  1. 1) I am pretty sure they pushed it back due to many issues that we have asked as a community they would please clean up. 2) I would hope the insta-kill darts don't work on boss type scenarios for quest or quest like minigames. It is bad enough they might work against the bosses, and they are pointless if they only work against non-boss mobs. We don't know the restrictions of the kiln darts yet, but that would be pretty OP if they could work at jad/kiln Jmods already confirmed when instakill darts were mentioned in news post months ago, that darts would not work on fight pits/kiln, at best you can hope it works up to and including nex (as the original example they gave was fighting at GWD and 'chugging' your last brew). Too lazy to find the post but it was posted under original summer promotion discussion on here if anyone wants to quote it here EDIT: sorry my bad decided to be unlazy and find it myself and it wasn't ever Jmod confirmed, this is from the thread in question I was thinking of It was posted in the Sizzling summer thread that the darts can't be used on quest bosses or in kiln/caves. They didn't put their source, but provided that is true then these darts are just meh...I doubt they would work on Nex either. The example in the News post was GWD though? darts probably work up to all GWD bosses but nothing past them i.e. cave/kiln/QBD or quests.
  2. God wars rework is obviously going to be introduction of Bandos helm/gloves/shield & Nex level boots/gloves (torva) etc. in advance of EOC going live. Everything else wil be meh :/ quests are going to be beginner level due to starting storylines.
  3. Nothing IVPex does surprises me anymore...
  4. ...What could they possibly gain from canceling the event? That was more of a generalisation, I was saying don't be surprised if they change the bonus event to be worth more than just 1 item unlock like they have previously stated. It's all the the hidden quotes above my last post :P
  5. [spoiler=Wall of Quote/text] No it does not. All 4 outfit unlocks have come and gone. There is going to be a 'bonus' unlock in early september if you missed one of the 4. If you missed more than 1 of the 4 your still utterly screwed for getting it all. There may be a possibility that the bonus weekend will be worth more than 1 missed piece still, depends how many people are missing 2+ pieces I suppose. Either way I'll take part in the bonus event just to 100% guarantee I get myself the Steam Punk outfit even though I have done 4/4, 5/5 is better :) There is not. Jagex have said it will be be a single unlock for if you missed one previous weekend "While there’s no item unlock this weekend, don’t forget that we’re putting in an additional outfit-unlock weekend in early September, as a catch-up event. So if you missed an item unlock activity previously, you’ll be able to complete the catch-up activity in order to get access to the complete Mad Scientist Outfit. Sweet!" From the beta event BA post for this week. Note 'if you missed an item unlock' is in singular, not plural (which would be if you missed item unlocks). So it is for 1 item unlock. yeah but Jagex'sIVPex's word is worthless IMO, don't trust a thing they say til it's live content. In there eye's £ > keeping there word. Time will tell I suppose. Even when the content goes live, you can't assume that policy won't suddenly change. True actually, never trust anything IVPex say.

  7. While he was away for a long time playing IRLScape, that doesn't mean he lost all his brains. I'm sure gert would've been kept up to date with updates while he was on his 'scape hiatus, either of his own free will or not.

  9. That was my first thought, can't say I've ever seen a Mod Etch though before.
  10. Nice, very nice which mod signed it? Would love to own a piece of runescape history like that :D so jealous..
  11. Yeah but we have something DS never will, yelps :P

