Hopefully just an oversight, kinda like how antifire messages were put into the filter at one point or an various new content spammy messages get missed (eg the factory outfit message for every time u make a 4 dose pot is a pita and I don;t think that's been filtered yet)

new calculator
The various Urns are included on the skill calculators. For example you go to fishing then pick the urns category. This uses the xp required to fill the urn + the bonus for teleporting to show you how many urns you need to reach a desired level, how you then fill them if your call.

Your point being? All the possible answer items are in the riddle room anyway either on the floor or in one of the crates/barrels etc.

It apparently automatically scales down to the highest tiered tool you can use, and when you meet the requirements to use it, it returns to its original effectiveness. This is going to endlessly confuse people. Just watch... Yeah the levels tiering mechanic is pretty simple, but bound to confuse people. Novite 0-9 > Bathus 10-19 > Marmaros 20-29 > Kratonite 30-39 > Fractite 40-49 > Zephyrium 50-59 > Argonite 60-69 > Katagon 70-79 > Gorgonite 80-89 > Promethium 90-98 > Primal 99 Whatever tool you have on your belt will act as if it is the metal for the highest tier you can use, as shown on my little chart thingy ^ Eg Argonite Pick Acts as Novtie 0-9 Acts as Bathus 10-19 etc. Until 60+ It acts as Argonite No benefit to having a higher tier tool on belt over the tier you can use, other than as you level up you won't need to swap it out for the next tier. Basically on the tool belt if you have say 30 mining Novite, Bathus, Marmaros, Kratonite picks = Novite, Bathus, Marmaros, Kratonite picks Fractite, Zephyrium, Argonite, Katagon, Gorgonite, Promethium, Primal picks = Kratonite picks

Is there any source for this with tangible proof? Because it certainly doesn't sound right to me, logical would dictate primal are better at the skill tasks in terms of destroyed resource rates in the same way all primals best their promethium counter parts. You stilll destroy ores with a primal. I used to have one bound. I have at least a 75% recover rate on ores with promethium and add in double ores what more do you want? I am usually fully geared in 2 rocks and that includes a shield. It's not that it matters since I'm like one of the 1% of players who mines and make armours each game. Just because you still destroy ores does not categorically prove that primal does not have a better recovery rate than promethium. And yes ring etc may give double ores and that is all very good but it is not directly relevant to the question of whether primal does or does not have a better recovery rate of ores/logs. It may answer in part whether it is worth purposefully hunting primals out, but that is not what I was questioning. I was questioning whether primal recovery rate has been proven to be equal to promethium as you implied. Most other good dgers I've spoke too or seen posting around the forums have certainly mentioned they will be hunting for primals with this update combine that with the logic that it should be better I'm more inclined to believe it does have a better recovery rate, even if not hugely so than based on the assertions of one poster using very strange ad-hoc logic. After all how does 'primal still destroys ores' + 'promehtium has 75% recover rate' + 'ring gives good bonuses' equate to, or remotely offer proof that, 'Primal is not better at recovering ore than promethium' Just the kind of statement I'd expect, given how meticulous the cross section of meta-gamers and DGers than form groups like DGS are, there would be researched figures on the matter that offer a reliable answer.

Happy with all these, like the little extra that you can bind best pick/axe to belt no matter ur levels and it just acts as best u can use at time. No more wasted primals from bulwark.

ability to choose screen layout
Will never happen. Jmods have said so a million one times it is not worth the coding required to give toggle options for interface changes because older layouts vary so greatly in size, layout, features not being there etc. It would be a coding nightmare to try and make them all function simultaneously and would require more dev time any time any update used an interface. Just get on and play the game, you get used to them eventually the same way all the people spamming RSOF on the week the change happens about how it is unusable all adapt within a month or so and just get on with playing.

What boots are these?
Without a picture I can't think of any boots that match this, where the person was and more on the other gear (eg. weapon) would possible help as we could deduce likely options but what they were dressed for.

Is pyramid plumber worth it?
Because of course an untradable armour set with the sole purpose of boosting thieving xp is amazingly useful to someone with 99 already. Unless you are going for 200m xp or really want 100% costume room doing pyramid plunder past 99 just for Black Ibis is not a good reason.
-
Is pyramid plumber worth it?
Not really, pyramid plunder is used for training and not much else. The Sceptre of the God's/Pharoh's Sceptre can be handy for teleportation options but especially with lodestones addition it's not hugely vital, there other viable methods and the Pharoh's one can be bought on ge anyway.

Tip.it gets hacked and doesn't send email users?
There was emails sent out, all forum passwords were forcibly reset once control was regained, the forum AND the main website had big announcements about the issue and offering advice to users about ensuring they changed other passwords etc. Not really much more tip.it staff could've done in dealing with the aftermath of the issue.

Petition Against Insight Venture Partners
Of all the petitions I've ever signed, including government ones, I've never needed more than an email address. Asking for a full address is ridiculous, there are plenty of other well know petition sites that don't ask for such details.

Future Update Discussions
That is true, but it's also kind of an exception to the rule since all other occasions the pictures have shown something visually new or we haven't had a picture. I'm not sure how I see remaining updates falling, there's 3 left (fixes, sagas, runespan) and 3 possible update weeks since 30th = monday and updates usually tuesday. On the one hand the fixes seem quite substantial (especially as they hint there's more non-dg stuff than what they listed) so it could be a standalone update. Yet equally it isn't MASSIVE and with the obvious link between dg and the sagas they could pair off quite logically. I'd like to hope the fixes come this week, but who knows!

