I understand all your points, and as a F2p Rs Veteran, I tend to agree in principle. However, these skills have still been placed in F2P, and are still available to us. People should not be penalized for taking advantage of this new content, but neither should people be penalized for rejecting it wholeheartedly. This is a middle-ground option we have found. As I said, if the community forcibly leans one way or the other on the issue (remember, this is day 1 after all) the lists will be changed accordingly in the future. Nothing is set in stone. These lists are for the Pure F2p community, and will change with the community if necessary, just as they did when the highscores were taken from us. If Jagex was indeed to go back on their word and remove these skills from the F2P game (unlikely scenario) the list would revert to how it was before this update, and said P2P levels would be removed from said totals, as well as said exp gained in the stats. The players who had trained the skills would be given a rank similar to the "Glitched" rank given to 222Champ, Meneer Naab and Gereed123, meaning they had gotten P2P experience while remaining Purely F2P (they were the victims of a dungeoneering glitch that netted Agility Exp, for anyone who doesn't know). No harm would come to them. This is all, of course, conjecture.

List updated: 03/04/2013 Added: Airazor101 - Active & Converted, Total & Experience Lists - Removed: M I A O W - bumped/no longer meets the requirements (Active Total List) Fafman - bumped/no longer meets the requirements (Active Exp List) - Was going to wait until the 5th to update, like usual, but Jagex threw a wrench into that plan today with their latest update. As you can see, we have changed the list to reflect the new F2P Runescape that we live in, and to try and accommodate everyone's conflicting views on the subject. It took us much time, debating, and consideration before we came to this solution, and hopefully it is acceptable to everyone. It was actually when browsing through Isthatok's F2P Archive, when debating whether or not we should make something similar, that this idea occurred to us. Players will still be ranked on the Total Level Lists by their F2P Skill Total, not including the members skills past level 1. This is because of the split in the community, where some are training these member skills, and some are vehemently opposed. The fact that the total exp per skill adds up to around 388 for a total amount of 3104 exp in total (or 3492 if you lamp Construction), next to nothing, means it really should not affect the rank of those who refuse to train them to avoid having P2P skills on their account. However, neither will we penalize players who choose to train these Member Skills up to 5 in F2p, as these players are still Pure F2p. The Total level including P2P skills is shown, in brackets, next to their total level without. There is an example below: The experience gotten in any of the members skills will not, however, be removed from the total Experience of the respective players who chose to train said skills. This was not an easy decision, it took much time, and effort on our part, as well as reading these forum posts (as well as other threads) and speaking with a great many players, seeing what it is they would like the list to be. If the majority of the community starts to train these members skills, instead of avoiding them, there is a possibility for change. I do apologize to the many, many people who asked me what our stand would be regarding this issue, but truth be told, we were not entirely sure until earlier today, and remaking the lists took a great portion of our time and concentration. The Converted Lists will be undergoing a similar treatment soon, when I have enough time to do so. I will also mention that from now on, instead of a 5 Day Update Period, due to the increase of work it takes to do updates (adding and subtracting levels, etc...), the list will once again run on a Weekly Update Cycle. The next update will be on March 10th, 2013, and all subsequent updates will take place every following Sunday. To be eligible for the 250 Lists, your account must never have been logged into a P2P server / world. -side note- Would like to thank the Purefreetoplay Team, and especially Medieval Kid, for helping me out with all of this. The problem arises that after this it will be impossible to tell what accounts are genuinely F2P, or which are former members. There's been nonstop debates going on all day in the friends chat about this (and we've only known about it for a few hours after all), and everyone has a different opinion. If you get experience in skills that are Pay-To-Play, can you really be considered Pure F2p? One of the requirements for being Pure F2p is, and has always been "Has no experience in P2P skills or rankings in P2P Minigames." Quite a few of us older players are vehemently against this. And let us not forget the inummerable easier training methods that are going to come in force (even the possibility of using a former P2P friend's Gilded Altar to train prayer) and totally undermine what we have all achieved thus far. Even those who would try and avoid getting this P2P experience, accidents (such as is guaranteed to happen in Dungeoneering and other places) and the like would prevent us. Of course, the fact that you can train these in F2P now has also sparked the other side, "Since we can do it in F2P, isn't it F2P?" It really seems to me that Jagex is trying to put a final nail in the coffin that has become F2P, getting rid of the trial and turning the entire F2P game into a P2P Trial. I'm really unsure about the future of the 250 Lists, and the F2P game in general at the moment. I am going to discuss this thoroughly with the Purefreetoplay team before coming to a decision on whether or not we will continue the Lists if this update does indeed come to pass. I hope we can, but it seems to me to be an insurmountable task. As soon as we have come to a final decision, I will let everyone know via this forum thread, and of course, feel free to discuss this here as it affects all of us, and I would like to know everyone's opinion on it. I will, of course, continue to update the Lists in the meantime. -Lord Slayas.

