I've read this thread quite often alot but finally decided to post. All those Dg times are crazy >.> very nice. I actually just created a diy f2p account so I might post a few update pics here once in a while and ask for some help! Otherwise you can stalk my blog in bs. Actual question though; are there any good law rune droppers besides hill giants ._.?

Nice to see you made a blog too! Thanks for the banner (Which I think is awesome). Good luck with all of your goals :D -

Ooh, I thought creating an account with an e-mail automatically registered it... I'll have to do that! I can't speak fully for Josh but I plan on doing combats on hill giants for natures/laws/body talismans, and doing alot of silver mining/crafting. Iron superheating will be an option once I get more natures... but there aren't many droppers lower than Hills to my experience. Currently loving Runecraft though, still trying to decide wher FoG and GoP fall under DIY rules though =p -

My names Steph(anie), although alot of people in 'Scape know me as Tranquil or Tranquil Sky. I've played Rs since October '01 on multiple accounts. Hopefully this will be my last account I make =p Bank as of 11/12/11: The small bank size is going to be one of my biggest challenges, who doesn't love collecting junk! Stats as of 11/12/11 Not the best, about One-Week's worth of diy goodness. Hoping to get 60+ All at some point. Criticism and advice is always welcome! -
Josh and Steph's f2p diy Blog
Steph posted a topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Banner was created with help from Soa, Thanks again! Introduction Welcome to our Duo Blog! We recently made two diy accounts, and decided to stay purely f2p. For the few that don't know what 'diy' means, we will not trade etc. We're mostly doing this solely for fun rather than any serious goals and would love to share our experiences with everyone else here. If anyone has questions or tips, feel free to post :D Our DIY Rules: No use of Grand Exchange for trading. No trading between other players (But we will trade between us) No picking up items dropped by other players, natural spawns are Ok. Use of in-store shops is allowed. -
:D Forgive my ignorance, but what cape are you wearing in your avatar? It was the clancape of my previous clan. Ah, thank you.

These sort of responses are baseless and fatuous. It's not bias, it's an opinion. As I said in one of my original comments, you never acknowledge the perspective you are so against. You don't state what case the "Fangirls" of Runescape players would put up. I have no problem with any of your articles, as they are well thought out and usually make a point. They're just selfcentered and ignorant of any alternatives. I'd like to see you bring up and give your opinion on the otherside's case, just once.

Advertising as Rank 10 Overall. Thought I'd ask a few questions (such as why he's ignoring people who are inactive) Got kicked shortly after. (forgive the ton of typos, I was trying to kill a number of Chompies at the same time)

Who the hell likes citadels? Who the hell likes Runescape? I do and now that I can enjoy my Citadel in my favorite language I am happier. @Roswell; Everyone here.

Handcannon and Crossbows are the same speed. -
I could be completely wrong about this, but the way the Jagex Mod worded it, it seems like theres two "rolls" for drops. The first one takes consideration into how many barrow brothers you've killed, having 6 killed means a higher chance of getting a barrows item. Then the second "roll" (if you are to recieve a barrows item from roll 1) decides which piece you get, and excludes the 7th brother you did not kill. If thats true, you'll always get a piece of Akrisae's set, but it'll be alot more difficult.

Thats a good way of wording it Blauyante. I personally don't mind but I don't think thats an appropriate comment. People are free to follow whatever they want, the only reason people make an issue is when it's something they don't follow. I see nothing wrong with basing your Runescape values off of the dedication of a top player. The same goes for idolizing a movie star or someone who's overcome a great illness. Just because people have personal opinions doesn't mean you should take it personally.

All of his articles are one-sided. I've read each one, but this is the first time I've openly critisized his writing style. All his "Points" are valid because he completely ignores anything that would counter it. Choosing not to acknowledge (I didn't say accept) a different perspective is a poor way to go about things. I'd enjoy his articles more if he would consider other views, and at the least explain why he doesn't agree/why that wouldn't work. Until then, don't expect anything close to the truth.
-
I thought both articles were ok, the first one being too long to make such a simple point, with the second one being a bit boring, due to just summarizing a number of posts on the topic. I don't feel like Croce's article was bias at all, but I felt there were a number of things left out.

Don't state speculation as fact, thats just silly. Thankfully I already have the skills for ROTM and I'm interested in seeing all of the new outfits from Loyalty rewards!

Price for each?

In the end, Suomi is doing this for himself, so why complain about donations if they don't affect you at all.

How are you unsure about how you achieved your current level :S

Edit; pulli beat me to it.

There are several nonmacro players that enjoy Pest Control and Soul Wars. Just because you have no experience with these minigames and just because they are botted (What isn't?) doesn't mean actual players don't enjoy it. That's almost like saying that everyone who cuts Yews or Ivy is a bot.

They give a maximum of 700 xp bonus xp per action. I don't know how you get more than 28k xp per action in p2p. (Do they work with effigies? I don't think so.) This refers to each set of exp you get when you click on an altar/imbue a tiara. It's not easy to hit that 700xp/action except at ZMI (with luck) or GOP with Earth Runecrafting Gloves since the gop effect and gloves stack with Master Runecrafting Robes.
