I did 87-->99 hunter a few weeks ago. Trust me, the experience will speed up as you get higher level. The levels seem to get easier and easier.

You can make overloads relatively easy at 91-92 with spicy stew. You will have to use the logout trick to make them, but it is a great alternative if you are low on cash.
