That would be awesome. Probably the best solution I've read, although sure it would probably foster inflation, but the people who buy gold, are those who care about their image in the game, if buying gold means they have to permanently sacrifice their image through a "brand" if you will identifying them as a gold buyer, fewer people will be inclined to buy gp. It could work I think. Jagex also has the ability to make your stats not appear in the hiscores anymore. That coupled with the symbol would I think highly reduce the amount of people who wish to buy gold. Could also be a good punishment for bots if jagex is intent on not banning them. It would be a good deterrent for players thinking about botting.

To pk in main gear with a low combat level, obviously.

This has been said for years now. Meh, I've played since 02 and it's honestly the first time I've felt like this.

Pures at that combat level always carry a few ice barrages. Could do good with staking though. And obby tanks are not really unique.

As long as there's a symbol by the display name denoting them as gold buyers I'd go with microtransactions and 95% of bots disapearing.

Really can't see runescape being here in 2016 (5 years from now). It's on its last legs as it is. And I can guarantee micro transactions would have been introduced by then. Unless MMG has been disposed of.

This could be a very useful update when it comes to other mini-games.
