To those who have a SSD - Issues?
Could be to do with what the connectors are, I vaguely recall something about SSD only working properly with SATA 2 or 3 connectors not plain old SATA ones. And I do know some boards use a better SATA for some connections than others. Like my old desktop had 4 Sata 3.0 and 6 Sata 2.0 headers and my Mum's chronically slow thing has some mixture of Sata 2 and Sata 1.

quick bxpwe question
No. No 'bought' or 'reward' xp gets boosted, basically anything where you trade something in for xp does not get boosted. The only exception being trading in long/curved bones at dorge.

Yeah but my point still holds true: Things get easier it's a natural course any mmorpg takes, originally you got no tutorial, no gp and no items. Any change to the early game since then has just made things easier.

Which also did not exist in the original release

You've always gotten a handful of items when making a new account. I'm fairly sure you got nothing in the original release. You just got dumped in Lumbridge and left to your own devices, no items and no guidance. Tutorial island. Tools for resources, 25gp, 25 air stike casts + a few other runes. wasn't much but they did give you the items to help start off AND tutorial Island explained all (but RC and crafting) skills and how to do them. nowdays its all "OHNOEZ A DRAGON! BETTER STAB IT! COMBATSCAPE!!!@@" as a "tutorial" There was not always tutorial island.

Tools priority
I'm fairly certain magic secateurs effect only works when wielded and always has been that way even prior to toolbelt hence farmers wearing them or equipping them when arriving at a plot despite use mud staff or w/e for teleports/compost etc. As for tools that do not require being wielded it's same rules as always: the best item takes priority. If you wield mith hatchet, have a d hatchet and got bronze on your belt you will use d hatchet.

I don't think its is the 'easy path' that the early game lacks what many deem enjoyable content. It's simply the nature of the beast that the higher level better stuff will always look more enjoyable and therefore make low end content seem dull in comparison. 'Grass is always greener on the other side.' Any low end content that truly is enjoyable and/or profitable becomes highly used by high-end players and equally diminishes the enjoyment for low-end players.

If you had just started playing the game and you never knew anything of what it used to be, you wouldn't think anything of it. I guarantee it. And that's who they're going for - new players, who aren't familiar with the game. Make the early days more enjoyable and you increase your chances for retaining them as long-term customers. Besides it's nearly every single update makes things easier. I mean what about when we had no tutorial and no home tele and you got no starting items or gp and runes were so expensive you could never even dream of actually teleporting. A lot has changed since then, every single one makes something easier in some way; its the nature of the game and why new content skills, new lands and new monsters are important because they all start out difficult or hard to reach.

Made up 'fact' alert! All we know for certain is: 1) The graphics have nothing to do with the item you get in terms of timing presses etc. 2) The prize you win is picked at random when you press the button and then graphics force themselves to land on that prize.

I think the player-owned house should be that transport hub. We've already got portals, add in a fairy ring to a garden, provide more spots to mount teleport jewellery to various walls, grow a spirit tree in the centre of a formal garden. I don't mind having these things, but I want to get the feeling that I earned them. POH needs a serious overhaul or addition tbh. the Portals havent been touched since the skill came out, basically the entire thing hasnt been touched, with the exception of Summoning room. out of the portal rooms minimum needed for ALL teleports, there's still 2 frames left open for focus. Why not give us a Lunar or Trollhiem teleport to fill them in? No 'need' really since having a third portal room is an utter waste. Portal options are: Lumby Varrock Fally Cammy Ardy Yanille Canafis. Put you're house in Yanille and that leaves 6 portals, for 2 full rooms. The 'but other house locations have uses' argument doesn't even hold up anymore since you can used chipped tabs to reach Rimmington, Taverly, Polnivenach, Rellekka and Brimhaven.

Elemental workshop map - floor changing doesnt work
This appears to be a beta site issue, it works fine on the old site but not the beta site. Same also applies for MEP2 maps 3 onwards and Waterbirth dungeon; basically all the interactive multi-level maps.

