Blog Update: LIVID FARM SHALL HAUNT ME NO LONGER! The main thing I had holding me back from the comp cape has finally been completed! Now I do still have DG, Bosses and other things still to get, but Livid was always that one thing I didn't want to do. But thanks to the double point weekend, I finally managed the grind and got it done! I also got these from a boss slayer task: And of course, I have yet more double clues for you: Currently I'm working on a money goal, so I can purchase gold members at the end of the year. I really want to buy it with bonds, not only to save rl money but to say I actually saved enough cash to do so. In terms of my OS elite clue that I still haven't finished, I will get around to it. Its just so much of a level grind, and with grinding out Livid, I'm not in the mood for it yet. But rest assured, I shall finish it eventually. And of course, I am still working on the clue goal. Its coming up to a year since I started it, and I may just have to celebrate that in an epic way. Maybe. :D

It could also be the god from Karamja, nothing is known about them.

With all the DC's on OS, it doesn't look like I'll be getting the levels any time soon :(

Following the elite clue stream, I'm also going to be removing all 3 of the dyes. I have, however, already gotten the Barrows dye. I'm not going to be selling it, it will stay in my loot tab, but it will no longer be counted as an item in the main clue goal. So to be specific, these 3 items that are being removed are: Barrows Dye Shadow Dye Third-Age Dye

Blog Update: CLUE SCROLLSSSSSSSS I'm still grinding out the levels I need for the elite clue on OS, but I figured I'd post these double clue pictures from RS3 before I got WAYY too many for a single post. Oh the things I do for clues.

They changed the map clue for this med location...its too pretty to not share! If they changed all the map clues to be as pretty as this, I would not complain!

I have finally got all the requirements for that step. Urgh. Next step took me back to Vannaka, a welcome relief from questing. ANOTHER SODDING CLUE. This one made me got visit Dobson in Ardy. And he must really hate me, because he's decided I have to go all the way into the wildy, on the highest co ordinate point available. This is just not my day. And yet again, another wildy clue. [bleep]! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO The next clue is for a bloody black salamander. 5 attack, 10 range and 21 mage levels. WHY, [bleep]ING WHYYYYY

Quests and levels completed! Time to buy the items needed and head on back to Neitiznot to the rune rock. And thats where I find out, I have to do the entire isles quest to get to the rune rock. WHY DO YOU HATE ME SO JAGEX? HAVE I NOT APPEASED YOU ENOUGH?!

Managed to get through the quests, barely, and got to the next step of the clue. Got a riddle that led me to Varrock's very own fraud. Next step....3 more stupid quests. Sea Slug, Wanted and Slug Menance. [bleep]S SAKE

Finally managed to get 65 attack and 65 strength to complete the next set of the old school elite. Next set was a co ord that lead me to...Neitiznot. DAMN IT NOW I HAVE TO DO MORE QUESTS

Following the stream for 10k hard clues opened, I have decided, based on average rates and what the Jmods have said, to remove 3 items from my goal and add them to the not collecting but cool pile that 3a would sit in. These 3 items are: Explosive Barrel Sack of Effigies Backstab cape I'm going to be looking at the elite stream next week as well, and that could lead to the removal of 3a dye. I don't know any facts for sure on dyes yet, other than the fact that I have a barrows dye already. I may change all 3 dyes to the not collecting section of my goal as well, but until next week their place is uncertain.

Last couple of days have been pretty hectic, lots of real life crap to be doing. I've been focusing (on Jason's advice) on some quests to get combat xp and because they do actually need doing. Tomorrow I'll be doing Haunted Mine and Monkey Madness with him, if he gets the levels anyway. Once I've done that, and I have the levels needed to get into the warriors guild, I'll complete the next step of the elite and have more tales of doom to tell. Here's hoping I won't get purple sweets!

I don't really blame you for that. Most of the times I made posts without even knowing what I was talking about. But that wasn't the case with this thread though since unlike previously I actually thought if it was a good idea to make it or not. And I'm glad. I'm also taking into consideration if I'd use what I get or not. I don't sell nature runes or law runes since I plan on using them. Same goes for the royal dragonhides, rune bars and the antifire potions. If I don't sell the items I'd use, they really are worth less than regular hard clues. Well you could look at it from a money saved stand point then? :p

Whilst I am not 100% sure if this will help you, Blaze, I'd say you were wrong about the general worth of Elites. Considering just how many of each tier of clue I've done, and by working out an average (which I can further support in two weeks, thanks to Jagex doing a stream of 10,000 elite caskets being opened), I would say that elites are still worth more than hards. Yes, the actual clue item may not be worth much, but its the other loot in the clue that pushes up the worth. With the various herb and tree seeds, royal dhide and even the unicorn horns, it adds up to a pretty nice total.

Simple. Stockholm Syndrome. I tried explaining this to a tipsy person and they just could not understand it. Do you need loot from every type of clue, or just certain difficulties? I'm collecting the loot from every tier of clue. The only items I'm not getting are 3rd Age. I was asking if you need loot from only certain difficulty clues now; as in have you finished all the easy difficulty loot. But I'm guessing now, that that's a no I haven't completed anything set wise other than all the clue items you can get from any level. I don't want to complete a tier outright yet, because I don't want to end up camping for certain clues. I like an even mix of all four.

Lol. Elite clue is trolling you. I just got one yesterday too and found out I had to get 63 hunter to catch a red chin. And I'm determined to complete it as well. Good luck on your loot! Better be worthwhile. :D Knowing my luck it'll just contain a single purple sweet.

I've just completed the level gains I needed and completed the second step. 3rd step is an anagram to speak to a dude in the wildy, so that step can be completed too. 4th step was a riddle. A riddle that needs me to be on the top floor of the warriors guild. 60 attack and 50 strength. 15 Strength and 5 Attack levels needed. GOD DAMN IT ELITE CLUE!

So yesterday I went to go to collect a clue from Big Mo in OSRS. This was a bad idea. I ended up getting an elite with 903 total level. Oppsie. Instead of dropping it, I decided that I would try my hardest to complete it. So far, I've done one step of the clue. To do that, I needed to do In Search and In Aid of the Myreque, so I could start Darkness of Hallowvale to access a co ord. The second step? Requires 60 attack and 60 Range, which means I need to get 37 range and 10 attack levels. Urgh. Watch this space, I will complete it!

Blog Update: 500 Hard Clues done! I know I haven't been updating as much as I could, I've been playing Terraria and reading and watching and all that general stuff. I have been messing around on RS, though, and have some things to show for it. As of this moment, I have all the golden fish eggs except Trout, which is refusing to drop. I don't know if I will go for the two different plugs just yet, but maybe in the future I will. I also got 30m HP xp today as well. Now, lets have some pictures! Another comp req bites the dust. And my second quad loot clue: You may have already seen this picture (I posted it on the pic sticky earlier), and I did re-roll it, but its interesting. Four more clue items to my tab and I'll be able to share an update picture from it. I'm getting to the really slow part now, so its taking longer to get the items that I need.
