So megas for lopunny (normal/fight with scrappy) and altaria (fairy/dragon with pixelate) plus salamence (dragon/flying with aerilate) Kinda seems like the page layout might house a 4th mega too beneath Altaria, but not seen any details of that.

I have to say I never even knew it was censored before now, so it doesn't seem as though it is one that is being used by posters enough to need blocking. But I'd agree if the censor can do it we could just unblock a few triple variants eg oh!oh!oh! or oh! oh! oh! if there really is a concern about people using it as slang for a lady of the night.

Alternatively, people should join clans because they want to be a part of that clan, not because of the rewards.That's the spirit of it but ultimately it's still a game and people want a means to progress in the game. If clans are just a time sink to chat or something with no benefit, there isn't really much point.Oh snap, there goes my social clan ideas. No benefit to anyone, obviously. Just remove the whole social/community clan recruitment forum on rsof. [bleep] me since I don't care about xp, must mean there's no benefit to a clan. The thing is, for all the moaning about xp of clans people do, most of the clan citadel plots aren't half bad xp since they buffed them earlier in the year. By all means they aren't the tip top pinnacle of the metagame - but they aren't all that bad either for many plots. Crafting and smithing particularly are rather sweet for the hefty xp at 0 gp cost. Heck citadel is the only reason I got 99 craft.

Honestly, I get the feeling that a lot of the things they banned would pretty much have gone straight to ubers if they weren't released alongside mons that were even more hideously broken. Even then, if it's a handful of mons that are able to invalidate entire formats... can't really argue with people wanting them gone. And that is the point I'm trying to make. This gen released like 10 mons with 150+ base offenses. If you ban one powerful thing, you have to ban the next powerful thing, then the next. People will always complain about something being too strong. Just look back to gen 5 when they tested Keldeo. It is a great mon, with great stats, great typing, and a great movepool. However, being strong doesn't make it broken. I'm just surprised that they didn't test Pinsir-M before Mawile-M. I have a lot more issues with that thing. I think the powerful bans are reaching a tipping point. There's still *just* to few too really allow them in the metagame, without the metagaming just being all them all the time; but at the same time we are getting close to the point where is is just about enough to justifying being a new fairly varied tier unto themselves.

Because its a temporary month of clans thingy, they didn't change all the descriptions etc. Temporary?? I didn't think so... Thats what the news post implies: It mostly definitely says those bonuses are part of 'clan month' as they come directly under that heading and that clan month only runs til aug 31st. It's why they are separate from the 'clan improvements' section.

Doubtful since boss slayer is independent of normal slayer. The closest you'd get, I expect, is 2 people on the same assignment can both get kills working together as bosses give xp drops, and thus kills, to everyone who hit em.

I see no reason why you would forgoe experiencing batch 1 in order to wait for the whole of it. Also, it's likely that there will be many unbalanced things in batch 1 - may as well take advantage of them while you can - the early bird always wins in RS. Also, this way you won't be completely overwhelemed by a large swathe of new content if you don't do any of it and just wait till december. Well the early bird always wins apart from drop tables which nearly always get boosted later on, or upfront gp/points prices that nearly always get lowered, or anything where you might enmass die since they nearly always bug graves out on them things...

It won't be new books. We already voted in the poll for Seren prayers and spells to be added to the ancient books. And arguably they fit in perfectly with the ancients because they derive from Seren a being equally as ancient and as powerful as Zaros - who supplied the current spells and curses. It'll just be revealing the other side to the ancient power we already access part of. Though adding them to the ancient books (if jagex does it right) wouldn't mean you need the existing ancients to access them - each set could easily act to offer access to the book with just their content, whilst the other could just add content to it. Just be a case of splitting it into more variables, like atm ancient prays is a yes or no binary, as is magic. Split that into a yes or no for access to the book, plus a yes or no for zaros content and a yes or no for seren content. Then the original zaros unlocks can be setup to overwrite book and zaros to yes - resulting in giving the book access with just zaros content. Whilst the seren unlocks can be setup to overwrite book and seren to yes - meaning if you did them first they'd give book access with just seren content. And in either case w/e one you did later would be overwriting yes with yes on book access, but also adding a yes for their half of the content.

Elf this month = about zero new content beyond the quest. City batch 1 is september Batch 2 is nov This is JUST the quest. Also it won't be elves. Last weeks bts expressly said next weeks bts is about plagues end. Bts vids come pre-launch ergo elf quest wont be before friday the 8th making it most probably the game update for the 11th.

