. Regardless that you have to do MA, or Enchant the item (amulets themselves are enchanted forms of the jewellery) I wouldn't say that rings such as these 'aren't stat rings' at all... In fact, some of them have good stats for higher players who choose to Nex (Onyx/Dragonstone (i) being the ones that come to mind) or low players new to the game (I personally have used the Berserker Necklace before). Rings: [item=8731] [item=8732] Bracelets: [item=6904] [item=6908] Necklaces: [item=6906] Now tell me that these items don't have stats/their uses... I was of course generalising (specifically about enchanted gem jewellery) and the statements hold true for the vast majority of the items in question. I did overlook the imbued rings, though they have some what niche uses beside the non-gem ring equivalents anyway and they are kind of null to the point of enchanted rings functionality; so I will not say much more about them in this post and just leave it as I did indeed overlook them. Combat brace and Regen do have some stats, but I personally don't consider them stat items as such. They are outclassed in that respect by all the glove items and their primary uses are teleports and improved healing respectively not the stats. I probably should of specified previously what I meant by stat items. For the sake of this post I will take 'stat items' as you have to encompass all the items with some stats on them. Berserker necklace is certainly a complete exception to the 'rule' but generalisations always do have exceptions. And of course the items are by an large effect items (excluding amulets), after all take those 3 items (ignoring the imbued rings) compared to: Ring of Recoil Ring of Duelling Ring of Forging Ring of Life Ring of Wealth Ring of Stone Games Necklace Binding Necklace Digsite Pendant Phoenix Necklace Skills Necklace Bracelet of Clay Castlewars Bracelet Inoculation Bracelet Forinthry Bracelet For a total of 15 effect/teleport items (17 if you recount regen and combat as they are effect/tele items as well) Out of 25 enchanted jewel items total: 16 are teleport/effect items (ammy of nature added in here) 6 are stat items (ammys of magic, defence, strength, power & fury + zerker necklace) 3 are a combination (combat brace, regen brace and glory) Breaking it down into item specifics All 6 rings are effect/teleports All 6 braces have effect/teleport 5/6 necklaces are effect/teleport So I'd say it was a pretty well founded generalisation considering 17/18 items do indeed adhere to the notion that those items are effect/teleport items. 15/18 adhere to the notion they aren't particularly stat items.

Not many (if any) of the price sheets show it but atm cooked fish have actually overtaken raw on price.

Unless of course there was 2 strands of casino coins/items. Gambling coins and Reward coins. Gp or reward coins can be swapped for gambling coins. But rewards can only be gained from reward coins. So you could invest 1mil gp and have 1mil gambling coins, but you'd have to play the games and win 1 mil in reward coins to actually get it back out. Though of course in terms of gambling one would assume all the coins could go bk to gp. So if you put in 1mil and managed to win you could get extra gp out.

How on earth do you get from an arcade/fairground spin the wheel machine of some kinda with a goblin on it to the gnome quest series where we are working on sneaking in to an underground city?!?! o.O Considering the amount of arcane machinery involved and the tendency for it to be a puzzle of some sort. It clearly looks as if a goblin made it... look how poorly made it is? Plus all the gnome machines have been sleek tidy things where everything is orderly and has a purpose. Mostly made of wood, other than the ones we glimpsed in the city that are more angular and metal. Definitely not some messy wild machine like the one pictured. Plus the fact of the gnome machines have all served a neat purpose, the 'good' ones revolving around the crystal discs, the 'evil' ones around 'modifying' creatures; this is clearly some sort of carnival or entertainment device hence the bright colours and little flourishes and a spinning wheel to add a random chance/game element. And then there's the very obvious goblin in the image, goblin's have no links what so ever to the gnome line. Not even a throw away line that subtly implies goblin involvement. Anyway on that QA recently they mentioned 'wait til you see what we have planned' in response to questions about gambling issues. I think this could be some sort of D&D combined with nerfing flowers, dg cape, seal etc. to try and stomp out gambling. Eg once a day you can pay up to x gp and spin the wheel which produces various outcomes.

I'm talking about top right of the wheel, below the seagull sign; the yellow lever thing that doesn't quite match up between the pictures. Not the yellow bit near the big red button.

There seems to be a jigsaw, of sorts to collect. Our two overlpa nicely on the top right/bottom left corners Which again overlaps with fb: Edit, assembled the three: Obviously a spinning wheel, hence it don't quite match there and some sort of yellow lever above the bellows bit, hence another slight mis-match.

Tool belt update and skill guides
But you do still need one. The fact its on the tool belt doesn't remove the need for it; it just means you have it on you at all times. You can't smith without a hammer. Wc without a hatchet. etc. You can however carry all the needed tools at once.

tool belt help
How would carrying an extra harpoon achieve anything? Also I believe you missed the point of the thread. The issue was the game choosing to use the harpoon on the tool belt opposed to doing bare-hand, not unlocking bare-hand.

favour points
If you read the link that Jeremy gave you should pick up enough to know the basic terms which I used in my post. It is a more advanced point about the mechanic used when retrieving favour for seeds, but it was only using the basic terms that you *should* be able to follow from even skimming a basic guide on the herblore habitat. But to cover it as best I can: Common, Shadow, Diseased, Camouflaged, Aquatic, Amphibious, Carrion and Draconic are the specific species of Jadinkos. Jadinkos are attracted to the hunting area by specific combinations planted in 3 farming plots and a building plot in the area. Vine flower, fruit tree and vine bush are the farming plots. Boneyard is one of the build plot items. There is also vine herb plots used for the un-tradable vine herbs which make the useful juju potions. All jadinkos drop a specific vine when caught, camouflaged drops Striped Vine, which is used to pay Papa Mambo, an npc in the area, to scare away a jadinko type of your choice for 15 minutes.

tool belt help
There is some condition or other that makes you do it bare-handed. No idea what though, think it might be 90+ fishing or something. All the high level fishers I know, myself included, always do bare-hand even with full toolbelt.
