  1. Rs knowledge base = not confirmation or proof as it is been proven to contain typoed, false and plain invented information on several occasions; and nearly every article on there has atleast 1 error somewhere in it. And the mistakes are usually in the numbers for xp, item stats etc.
  2. Yeah it was good ole jagex with a subtle change. Remember the quest before when deflector arrived? Jagex changed void set from top, robe, gloves + helmet to ANY 3 pieces + helmet Run on a few months to the new quest and we get elite top and elite robe, but the rule still applys. ANY 3 pieces + helmet.
  3. Ruby bolts do indeed work and can be extreme helpful. Most guides recommend using ruby e until he goes berserk then swapping to dimaond e (since you cannot afford to lose health at this point) If however you have trouble beating him due to supplys running out diamond e all the way through work amazingly well. Its a slightly slower fight but due to not damaging yourself when you spec you save brews.
  4. No. Defence level has no bearing on how well you can use veng combos or anything at all other than how much damage you take.
  5. I fail to see your line of argument agaisnt me here? ZS prayer bonus insignificant = CLS is better ZS would get a few less kills = CLS is better ZS is less accurate on stab = CLS is better. Yes CLS probably costs more in the recharge unless you recharge it purely on tokens, but its still a better weapon for killing frost dragons. I mean no-one factors the cost of barrows repairs into things so why factor in CLS etc.
  6. Oh yeah totall missed that in my skimming. But still unless you have like <10 prayer bonus it doesn't warrant dropping like 20 stab bonus. 20 extra stab is gonna save you more in ppots than +2 prayer.
  7. But aren't the chaotic weapons far better at frosties? Since the whole point is dragons are weak to stab, so you want maximum stab bonus. cls has 107 stab cr has 94 Zammy spear has 85 I fail to see how prayer relates to this since non have prayer bonus, but with the stab usage in mind ZS is clearly the worst choice of the 3, especially after you factor in that it is 2 handed opposed to 1 handed meaning you sacrifice shield spot to use it. Bandos is probably better option than veracs depending on what prayers you are using and your stats; but theres no grounds what so ever to say ZS is better weapon.
  8. He doesn't technically mention it. Only that he is working to create a more powerful magic stock based x-bow (whihc dwarves wont do as they hate magic and they r the source of other cbows) People assume this will be dragon. Since yew stock > rune. Maple stock > addy etc so magic stock logicall goes to dragon.
  9. No, because they won't tell you if you guessed correctly. What I meant is that if you got it wrong, you wouldn't recover your password, so you would know that you were at least close if you got it right. No because they ask for more than 1 thing. Also when you guessed wrong they would note it and it would be flagged up that you ip was obviously guessing incorrect info.
  10. probably windows 7 starter. It supports like NOTHING
  11. Yeah they use it in recoveries to prove ur account creator; even though its dumb because most people dont remember the date since when you start you don;t think of it as that important and years later you wont recall it.
  12. It all depends when they were written and how diverse the skill is. The guides with them tend to be older ones and they aren't necessarily all that up to date.
  13. Correction: "Virus" is incorrectly used as a blanket term for all malware. I don't see a difference between what you said and he said. Are you guys really just arguing about the same thing now? His point is in true technicality Virus refers only to a infectious computer program that replicates itself to over run a computer, much like a human viral infection does. This however has no bearing on the fact virus is used widely as a blanket term for all types of malware, hence you get Norton Anti-Virus etc despite the fact they cover everything.
  14. Virus is a blanket term for things that intend to do the system harm or steal from it in some way. A javs trojan is a form of virus.
  15. Its still a virus even if you have to clikc a link for it to activate.
  16. If your adamant you're never gonna get members beyond the trial; it would be an utter waste of time to do any quests or skills that are members only.
  17. I've used chrome while playing runescape for quite some time now and have never had these issues the op is having. I would suggest clearing the jagex cache so everything in the game loads fresh. If that doesn't work then try the new browser. Thats what makes chrome so marvelous it never does the same thing for two different users. But it does have java issues, some people never see them others plain can't use java. Some get java but it bugs out. etc.
  18. hmm perhaps it was both. I know read somewhere about it being done for virus stuffs
  19. Yeah. Same thing happened for windows a long time ago. It makes sense, if they bundle it with the OS they have to support it - if oracle builds their own mac version oracle has to support it. Windows was very similar situation. Windows had java by default. Hackers/Virus makers abused java as a doorway in. Windows removes java as standard from OS. Since now only java gamers download java a good 98% of windows users no longer have java thus making windows java viruses (outside specific hacks for java games) pointless.
  20. Yeah only reason sun/oracle don't do their own mac release is that apple builds their own mac version into the mac os. As soon as they stop sun/oracle will prob release their own mac build.
  21. When I had it on recurring monthly payments I always got the number of days in tht month, it even says in Jagex FAQs somwhere that a "month" of membership is subject to the month in which it is bought unless they changed it very recently.
  22. lies! lol Its $.17 (works out to 16.6 so round up) per day in September, April, June & November. $.18 per day for February (rounded up) $.17 per day in February leap years (rounds down) and $.16 a day in all other months (rounded down) Errm, as far as i know, and i've been a member for around 5 years or so, it's 30 or 31 days of members for 5/6 dollars, thus it doesn't vary for different months. When you buy by the month it gives you the number of days in that month. When you buy in feb you get 28 days, in sept, april, june n nov 30 days and 31 in the rest.
