New Photo (Been a while)
Seriously, the WB is not far off what was actually there, it's only marginally more orange than it was. We have a fair few orange-ish 'natural' street lamps around, with the thick clouds blocking out all natural light and the snow reflecting the street lamps around it made everything orangey

SC tools and BXPW
During bxpw absolutely NO bonus xp items work, this includes sc tools. If you do use them, they will not drain of charge and will not produce any form of boost at all. The same applies to brawlers, BA Horn, Hati paws, skoll boots etc. etc. etc.

Evil Trees
Yeah that page has all the info you need. But yeah there is a whole collection of spawn locations and when it spawns it will be at one of those locations, on the very same square. However which location it uses is randomised. Eg it won't always be south of draynor, but when it is south of draynor it will be in the exact same spot every time.

Defining lag
Unless your internet connection is getting worse, it is not lag; kinda the whole point of the thread is to explain this. Commands don't execute as quickly as ever for me. It takes some time to move/switch pray/attack after clicking. If i understand his explanation correctly, i'm still experiencing lag and not performance issues... But all those delays may well, and probably are, just graphical delays associated with poor performance. Eg If you click to move, then after a few seconds you 'jump' several squares, it means the command went through and you did move but the low performance means it was not rendered on your screen immediately. For actual lag you will walk/run at normal speed after a few seconds, because that is when the command reached the server. If you click to attack, nothing happens, then after a few seconds you suddenly see a whole heap of damage splats; the attack command went through but low performance meant it was not rendered on your screen immediately. For actual lag you will just enter combat at normal speed after a few seconds. A good way to judge it is the ping given on world select screen, if the ping is reasonably low it is not lag as your connection is just fine it will be poor performance causing the visual delays. Another way to judge it is via a friends help, if you tell them exactly when u click over phone or w/e then if they see you move instantly (while you don't at your end) it's performance issues not lag.

Easy Falador Task problem
maybe try the other pump there are 2 The task specifies the pump north of the west bank. Have you tried filling it both ways? eg click fill on the pump and use bucket > pump

Possibility of a members free trial in the coming months
This is exactly what I'm driving at. Everyone says f2p is boring, outdated etc letting them do a little bit more will encourage people to buy members, but it still stands to reason WHY anything more they do get will become old and out-dated same as current f2p. I mean sure it *could* be a time limited try and if you happen to be rather rich (for a f2per) you could buy up decent armour and supplies and hit some of the boss monsters, but by and large your not gonna get to do anything *that* exciting, a few noob quests that are shorter & easier than many f2p quests perhaps or you could do the boring nooby bits of a few members skills. I mean its not like you could even get to the most interesting pvm content really (atleast not for long), Corp you need to first get 30ish summon, hunter and farming to unlock it so of course first you need to get seeds and charms and manage to get across the map to decent hunter training areas (bearing in mind of course no fairy rings, spirit trees, gliders are unlocked and neither are watchtower, ardougne and camelot teleports and you won't have con level to move house over that way). You could do GWD perhaps, after you get 15 agility and probably 30ish herby for death plateau, troll stronghold and Eadgar's ruse (unless you want to be running alllllll the way from burthorpe every trip, but of course to do eadgar's ruse you have to travel to camelot and ardougne a few times, again with lack of transport options). etc. Even with a 7 day open roaming trial you'd get to do sod all really of anything decent due to prerequisites & transport limitations.

Behind the Scenes - February
But lag is NOT a universal issue. Plenty of people are lag free, I'd hazard a guess that the lag free people make up the majority now. It IS an universal issue of many people, just not everyone. It has become much worse with recent updates though, the newest one being the tutorial update which cut my FPS in half(and that of many others). I guess it's certain hardware/driver/whatever incompatibilites that are causing this. I hope Jagex has a fix for this soon :/ As for how many people are lag free depends on how you define "lag free". Over 20 fps? If it is NOT effecting everyone it is NOT a universal issue. Universal issues effect EVERYBODY.

This relies on the assumption that the new area will have anything to get monsters stuck behind. All the area need is a boundary for that tactic to work. Not really, in fight caves (unless I am facing some majorly weird bug) unless 90s/360s/jad are almost completely behind the a rock outcrop they can still attack, not just stuck on a corner like meleers. You can trap monsters between the wall and another monster. Since Jad is so big, that's fairly easy to do. Jad will only move when you're out of range but standing under him counts as well, so you can 'walk' him to the wall. I still don't see how that helps when they can range and mage through/over/around other monsters That wasn't so hard now, was it. Oh doh yeah I get what ya meant now. Though (getting even more speculative) if anything ends up with stomp attacks that tactic wouldn't work either.

The problem is that most of F2P content is over 10 years old; F2P and P2P are very different nowadays. For example: In F2P quests you rarely do anything except talk to people and fetch stuff for them, and the quests are very short. There are no storylines. P2P quests often give access to completely new areas. You have to solve puzzles, fight powerful bosses and so on. The longest quests can take hours to complete. There are a lot of great storylines. Most F2P monsters only melee, and require no strategy at all. No monster really requires combat level higher than around 50. There are melee, mage, range, magical melee and magical range monsters in P2P, and many of them combine different styles. The strongest bosses require a combat level of well over 100, and even then you usually need a team to fight them. You need different equipment for different monsters. I could do many more comparisons, but my point is that F2P is not a slice of the members' "cake"; it's a completely different cake. But nearly all the f2p quests have been made over quite recently to have better stories, better content, better rewards. F2p got given a good chunk of dungeoneering recently. Most p2p monsters require no strategy and use predominantly melee. Sure stuff caps at out about cmb lvl 50, but so does combat gear available to the player; the trial/demo/watever you wanna call it has to cut off somewhere. And I still find myself asking why? Yes members stuff goes to higher levels, takes more time, is more complex but that is why it is MEMBERS. The free taster to wet your appetite is the simple stuff, its not like in a short free trial of members you are ACTUALLY going to achieve many, if any, of the awesome stuff you seem to be fixated on because of prerequisites that you could barely get in a short lived free trial.

