How exactly can you tell everyone else is a bot? I understand making the safe assumption that at least 50 of the accounts are bots, but when it comes to pinpointing a handful as the only legitimate players... how can you tell?

Huh? 242 people have 200M hunter experience? How is that possible? I swear, I remember only like a month and a half ago people were talking about if SUOMI finishes getting hunter really quick he could still sneak into the top 100. So like, 150 people have gotten 200M hunter experience since then?

I think it has to be back in 2008 when I got 99 defense. I got 800k defense experience straight to get it. That was at bandits with whip and rune defender and super strength pots and I used piety for the last 100k experience.

Yeah man thank God I didn't sell them! I was about to sell them for 450 one day but then they announced the "Bot Nuke". Thank goodness! I have 215k so once I sell them I should be able to make some real money flipping. I'll be the richest I've ever been on this game except for maybe in 2004 when at level 72 combat I traded a whip and a cannon and 2 sets of full rune and a berserker helmet and mystic robes to a level 36 for a DRAGON CHAIN that they found on the ground. I just want to maximize my money from the hundreds of hours I spent collecting them. I finally have some time to play again since filming for my HBO show is finished.

Anyone who criticizes SUOMI for how much time he spends playing runescape, remember that what he is going to accomplish is going to so colossal that it will most likely be the grandest achievement in MMORPG history. So in other words, he will be breaking a world record. So those of you who criticize SUOMI should go get the latest Guinness Book of World Records and point to 80% of the world record holders and mock them as well. I hate to quote a diabolist, but "do what thou whilt". Assuming you aren't killing people or something of that nature. That is obviously different. Oh and the guy who said that SUOMI is a leech of society, that is not correct. He doesn't live off the government or money borrowed from others, so he is not a leech.

I can't believe I have more hunting exp than the great SUOMI. It would have been kind of cool if you only had 98 hunter that way you could still fly under the radar. Then probably 98-99 percent of runescape would have no idea who you are and then one day BAM they see this weird guy has an absolutely astonishing lead on second place, with over 4.7B exp while second place probably won't even have 4B yet.

South park was absolutely terrible the first half of this season. The last episode of the first half of the season was a cliffhanger with commentary at the end which made the audience think that Matt and Trey, the creators, were getting sick of the show and that everything was the same week in and week out and it all seemed kind of "shitty". (It was dialogue about divorce but seemed like their conversation was a conduit for how Matt and Trey felt). Anyways, the second half of the season has been hilarious so far and they have gotten back to their roots. It almost seems like they intentionally made the first half of the season terrible so that people would start thinking the show jumped the shark, and then further threw fuel on the fire with the cliffhanger episode. (They really need to stop using feces as a metaphor in every episode though, seriously) What I am saying is, Maybe Jagex is doing what the creators of South Park did. They intentionally let all of the botters bot "without consequences" but secretly recorded names the whole time. They did punish an account here or there just so people didn't get suspicious or irreparably turned off. And then the past week they had a brutal "flop" with frost dragon bots and made a message of distress saying how they can't do it without us. Now that they set it all up, it will make it ALL THAT MUCH GREATER when bots are GONE FOREVER!!!! TL;DR If this was too long for you to read then get an attention span for crying out loud.

What about grenwall spikes?

Of course they are, people are posting 'stock up on resources' and 'prices will soar' everywhere, both on RSOF and fansites (including here). There's alot of excitement, it's nearly a hype. Some people are actually selling lower tier rares to scrape together enough money to invest in bulk resources. Either way, prices will likely crash soon after the update: - Either it won't have the effect they hoped for, in which case the result speaks for itself. - If they do get rid of most bots, however, people will be sitting on a huge stockpile of resources they'll be trying to get rid of as fast as possible, hoping to make a quick buck. In this instance, prices will crash before they stabilize and rise again. If bots do disappear, do you think grenwall spikes will reach 1k within three months?

If the bots actually vanish then I could see someone capitalizing big time and getting richer than anyone ever thought possible. Someone might be able to get a trillion GP!

I think your claim that captchas are much more of a hassle than lifting an evil twin with a crane and popping a balloon three times is ridiculous. Jagex would be able to make captchas that bots couldn't solve. Captchas have evolved since the 90's you know.

Captchas have evolved since the 90's too. There are captchas that no software can hack yet. I think simply entering a captcha is much easier and less annoying than picking an evil twin with a crane or popping a certain type of ballon THREE DAMN TIMES.