Just my two cents, but Gem Bag / Coal Bag / Scroll Of Efficiency are must-haves if you plan on doing any skilling. The bow sight is useless tbh, gravite or mage bows beat it by a mile, so don't waste your time. Arcane Blast necklace is worth getting, but you can put it off until you have a lot of extra tokens since it isn't a huge boost. Law & Nature staff, Twisted Bird Skull Necklace, Tome Of Frost are all pretty much useless and impractical. The Amulet can have its own uses as well, but I would put it off till the end as well. For the Gravite weapons, they are definitely worth getting.

Just recently picked up Lollipop Chainsaw. I went in with very low expectations, and while it definitely started off a bit rocky, with each sucessive playthrough I have been enjoying it more and more. By the time I got to the point where I could buy all outfits/items/combos, I was having a blast. Definitely worth checking out if you can pick it up cheap

It's amazing how much you can accomplish in this game in just a few short days.... Speaking of accomplishments, here's an update :3 87 Prayer: 101 Dungeoneering: 89 Mining: 280M Total Experience: Had a few days of hard playing, so managed to get in a fair amount of levels & exps. Prayer & Dg were both done just because I was relatively close to a level already for both. Going to be pretty much working on mining from now on, and cooking as well. Might throw in a few different skills if I get bored, but we'll see what happens. Till next time. Thanks :)

About time I did another progress update, I've been busy :D 15M Dungeoneering Experience: 15M Crafting Experience: 15M Range Experience: Dungeoneering Glitch: Finally finished getting all my 99 stats up to 15m+ Experience. It was a long goal, and very hard, especially Range (fell asleep at my computer out of boredom no fewer then 3 times while getting the last 227K Experience) but I am very glad I managed to do it. Now, finally, I am out of excuses, and have to start going for my next 99! Unless I try for 25m all 99 stats atm.....but nah =p The Dungeoneering glitch was quite strange, I was Dging with a friend of mine (and fellow TIF blogger), and he was logged out for a moment, and when he returned, it did not display him in the party, although he was indeed on the map and in the dungeon. It fixed itself after the floor was completed, but it was definitely strange. Dese bugs.... Thanks Kaida |^_^| Indeed, 6m Hp Exp too much.... so weird. Thanks though :) And you'll get your wish, i'll be mining quite soon.... Let's see if i can stay awake for that one :wall: Oooh, always nice to meet a follower :D Much as I would like to do Smithing soon, I am waiting until Superheating Rune Bars rises in profit substantially - my plan is to use the profits to help cut down on the cost of prayer. For Gafelgafi, Bond4evr, and anyone else who browses this forum but has been unable to access the site: Back when he ran the list, A U R A (as well as some previous maintainers) used to occasionally attach a picture of the list at the bottom of each update for those people who had problems accessing the old Runehead website. Although I definitely will not be doing this every single update, as it is a fair bit of work to stitch all the screenshots together and make them look decent, I think for the first update of each month from now on, I will attach such a picture. -Side Note- I maintain four lists, unlike the previous maintainers (Active Total, Active Exp, Converted Total, Converted Exp) but I do not really think I will have the time to stitch together and upload pictures of all four lists each time. So, for now, the picture that will be added shall be the Active Total List. Still not sure why some people cannot access the site, I've asked quite a few, and so far only the two who posted above, and 1 other have mentioned the problem. If anyone knows why it is happening, or how to fix it, please let us know so that the problem can be resolved as soon as possible. First of all, I think this was the largest list update I have ever done (definitely the biggest without adding anyone completely new), and a big thanks to everyone who sent in submissions this time and helped make the lists more accurate. A special congratulations to Fluhminator on 190m Runecrafting Exp, Wertyue on 99 Mining (jelly!), Fire Hawk154 on 99 Smithing, LogOnBeach on 100m total Exp, and Tyr96 on making both Converted Lists! Very epic achievements guys! @ Stones Boy: It's always sad when we lose a member of our community, and extra so when we lose one of the few who have managed to max, but we understand, and wish you the best of luck. Going P2P does not change what you managed to achieve while you were F2P, you will always be one of the first 10 players to max level-wise since Dungeoneering came out, and thank you very much for letting us know firsthand. Hope you have fun in P2P, all the best! @ Wertyue: I believe Lady Loxley is slowly working her way towards 200m Runecrafting as well (Over 100m Exp) but last time she spoke about it, she made it clear that she wasn't in any rush. As for the other skills... before EOC, Meneer Naab was going for 200m Defence. I know he put it on hold to focus on maxing (Which he might have accomplished already, I am not sure?). I am not sure if he enjoys EOC and plans on continuing Defence or not, though. For Fishing, Orbitperson is currently pursuing it, although in his own way (Lobsters) and does not seem to be in any hurry. I am not sure if 200m is truly his end goal, but I know he is one of the top players for it, and it is all he ever seems to train. As well, whenever S Diamant Y gets on these days, apparently she splits her time between Pking and Fishing, so technically she is going for it as well. For Constitution & Prayer, no one is actively pursuing them as far as I know, although I could be wrong. @ Gafelgafi: I am not sure what the problem is, as far as I know, it works for pretty much everyone else. Even the old site address is still up and running (although I meant to take it down, decided against it for nostalgia purposes). It is possible you simply have really bad luck, and try and load it while under maintenance (Unlikely, but possible). Other then that, I am really not sure what the issue is. -On A Side Note- It has also come to my attention that there are several players currently on one or more of the 250 Lists that sent in a submission back towards when I first started this list, but have not sent in any updates since. While when & if you update is totally up to you, the player, it is hard to list such players as "Verified", since it has been so long, and they have likely made some, even if only small, progress. While we will not, of course, be removing said players, if an update is not received within 1 year from the initial submission, they will be placed among the group of unverified players for ranking purposes. Of course, this is something we would very much like to avoid, if possible, but it is necessary to keep the lists as accurate as possible. If anyone is currently in touch with any of these players (or of course any of those from the old lists who have not been added yet) and could put them in touch with us, it would be very much appreciated. A few of the players that are nearing this time frame and definitely need to be updated would be: Meneer Naab, Gereed123, Funk471, Hagar888, Arpe12, Muziekman1, Herr Mickey, Sirhasenfurz, Littlepele10, Mr Floweropo, Iggyboy2, Dartfield, Sees All1, Ilovemogtime, Nerd735, Peat77, Dindiin, Loyij, Sin To Alch, Dungeon Mak There are more, of course, these are just a few I personally noticed while doing the last update. If anyone is wondering, I did indeed test this out with Medieval Kid, those are the exact numbers we got, and I came to the same conclusion as he did. Unfortunately, it seems the F2P Cb Nerf is still in effect. Fortunately, finally, people can avoid it quite successfully.