I don't mind having these things, but I want to get the feeling that I earned them. I wouldn't mind if it was separate from PoH but you still earned it. Eg unlocked by a fairly hard quest you find the place and activate a lodestone there and learn of a magic that opens 1 portal to allow 1 transport method through and have to do 1 portal (with each getting progressively harder/costier) to open for each transport you want to add. (Though some can be grouped eg jewellery = 1) Like you have to farm a spirit tree there in a special way. You have to use farming and maybe a bit of herblore to cultivate a fairy ring. You have to use smithing and crafting and mining to bring dwarf carts and perhaps the train there. You have to use crafting and maybe hunter to create a trail to bring magic carpet. Then do similar things for balloons and charter ships and a house portal. Then perhaps have a very high levelled 'zoo' you can make for teleport (and they cannot be removed or provide any other function) familars to be perma housed. And some sort of statue which you create magic stone copies of jewellery/items on. Eg it has several slots around the neck to embed amulets/necklaces etc and ones of the hands for rings and gloves and it can hold items. Kind of like you'd need at least 85 or so in most skills to actually unlock it all and it would cost you to do so.

There was a thread on rsof for a few months specifically asking for barrows style suffix titles for the next batch of loyalty rewards, so they should definitely be a suffix rather than a prefix.

I'd add yanille and draynor for penguin hunting since penguins often get in the city wall and manor house and these teleports drop near enough that cast time < run time for next nearest or should just about be.

Wrong. Half hour limit was removed a good year+ ago. Tbh for general day to day getting around these are good if you have no hurry. Some are even pretty epic for penguin hunting eg right by yanille wall and nearer to draynor manor one or two have possible intensive uses eg cathurby could be handy for tree runs and allotment/herb runs. Though I imagine for juju herb runs it'd only be good if u did cathurby first and subsequently had the lunar trollheim spell. But for proper training they suck eg when rcing or w/e ppl use kinship or duel rings not home tele (on ancients) because it was slower, same still applies.

To those who have a SSD - Issues?
Those are the basics, the later 3 being good in general and the former being ssd specific. Haven't done anything else to my ssd setup and had no issues other than 1 dying within warranty, but that was an out of the box issue like ya sometimes get.

Yeah cause camulet and wicked hood and/or astral tabs didn't give us that already. This thing's closer than Camulet. You also get a home teleport to Lunar Isle, which used to be exclusive to the Lunar spellbook, which simplifies changing your book now (though it's not faster than wicked hood's twice-daily teleports). I'd say granite place is marginally closer or at least equal distance to the pyramid as the mirror hill is. And I totally forgot the blindingly obvious Pharoh's Sceptre teleport. Certainly these make life easier but it's not like we haven't had nice fast ways to do it before.

Forum Signup Question.
Define 'simpler.' Because to me a company name that features quite heavily on fansites and the main game website alike is pretty simple. I mean the runescape homepage alone has the jagex logo, copyright to jagex and the jagex store now open bit, anyone who is a half way intelligent human being above the age of about 8 should know the answer if they play the game or at least be capable of googling the answer.

Wicked Hood v. Tiaras
This is what I'd guess too, although ironically tiara is probably more effort seeing as u get given hood for free and use talisman on it opposed to having to make/buy a tiara to begin with.
-
Wicked Hood v. Tiaras
Hood works as a tiara for any talisman in it with no charge limit, the charges are only that it produces free runs (25 is it?) 2 teleports and 100 ess a day. The base function as an omni tiara never runs out. Also it's left click enter option when you have tiara/hood/staff

New concept on resource dungeons
Seems utterly pointless to me, charging entry removes or diminishes the rewarding element of the dungeons and it's not like there is a huge issue with token overstock. 120 dg is only 104m xp so that's only 10.4m tokens even if you discount all rounding issues which often make you come out worse off with tokens. Costs 1mil tokens to even buy all the chaotics, which all have uses. 1.6m if you have the shields too. 2m if you buy the prayer unlocks as well. So just with those few buys we only have 8.4m tokens left. Factor in rebuys via death, other bits and pieces and recharges and while you may accumulate a store of tokens after you finish buying odds are you will run out even after maxing dg eventually through recharges.