I knew it! Didn't knew they changed it tho... that's why it always took me soo long to level these babies in X/Y =(. Proves you learn something new everyday, even though it's like 10 years overdue. They didn't really change it, the friend ball and luxury ball are entirely separate - you can even obtain both via normal in-game methods in HG and SS Even still possible to have pokemon in friend balls via transfers (dunno if the secondary effect applies to the new breeding ball inherit though. I'd guess no since description specifies wild and caught) just need to be mons from gold,silver,crystal, heart or soul

True that is great if you want to EV em up. 16 vitamins will get ya maxed after all Vitamin being a basic +5, +3,+2 for 0-99, 100-199 and 200-255 +1 extra for soothe bell +1 again for luxury ball *3 for max befriending power. Means you can get +21 for 5 vitamins to get to 105 +15 for the next 7 for 210 +12 for the last 4 to get to 255 (258 to be exact but can't go past max) At Lioness afaik that is NOT what luxury ball does at all. Luxury ball simply adds +1 some friendship gains. Nothing on the major fansites seems to suggest its auto 200 either and all pokemon I have in them are not 200 from capture. Namely vitamins, ev lowering berries and the rare sodas from juice shoppe. But anyway since I'm just doing it for living dex the lazy way works for me! If I have enough left over for befriend power after hatching stuff i use that too for even quickerness.

I can't imagine there are really. Even with people having got it down somewhat theres still a lot of debate over how some mechanics work, and potentially several mechanics we haven't even seen. All told probably be mid-late august before we seen any really solid cover everything guides.

When it comes to levelling up by friendship I am so glad I have a 5p coin at all times XD Perfect size to wedge under the directional stick + centre of lumiose city = constant biking in a circle, leave it for like 30mins-1 hour and boom max friendship.

Evolution of PVP combat!
It'd be nice if just sometimes when people posted screenshots of rsof threads they could include the darn qfc so we could find the actual thread easily. For me the override thing with the wildy is although we do need reasons to make people go in there, setting people up as pure cannon fodder is not a good mechanic.As previously suggested there should be ways and means of players who have't pked (or undertaken certain activities e.g. warbands) to move/escape/be a bit safer in the wilderness so that they stand a fighting chance of survival if a host of pkers comes upon them. Also the issue of storage within the wilderness means imo any training methods in there ought to be more resourceless-based stuff. Like maybe there could be some giant brambles that are like high xp ivy and you can (much like kharazi jungle) make you way into them so that if you a pker comes you aren't immediately in danger and have some scope for escaping if they aren't organised to pin you down. I also think a sort of bounty mechanic could work well where by killing others increases your bounty and a player with a higher bounty on them will drop extra valuable stuff. But of course it'd need to have some anti-boosting type mechanics on it like say the last 50 unique kills you get are stored and killing them again won't alter your bounty value and the last 20 or so unique kills won't get your bounty if they then kill you. I dunno just something in that ballpark maybe.

Part of me wonders how any guide can be complete at this stage. With 23 different tactics available in the rotations I get the impression, akin to Vorago, potentially the tunnels we've seen and stuff in phase 3 and 4 are not the only things that can happen. Cause unless there is a lot of tactics used in the fight that no-one has bothered to mention on forums or in-game we aren't up to the magic 23 yet. I think they are also referring to the mechanics as both environmental effects, attacks and conditional effects. Here is a list i came up with. spawn attack focus (conditional) melee standard attack ranged standard attack magic standard attack web burn (environmental) drag (conditional) swipe attack cocoon web healing autoheal egg drop mirrorback spawn pulse spider spawn bomb (conditional) acid absorption (environmental/conditional) ramp charge darken spawn acidic spider crush acidic spider (conditional) wall destruction (environmental) spawn highly acidic spider (conditional) 25% health rage - acid ball araxxor health transfer leftover minion spawn 50% health rage Chris L might have been thought of some of these as officially part of the 23 and others probably part of other mechanics. The point is the boss is very, very fluid in use of mechanics between all phases. See I wouldn't call half the them separate tactics. Health rages are both the same thing. Arraxxi drain from araaxor isn't a tactic its just a progression of the fight with an npc swap. Left over minion spawn and the other minion spawns again I'd lump into 1 "spawn minions" thing. I wouldn't count the drag as independent of the cleave/swipe either since it is part of it. I wouldn't call the standard attacks tactics either - tactics are special things the boss does, not the basic attacks.