Future Update Discussions
I'd take a wild stab in the dark and say that firstly Easter weekend means bank holiday friday and monday and a lot of companies will be closed for the sunday too so odds are the staff are away. Plus if we assume the dg and other fixes are probably/possible next week there's nothing really to give us a picture of.

Portable Hard Drive Corrupted
Yes if the drive is becoming corrupted to the point where it is unusable (opposed to just a few corrupted files and the rest being fine) it means there is something wrong with the drive, especially seeing as this is a recurring problem.

What should I do when I come back to playing RuneScape this Monday?
I think the main issue you had is learning to deal with the fact people disagree with you. It is a fact a life, you don't have to shoot down people for doing so. They aren't 'attacking' you just stating their view. You do come off as if you take any response that disagrees with you as a personal attack, often times you respond to things with this tone that don't even really need responding to. Eg The warhammer topic there is no need to reply to nearly every reply that disagreed being highly defensive of your view, it's a discussion not an argument. You only need to reply when someone raises an issue/reasoning/question you want to react to and even then you shouldn't be defensive and on the attack and only respond if you have something new to say. Eg: I think sentence X in BTS means Y because of Z Reply: I think Z actually implies A because B. You respond: But it reads to mean Y because of Z This is bad, the response is being a bit defensive, asserting your view as fact and didn't actually add anything to the discussion just restated your original post. Eg: I think sentence X in BTS means Y because of Z Reply: I think Z actually implies A because B. You respond: Well it could mean that, it makes sense, but previously C has always implied Z so I still think Y is more likely This is a better example. The response is not getting defensive, its sticking to to opinion opposed to asserting fact and you have added an extra reference to back up why you find their view less likely than your own.

Portable Hard Drive Corrupted
If it is getting corrupted to a state where you HAVE to use a recovery tool to get the data off you should not really be re-using the drive. It has some sort of fault causing to corrupt and you can't really self-repair them.

I thought this was old news... Apart from the video, it is, and yeah it's going to be a new, bounty-hunter style minigame(Though with risk afaik) Tbf we do know for certain that sword thing relates to the new bounty hunter that is in the works. It just happens to be they concept art on that slide in the presentation; it's entirely possible it was just a random wildy concept art image since they had no bh specific ones. Well Runefest was in October so I may not remember it 100% correct, but I'm pretty sure Mod Mark specifically referenced this concept art, plus it makes sense 1. It's in the old bh crater 2. You remember that "weapon of the gods" thingy? Well I giant sword fallen from the sky, with a guthix symbol on it kind of has a connection with that ;) I watched all the runefest videos and they never directly referenced it to my memory, it was just the picture on the slide behind them while they talked about BH. And certainly I don't dispute it would make sense but making sense and being a 100% confirmed fact are not the same thing.

Blisterwood polearm vs Ivandis flail
The damage distribution for those weapons isn't uniform so it's a massive pain to actually test max hits, but iirc I hit over 980 at least once with a maxed polearm. From what I've heard/seen polearms do get up to the 900-1000 region with max skill and maxed stats etc. I mean I have had 870ish out of mine and my stats are not maxed, nor do I have the best armor (for str bonus etc), nor did I use any pots or prayers (which I don't have the best ones anyway)

Adblock prohibited?
In theory it is agaisnt the rules as it does hit their income. But in recent years ad revenue has become a much smaller factor on the web in general (because people are more tech/web savvy) and there is no way they can actually detect that you are doing it. So really it just comes down to a sort of moralistic choice: block the ads to avoid their annoyance OR be kind and (as a F2P) turn ad blocking off for the rs site so they can make some revenue off of you.

Facebook privacy question
Facebook connections are reciprocal. If someone is a friend of a friend, then (s)he would also see me as a friend of a friend. I am aware of this my point however was your privacy settings effects who can add you, not who you can add. Just because they are set to friend of a friend does not mean you can add anyone who is a friend of a friend.; it means any who is a friend of a friend can add you.

Behind the Scenes - April
Huh? Everybody will be a keyer now, just like in the current pro teams. ^This In my experience in pro teams the "keyer" just sort of becomes the one dealing with keeping everyone organised for gds and such via gate stones. Every spreads out, as much as possible dealing with skill doors and keys as and when they can, hence the importance of calling. Guess you're right, just another change to get used to. I'm not sure it'll remove much strain from the keyers shoulders. He still has to tell people what to gate (And keep track of it). He still has to ensure the group gatestone is on the largest path. He still has to predict each path as he did before. He still has to instruct party members when to and not to take the gatestone. He still has to distinguish between bonus/critical paths. He still has to call and command the entire dungeon. The only thing he will not have to do anymore is tell players to come pick up their key. Pretty much a good more in-depth look at the point we were getting at in saying in good teams everyone is kinda a 'keyer' (if you take keyer as a more literal/less experienced sense of getting keys to doors) while the actual keyer takes on more of a leader role managing these various elements.

Clue scrolls and Ring of wealth
I know it never used to effect them, I thought this remained after the update to RoW as well. Guess I was mistaken.
