  1. Seriously? so if I spot a bug/want to provide feedback during my unfairly allocated limited access to the Beta I can't post it onto the RSOF...way to treat your long term members Jagex.. You can report the bug in game. Can't provide feedback using in-game report function though, way to value our opinions Jagex :/ @Cheat that's why they have forum mods & JMods

  3. Is that based on each spell doing 'x' amount of damage or do 0s add adrenaline too?
  4. Spotted someone randomly in Beta :P
  5. Membership for runescape was introduced feb. 2002, so in theory some players may have had membership for 10 years consecutively, but I'm tending to agree it will follow 5 year vet cape, and go by date of creation rather than date of first membership. The only potential problem with that is Jagex does not have any records on accounts created during 2001. Records start once membership was introduced. So for extremely old accounts created in 2001, according to Jagex, they'd have been around since 2002 if they subscribed to members when it first came out. I don't see why Jagex wouldn't have records of account creations during 2001, They've kept records of accounts made pre-rs2, for the veteran's server of RSC they are still running. So in theory they should have account creation dates from the very start of runescape, i.e RSC 2001

  7. Problem is that means rewarding the gamblers/rare market traders that are doing nothing at all to help with the beta testing, other than stand around spamming h/c x2 buying blue phat 2bil etc. etc. Maybe they should find a way to reward beta testers that participate in 'x' amount of combat/testing etc. the same outfit that the rest of members can earn for doing these beta events without them having to jump through the same hoops us less luckier folks have to endure.
  8. Aren't they free from the dg reward shop in beta?
  9. They do listen :) chances of me making it into beta = still improbable least Jagex actually care about the beta enough to remove the time wasters though
  10. Now what would make you deserve the costume if you didn't jump through those hoops? They already have problems with people not testing out the beta, this would actually bring some people on the servers for once. What kind of fail logic is this. Okay, let's play. Bob plays everyday on the beta testing stuff and giving feedback. Next weekend, Bob has a camping trip and can't attend the events. Bob has a life and therefore doesn't deserve the reward. Nice logic you got there pal. The same logic that a player with over 4 years consecutive membership, that only lapsed membership for 3 months when he took a break and cash was low, didn't get into the beta. thus is forced to play beta only on the weekends when it not always the best time for him to 'scape. yet players get in that have just been abusing a beta rares market and duping rares instead of testing combat. typical jagex logic
  11. I agree with Tim, why should people that have been granted access to beta be allowed to gamble with items/gp that won't exist in a month or two, other players like myself that got refused beta access early have to wait to test out abilities/gear and help find bugs while they mess around mis-using there privileges. WIsh Jagex would remove the gamblers from Beta and give others the chance to try combat evolution that actually are interested in beta testing.
  12. I noticed armour as I couldn't be bothered swapping gear before I did quest, looks pretty decent tbh. Anyway quest completed, kinda meh, unexpected twist at end though, although I won't spoil it for others. Wonder what the extra rewards are though...
  13. Lolwut. Please elaborate. Well seeing as the xp is not shared good tasks i.e high slayer xp tasks would be undesirable duo tasks, as you would only get half the xp you usually would
  14. I see what they did there... isn't the 7th the day evolution opens to all members though, wonder if that will affect the turn out?
  15. thought they were making each god sword have the same stats with the hilt just being for decoration? That's what I heard too, all godswords are being made identical, hilts being purely cosmetic
  16. Wonder if that was part of the deal upon hiring, you get me(MMG) and my personal tank!
  17. Now watch them either remake the awesome red/blue platebody or completely forget about it :P I forgot all about that armour, I sided with the cultists and released hazeel, so never got the armour drop, would be interesting to see them complete the set as part of new quest rewards though. Definitely needs a graphical rework though if the rs wiki picture is any bearing of it's current appearence. If they do decide to complete the armour set, I hope they give a way to get the plate back, as far as I can tell it's only possible to claim during the quest not at a later date. Maybe the dad gives it you? or the boy when he 'becomes a man' at end of quest? OK just checked there is no way at all to claim the platebody after quest and if you chose to free hazeel, talking to the Carnillieans just results in angry confrontations and killing the cultist leader gives no drops what-so-ever.
  18. Everyone with a year or more continuous subscription to date, plus an additional 50,000 are able to access it. Wrong. :P Many have subscribed for the beta and didn't get chosen for it. (Been member since 2008 and I know many other tiffers in the same boat as me) In this boat, damn cancelling membs for 3 months in a 5 year period, means I've got to wait with everyone else :(
  19. What makes Jagex's quote even more confusing is that fact they say you make him dress up like a girl for one part of the quest...you really must wonder what goes through the heads of these quest developers
  20. Obviously it must have some higher level post quest areas to gain the extra rewards, but with such low stats to do quest makes you wonder how high levelled the top end gear reqs. are? the chest reward from quest seems pointless, a player made treasure trail in essence, but probably much less complex.
  21. Hmm so it seems royal d'hide for now just keeps it place between black and arma/karils..a less costlier non-degradable barrows alternate then? Still edged out in LP boost though, but defensively a good alt. although this depends how good/easy to obtain armadyl buckler/boots etc are i'm guessing. Still viable for lower def/welfare gear
  22. This week’s Behind the Scenes video brings you next week’s update, today! Carnillean Rising is a quest that you control, as you meet up with some familiar characters and help turn Philipe from a boy into a man. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lkGu01_p4g Discuss the Behind the Scenes video here. Quest looks interesting, as to the further rewards for higher levelled/higher combat players I wonder what they could possibly be...
  23. Agreed, I actually wanted beta access to like..beta test the new combat update, not gamble cash that won't be there by September :/ some players are true morons..
  24. Meh typical, I drop 3 months membership in 5 years of account activation and membership (well nearly 25 days til vet cape) and I don't make it into the beta :/ kinda wish I just kept paying for those 3 months now