New Photo (Been a while)
Couldn't use tripod cause of angle & a bit ill (watery eyes and such) so I'm not sure what focus is like, but it seems passable from what I can see. Needs editting obviously to tweak white balance*, but it was right outside my window and I thought it looked quite picturesque. Any feedback? *Oddly enough its not the white balance that made it yellow between clouds and snowy caked lamposts it really is yellowy/orange outside! But I still intend to make it more 'real' colouring

^ Yeah debating what exactly they mean is a good thing, especially if it makes people aware that something is more ambiguous than they realised so they can avoid being overly disappointed if it turns out to be an analogy rather than an actual in-game happening.

Level 72 - 80 agility
For best xp rates, to the best of my knowledge, you swap to gnome advanced with pies at 75/76, the xp per lap difference is big enough to compensate for failing once in a while, especially since on advanced courses you cannot completely fall off or lose the lap bonus via a failing and only the first obstacle (where advanced branches off) requires the level specifically.

Possibility of a members free trial in the coming months
I believe that a f2p, who has gotten a taste of members is more likely to stay than one who has only seen the f2p aspect. this would lead to a increase in players. I find myself saying "why?" to a statement like that. Why exactly is a taste of a slither more of the world, or 1 or 2 more skills going to suddenly make a player desire the game that much more? The game you see in f2p is a taste of the members game in the first place, so why would that little bit more make any difference? After a few weeks or months wouldn't that little bit more just become same old like current f2p? Especially when you consider with Jagex's graphical makeover policies etc a lot of the members content looks rather aweful cosmetically compared to free to play areas. I mean if I went to a shop and got a free sample slice of cake I'd either desire the cake or not. Having another tiny slice of the same for free isn't going to suddenly change my outlook on buying the cake.

I wasn't trying to argue anything; just contributing to the discussion/debate. I just noted, even saying it was off-topic, that while those definitions work they are by no means they be all and end all definitions and then just clarified myself as people took what I meant wrongly.

Hati Gloves and Skoll boots
Maybe i should clarify. I meant by that formula, they would last your level*10k. Meaning at level 90, they would last 900k worth of experience, but you would get a total of 450k boosted experience. Dealing with double experience is tough because sometimes people talk about it differently. One person can say "My gloves lasted for 500k mage exp" and one of them could mean they lasted for 500k overall experience, and the other could mean they lasted for 500k worth of bonus experience. Also combat skills present a problem because people often forget to figure constitution experience into their equations. My guess is that the EXP could be an independent figure every level. Either way it still is nowhere near right, so I fail to see your line of argument here. At lvl 90 you gained a total of around 1.2m - 1.3m xp. That is 600k - 650k normal and 600k - 650k bonus 90*10k = 900k 900k is more than the bonus xp by a good 300k, and less than the total xp gain by a good 400k These figures are taken from personal experience via the new xp counters on both skoll boots and hati paws. Using 1 counter set to agility xp and 1 set to combat xp I got overall figures, including consitution, for how much xp I gained on the items.

Doh, I never said they can't be used or are invalid Just that as they are made-up terms that are not defined by law or by the dictionary or by any other universal defining body they are not the be all and end all definition and people are perfectly entitled to use any other terminology (within reason) they see fit and it holds just as much validity.

At the risk of going off-topic ^ is A definition that can be applied, however there is no dictionary or legal definition that makes those wordings any more valid than anything else someone can come up with.

Woman wins $9,867 in small claims court over "false" MPG figures.
Still the fact remains based on the info we have there is just as much proof of it being a proper case than of it being bogus. The statement from her and from Honda should both be disregarded as we have no logical reason or evidence to believe one over the other and they cancel out; you could argue 'Honda is a company it won't lie/its more trustworthy' but at the end of the day it's a known fact (especially in legal cases) big corporations WILL twist facts and evidence in anyway possible to show them in a good light. Equally you can argue some random woman could be lying for a quick buck. Both have their merits and we are in no position to judge ones statement (both specifically written to persuade people they are in the right) as more trustworthy than the other. As for the EPA thing yes they are perfectly entitled too, however it does suggest *something* is up when the EPA specifically contact them to suggest they lower the figure as they have concluded their tests won;t give accurate results for average driving on a hybrid. Also the fact the Honda employee testified to the fact that the irreversible software update to do with battery life is known to impact MPG as it makes the battery get used less and that this wasn't made clear in the information given to customers is kinda a flag post that it's not an entirely bogus case. Plus the whole fact the court did find in her favour (and previously the class action suits' favour) gives a strong suggestion that after thoroughly going through all the facts (which we don't have) there was a genuine case. I just find it ridiculous to think you can judge something better than a court when you barely known any of the facts about the case and the little information we do know could easily support either side.