Been ages since I updated this, so here we go :) 25m Firemaking Experience: 100 Dungeoneering: Constitution Glitch: I'm very close to several update pictures so was holding off on updating this blog, but unfortunately, my play time has severely dwindled over the last few weeks from a combination of crazy times at work, the upcoming holiday, and helping a friend out through a very tough time. The glitch picture up above was really strange... I was training range, slowly working my way to 15m Experience, and that happened. 0.0 Slowly working my way towards all my other EXP goals, hoping to have them done in the next week or two. Then, it will be time to start mining. Thanks Tna :D Thanks ^.^ You mean this outfit? It is one of the standard clothing outfits you can get from Thessalia's clothing shop in Varrock. I believe the exact ones are called Herbalist Robes? They are normally coloured black, but I just changed that to red. Also wearing a clan cape and Str Ammy (t), and red gloves.

Honestly, I've wished for the old days multiple times, but the real problem is that the community from that time has really moved on. If the vote was successful, I am sure the new server would be quite packed for the first couple of months, but inside of a year it would probably empty out significantly if not completely. I am also sure that, despite their assurances, it would split the current community quite heavily. Even if one of my accounts was P2P at the moment, I don't think i would vote for it.

The trial is an issue that differs from one person to the next. Personally, I would consider anyone who has not used the trial in any way, shape, or form to still be Pure F2P as there was absolutely no advantage gained, and you were essentially F2P the entire time. Logging in even briefly to a member's world, for any reason, would invalidate your account. The majority of people I have spoken to (or who have spoken to me) agree with this, however, everyone has their own opinion regarding it. Personally, instead of forcing the trial on new accounts, I have always thought it should be something unlockable, for example, when you reach 500 total level, you are eligible for the trial. That way, anyone who might really want to try it could, and could actually benefit from it (as it generally doesn't much benefit your average, new player starting from scratch) and anyone who did not want to pursue it would not have it forced upon them. It would also prevent a lot of those macro-ers and goldfarmers from training in P2P and spamming their ads in P2P worlds, which I hear is a hot topic.

Cooking lobsters with urns has yielded to me up to 201K/hr (on bonfires of course) and my worst hour I think I got around 170K. It's very easy.

Update time! Just a small one, this time. 20m Firemaking Experience: Top 10 F2P Cooking: The second picture shows my cooking EXP, which ranks me (for now) in the top 10 players in F2P for cooking. I really doubt it will last, and I'm sure I'll lose my spot soon enough, but I still thought it was cool =P Not many pictures, since still been working on slow skills and getting them up to 15M Exp. I am very close to several levels though, so fingers crossed, big update next time. The item I was crafting crashed spectacularly earlier in the week, so I had to stop, but the good side effect is it let me get in some guilt-free Cooking and Fming. 6m Total Experience gained in 5 days ftw!