  13. A much needed improvement, al kharid will look amazing when update goes live, now we just need every other major city reworked to this standard, I vote we replace the 'rwt' content developers with more of the graphic developers.just sayin'..
  14. oh my...more rwt 'content' where is our weekly update this week IVPex...I want hunter D&D not Solomon and more SOF updates :/
  15. It's been confirmed as an Hoax supposedly by a Jmod, it may have given IVPex ideas though so maybe we will see it in the near future:/
  16. Lucky I just need dragon greaves to complete ceremonial set, refusing to buy spins on moral grounds though :D On a plus note landed a 1mil cash pile the other day
  17. Missed a day as in chose not to spin? or missed a day as in missed the entire 24hr block? (0:00 GMT to 23:59 GMT, or maybe it's BST?) I'm assuming he means he chose not to spin, I have done this in the past and spins never carried over.
  18. 208 days 20 hours and 135,617,478 total xp, I have 4 99s and this account is from 2007, seeing as I not too recently got my 5 year veteran cape. Could be worse but could be a lot better xp/99s wise I mean.
  19. He didn't accept gold artifacts. Now he does. Regardless, the only ones he did accept were so worthless no one did it, so the reward was bad. I wish instead of making the skilling animations buyable Jagex would put them in game for all players. They are still outdated compared to the buyable ones. It's like Jagex put a cap to how far they will update animations in the future. i really wouldn't be surprised. Ahh fair enough then, wonder if this update includes gold too and if quest is still a pre-requisite. And way things are going we may just have to pay real cash to be allowed to visit the 'fabled' Eastern Lands like Saradomin Mage said
  20. Not saw this anywhere on forums yet, feel free to discuss or lock/move thread if already posted elsewhere The news about Simon Templeton is saddening, I am 90% sure his acceptance of noted artefacts used to be an extra quest reward, gf those that did quest for that purpose.
  21. New to Solomon’s General Store: Introducing...Skill-Fu! 15 hours ago Greetings, adventurer. It is with great pleasure that I announce the release of seven remarkable new skill animations, available now at Solomon’s General Store! It is my very great pleasure to present: Skill-Fu! Let me begin with Roundhouse Woodcutting: a popular exhibition act in the Eastern Lands. Through immense discipline and great concentration, the body is capable of felling even the mightiest tree. For those with a leaning towards all things culinary, consider Samurai Cooking. The warriors of the Eastern Lands have a unique way of preparing food; with a flurry of slashes, vegetables are ready to eat faster than the eye can perceive. A truly distinctive talent to invoke awe in those around you, it brings the additional benefit of ensuring that nobody will complain about your cooking. These are merely a selection from this prestigious range. Practise Iron-Fist Smithing to shape metal to your will; channel your inner spirit with Chi-Blast Mining; slice through wood as if it were butter with Karate-Chop Fletching; and Sky-Jump Teleport to your location of choice. Each of these arresting animations is available exclusively from Solomon’s General Store and, furthermore, visiting members a 10% discount on all items. Also, as a special gift from myself, I am making the Zen Resting animation available free, exclusively to all members. Come along to my store today and claim your free gift! Remember: if you’ve yet to patronise my fine establishment, you can still claim 200 RuneCoins absolutely free, to spend on whatever your heart desires. Remember that if you wish to purchase additional RuneCoins, you can do so here, or by clicking 'Buy RuneCoins' inside my store. Until next time. Solomon Proprietor – Solomon’s General Store In Other News The Early Bird Bonus period for Some Like It Cold has been extended until the 28th of August. Members now have the option to toggle the in-game navigation bar on or off in resizeable and full-screen modes, using the Graphics Options screen. Members may find that the Clans button is not displayed the next time that they log in. To remedy this, either hide and unhide the navigation bar, or switch between display modes. A farmer has wandered into Al Kharid, and has kindly agreed to look after your cactus patches for six cadava berries per cactus. Simon Templeton will now accept noted artefacts. Discuss this here. View the Patch Notes Archive here. Also the next part of islander outfit is on solomon's store now, barefeet. Surprised it hasn't been announced.
  22. it's changed recently then, I logged in and never spun just after runespan was released. My spin count stayed at 5 for 3 days, 2 free spins + 3 from runespan skilling tickets, unless it's changed when they introduced the 10x spin updates.
  23. Seems more likely they came from earned spin tickets from skilling/combat/D&Ds, the spins your allocated daily don't carry over, they get taken off you and reallocated upon server reset. Or you keep say Monday's spins and lose Tuesday's for example. Also there limit has risen it seems, used to be capped at 10 spins you could hold at one time.
  24. But I believe this would SAVE Jagex money by not needing to have so many CS staff dedicated to account thefts and hackings. The initial set up cost may be high, but should offset itself with the reduction in CS workers Jagex needs to hire, therefore saving Jagex money in the long run, but seeing the attitude IVPex are taking valuing a fast return over slow profit I'm not holding my breath..we can dream I suppose: :)
